Nope. I cannot recommend this company. If there was a star for zero, I would have checked it. Even though they said they would do the work I needed, they NEVER showed up, and they NEVER called me, even though I requested their services. The photos show what they left me with until I could find someone who would show up and do the work. Here's my story: Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Still waiting. Now, giving up. I contracted with AA Brite in about 2017 to do roof coating, etc. on my home. They did a good job at that time, and I wrote a glowing review. Now, I'm really disappointed. I actually liked Rob and Nellie. Nellie, especially. They can be courteous and knowledgeable. In the following years, one section of the roof began to leak. I called them. They came out and patched it. This happened several times, up until last July 2022, when a man came out and patched it again. By this time, chunks in the ceiling of the bathroom began to fall into the room. See photos below. In the fall of 2022, I notified them again that the leak continued and it was getting worse. Rob came out, told me that there was too much pooling in a certain section, and I'd needed to have some major work done. My husband covered the roof section with a tarp. Lots of rain storms continued. The tarp held somewhat. The ceiling chunks continued to fall. Rob told me that he'd give me a quote on the repair. I received his quote in an email. And, in a follow up phone conversation, he told me to call the office and speak to the scheduler. I agreed to his price. I called the office immediately to get on their schedule. She said she would put me in the queue. That was early December 2022. Then nothing. No phone calls. No emails. No anything. I'm guessing that he didn't want the job and hoped by ignoring me, I'd just go away. There's an old saying: If you don't answer the phone, maybe they'll stop calling. Fortunately, my husband found an expert who came out promptly, assessed the problem, and did a stellar job repairing and ensuring that the roof would now be great for years to come. He even repaired the bathroom ceiling, installed a new skylight (which may have been a contributor to the problem) and painted the bathroom at no extra cost! As a result, that contractor is now painting my entire home this week. It's a big job. I cannot in good faith recommend AA Brite. read more

AA Brite, or at least one of the owners Bill, is probably the most honest business I have ever experienced. I wanted to give my house a complete exterior paint-over before putting the house on market in June 2020. Knowing it was a big project, I asked several contractors to stop by and give us bids. Overall about 10 plus businesses came. The bids were from close to $ 3600 to close to $6k. When Bill came, he inspected the exterior and the spots that I was concerned about and that prompted me to think about re-paint. He then said to me "Don't get me wrong, I would like to earn your business. However I don't think you need a re-paint". That surprised me. He went on to explain, the overall paint was not in a bad shape. The few spots that had either peeled off exterior can be fixed easily with touch-up paint by a handyman, and probably would only be a few hundred dollars repair. He said I should put the house on the market and save the money for concession to buyer's repairs list. Given it was a seller's market, he said he really doubted any buyer would request a total new exterior paint job. Those were wise words. In the end we did not paint the house and our house was sold pretty quickly just as Bill predicted. In case I still wanted to go ahead with the project, Bill also gave me a bid. With all the discounts that company offered, the price ended up to be around $ 3600 to $ 3700, so it is among the lowest, if not the lowest, bids. Another side note. I still needed to hire someone to do the touch up work. I had contacted several handymen or painting contractors. Due to various reasons, I got strike-down by them all (either scheduling issue or maybe the project was too small). I was in crunch time and getting desperate to get it done before the house was listed. I called AA Brite again as my last hope and that was three weeks after Bill came. Though for similar reasons AA Brite wouldn't do it, Renee (secretary) was able to hook me up with one crew leader. All paint repair jobs were done for a total of $275. Although I did not actually business with AA Brite, the experience with the owner and the staff had been very pleasant. I believe the owner runs a honest and high quality company. read more

Very happy with the results obtained from hiring AA Brite. We had them do some much-needed exterior painting and roof re-coating, along with stucco and roof repairs prior to the paint/re-coat. We had a number of quotes, and felt most comfortable with Bill/Robert/AA Brite and decided to use them for both roofing repairs/re-coat and exterior paint job. Excellent pricing was offered for what needed to be done, and we liked Bill's detailed explanations. Also, they agreed temperature was critical for proper roofing re-coating, so we would wait for warm weather. Reuben Flack was AA Brite's crew chief for us, and he was great. Reuben called in advance to keep us updated on scheduling and weather conditions (as we had a cold, wet winter and early spring here in Green Valley), which meant a few delays, but also meant proper application temperatures were observed for longer roof life. We appreciated the contact and customer care Reuben gave us, which made the work easier and more enjoyable. Reuben's assistant, Joe Dowdall, was likewise a pleasure to work with. Both were punctual, very courteous, informative when asked questions. The work went according to schedule, with every bump smoothed out to our satisfaction, no problem. Reuben and Joe were a good team and worked well with us. (Which was nice, as it doesn't always turn out that way with contractors.) The final results were excellent: a beautifully painted home and a secure, newly re-coated roof. Best yet, Reuben and Joe left the job site spotless, and Reuben returned for last touch-ups by hand. For my wife and I, the quality of service was really top-notch, and we were very happy with the results. They delivered on all promises made. Very impressive. Will employ again. I collected 5 quotes for an exterior paint job on my house and while AA didn't come in the cheapest, I chose to go with them based on the rapport I had with Bill (and this is NOT a review on Bill, he was on vacation out of the country when I called back) when he came out to give me an estimate, their online reviews, and the detailed way they presented how they do their jobs. Bill came out on a Friday and the next Wednesday, ~3:00, I called to book them for the job, The phone went directly to voicemail so I left a message asking for a call back and that I'd chosen them for my paint job. I hadn't gotten a call back by Thursday afternoon so I called back again, ~4:00. This time Robert answered and told me he'd been busy all day, that he had about 8 phone calls to return, he was on his way back to the office and that he would put me on the top of the list to call when he got there in about 20 minutes. Thursday night -- no call Friday -- no call Saturday -- no call Monday -- I selected a competitor for the job This was made more disappointing considering on the flyer I was given, under the "Why You Should Choose Us" heading, reason #1 is "Owners are your direct contacts, Monday - Saturday, 6am to 10pm". I'm sure my job wasn't as profitable as some of the others AA was working on at the time but to me, it was the most important. I hope that AA didn't return my calls because they are swamped with work, because I don't want to believe they just blew me off. However, my experience (post-Bill) was very discouraging. read more

(I don't know why Yelp thinks I'm from San Francisco...cuz I'm from Tucson, AZ.) Friends who had used AA Brite referred us to them when we were ready to paint our flat roof home. Bill came to our home to do a walk-through of what needed to be done. The house is stuccoed with a lots texture, and we had some cracking and a little stucco loss to be repaired. We were pleased to learn that AA Brite also does roof coating, which was great because we needed that as well. What we really liked about their process was the stages of cleaning and prepping they went through...power washing, patching cracks, and when the painting started, spraying and back rolling to get every bit of the heavy stucco covered. Same with the roof...power washing, cleaning and prepping areas that needed extra attention ... then two coats of premium coating. Frank, the crew chief, and his crew members were knowledgeable and focused on making sure we were happy with the work. We did have some bumps and delays because of weather, then getting everyone's scheduled to mesh again ... but in the end we were very pleased with the job. The house looks great ... the neighbors are even making comments about how nice it looks and how much time the crew spent not making it just right. Pricing was good and the paint and coating materials were top drawer. We were happy to be able to get the house painted and roof coated by one company at the same time, for what we felt was a very fair price, especially for the quality of work. read more

AA Brite was excellent to work with. I asked them to come out and take a look at my roof to see if anything needed to be done, before I had Solar installed for my pool. They found some areas where the coating wasn't sticking, and showed me the areas. I decided to have the entire roof re-coated, and their price was very reasonable. They gave me an approximate start date, but ended up being able to start early. Christian and his crew came and worked on the roof. Christian was great at keeping in touch. We ran across issues with the coating not sticking, due to repairs made by the previous owner's unlicensed contractor (who apparently used a non-roofing product to coat a small area that had been leaking). AA Brite kept right on trying! They used numerous products, and ended up having a specialist from Tucson Rubberized coatings come out to take a look. Long story short, they came out multiple times to try to fix a problem that wasn't their fault. The roof is finally done, and they have assured me that they are going to keep checking it to make sure there are no further problems. I really appreciate their perseverance and commitment to getting my roof done right. Other companies would have just walked away. Thanks, AA Brite and Christian! The crew that Rob Anderson, coowner of AA Brite, sent to our home to stucco and paint our house were awesome. The crew consisted of Reuben Flack and Joe Dowdall. Both of these guys were professional, courteous, friendly, and a pleasure to have around our home for the approximately 10 days they worked for us. Ruben's skilll & expertise at patching an old Adobe with stucco were superior. He made our 150 year old Adobe look fresh & clean. We have had other adobe repair people and I can recommend Ruben as one of the finest ever. While Ruben was busy patching and stuccoing Joe was busy prepping for the paint job. He did an amazing job of protecting the wood lentils over the windows, the windows & frames, & the doors from any paint damage. Prepping for painting a house is really much more work than actually painting the house. Joe took his responsibilities seriously and extremely efficiently. Both gentlemen painted window frames, doors, trim, and surface walls as well as the surrounding patio walls. It was a huge, arduous job. They were an excellent team. We would recommend them unconditionally. Their workmanship was superb, their attention to detail above and beyond, and their demeanor and professional attitude much appreciated. I needed to have my roof and home exterior repair after a hail storm did damaged. I called 4 different companies for a quote. AA Brite was the only one that answer the phone, the rest went straight to voicemail. AA Brite ste me up with an appointment for a quote that was convenient for me. They took the the time to explain the process of the repair. The quote included a step-by-step of all the repairs and painting that would be done. It even included a list of trusted local referrals( services they trust and are comfortable recommended to clients) for all kinds of services and amenities for your house. I was so impressed with the process so far that it was easy to have them do the work and repairs. Next I was contacted by the crew lead ( Angel R) to set up a time to start on my house. He and his crew were always on time. They took great care to mask and protect everything from overspray and damaged. Angel was there every day until the job was done. The stucco repair looks great. The paint looks awesome. My house looks brand new. The work on the roof is tip top. We had rain all last night and woke up with zero leaks. I had the exterior of my house and a cinder block wall painted over a week ago by Frankie and Armando and they did an amazing job. Bill Kimbley first came out to the house with a quote package. He was very thorough with explaining the project and what the process would be to make sure the house would be painted to my satisfaction. I had contacted 4 highly rated contractors for bids and even though AA Brite came back with the higher bid, it was well worth the price paid for the great job and quality work completed. One of the reasons I selected AA Brite was because of the high rated customer satisfaction reviews. Another reason was no initial payment was needed upfront and they offered check and cash discounts for the final payment. The crew was very careful when performing the prep work, repaired cracks in the stucco, and very easy to work with throughout the entire project. They are very professional, friendly and were accommodating to resolve any issues I had during the project. I highly recommend hiring this company and requesting Frankie and Armando to perform the work. During this monsoon season we had significant leaking. It was clear previous owners had a similar issue. After getting a bid (very competitive) for a full roof seal the work was done promptly. Here is where it got interesting. After completion of the job, the next night had torrential rains. The leak was better but still there. This cycle repeated itself two additional times despite attempts to fix. Finally, Robert came out with additional staff and finally found the problem. It was a hidden, likely DIY project, with a suspect drain that had deteriorated. It didn't rain very hard after that until tonight. I was waiting to do a review until a big rain. We got it and not a drop of water. The impressive part to me was that I payed in full after the initial job. When the leaks continued the crew was out the next day on each occasion. They assured me they would not rest until it was fixed. That is exactly what happened. They could have easily placed this job aside or simply given up. They already had my money. That is not how AA Brite does business. Obviously I give my highest recommendation for their services. read more

All of the great reviews that you read are true and they work hard for every one of them. I had the pleasure of working with Bill on getting a quote for my home that desperately needed some work before selling it. The exterior needed painting and I also needed help to identify the cause of a potential water leak on the roof that was over my back patio. Bill was able to identify the issue with my roof right away and give a solution. I was impressed at the detailed quote that I was given and the different options I could choose from. I have a 2800 sq feet single level stucco and tile roof home in East Tucson. I know very little about stucco and house painting. I needed someone I could trust. In 2020 I contracted with AA BRITE 24/7 LLC to repair damage to my stucco and paint my home. Bill Kimbley visited my home for an estimate. VERY IMPRESSED. He is well versed in the business and apparently honest. Their contract is the best I have ever seen - complete, clear, nothing left out. You know what you will get and what the cost will be at job completion - no smoke and mirrors. I am trained in the Law and recognize a good contract when I see one. Angel Ramirez and his helper arrived as scheduled in late March and worked diligently. I watched them work. They know what they are doing and why if you want to ask them. Products applied to my house are first rate and their work was excellent. No trash left behind. This is a first rate operation. They provide a very high value for the cost charged. Very affordable. WE had several painting contractors prepare quotes for coating the flat roof of our house. While not the cheapest, we felt that AA Brite gave us the best package that included a lot of preparation work that the others did not offer. Their crew arrived on time at 5:30 AM (by our invitation) and thoroughly cleaned and prepared the roof for coating before the first can of paint was even opened. The job required three days to complete, the first being only power washing and general preparation, then two more days to apply the two coats of premium white coating. The job was completed as scheduled and the crew cleaned everything up completely too. This company will also return in 4-6 weeks to inspect the job and touch up anything that appears to need a little extra attention. I would certainly recommend using this company, just be aware that they may cost more than some of the others. Then again you get what you pay for too. Make sure you know what product will be used for your job, there are cheaper that other companies may offer in an effort to get your business. read more

I have a roof that I have not kept up in years and after taking one look at it I knew I needed it to be fixed before Summer/Monsoon season. I called AA Brite and Robert came out THAT DAY and gave me an estimate and total time frame for work completion. I called the next day to accept their offer and was then in contact with Nelly who was great throughout the entire process. Nelly kept me updated and made sure that my schedule worked with the workers schedule. They came out, scraped and pressure washed my roof (It was not pretty) and then said would be back to do the patches and coats. Then it rained and rained and rained almost all weekend. Nelly kept in contact with me and updated the schedule based on the weather and they even came out on the weekend! to finish the job. Amazing service and amazing work by the owners and the workers. I will definitely be using them in the future for various projects. They are even coming back next week to review the work and touch up if necessary! AABrite 24/7 is the best roofing company in Tucson without a doubt. We called no less than 8 companies to request an estimate. Several just didn't respond while others came out a week later. These guys came out the next day and were very thorough on their explanation of what we needed. Once we decided to go with them they scheduled the work in just a few days. Ruben Flack and Joe showed up on time, completed the work when promised and kept us well informed the whole time. It's been about 3 weeks since our roof coating was done and last week, on an extremely windy day, we heard a noise on the roof as if some thing was blowing around. We contacted Ruben, he came out to ensure everything was in tact and there were no issues. Everything was perfect, just found a rabbits hind quarter up there so some bird of prey was either playing with their food or dropped their leftovers on our roof. We had gotten several estimates for exterior paint and AA Brite was by far, the most professional and most knowledgeable! The pamphlet we received was very detailed in the companies licensures, process, materials, and what exactly is included. It even includes trusted local referrals for other work your home may need. When Frank and Armando came out to complete the work we were even more impressed! I used AA Brite for the exterior painting of my home. Frank Sillik and Guillermo were the crew that did the work and they were very professional throughout the whole process. They followed the 19-step process as outlined on their website that includes repair of cracks and stucco damage. I had multiple areas of stucco damage and they patched up all the areas very well. Frank maintained active communication throughout the whole process and made a strong effort to make sure I was happy with every little detail. They cleaned up well after they were finished and also left me with some leftover paint. I also liked how Frank mentioned he could come back in 2 to 4 weeks if there were any areas I noticed that needed touching up. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the good quality paint that they use with multiple coats that should last awhile. I really appreciated their attention to detail. The job took 3 and half days and my house looks great. I would definitely recommend AA Brite for any painting work for your home. read more

Choosing a roofer is no easy chore and as a Real Estate Professional, I have had my favorites-until my favorite failed every expectation so I decided to try AA Brite. They impressed me from the day I called. They scheduled a time to give me an estimate in a reasonable time. They sat down with my husband and I after the walk on the roof and gave us a detailed view of what needed to be done and the costs associated with the work. We hired them....They came out ON TIME, completed the work ON TIME, they were professional, kind and did a wonderful job. They return 30 days after the completion of the job to take a look and see if anything needs a "touch up". The day I had mentioned to my husband that I thought 30 days was about up ....I got a call from the roofer to make an appointment for the following day to take a look at the roof. Had Carport roof repaired this past week with Rene and her crew... They were right on time and to my estimation did a great job..I will know for sure when the next rain comes....The exact quote given by Bill a few weeks earlier was the exact amount Rene figured upon completion...It took all of about 5 hours.. I must apologize to falsely accusing the crew for depositing old roofing material in my alley by calling Bill to complain...It actually was my neighbor across the alley who had some roofing done this same time period and then placed all their old material right in front of my gate to the alley covering the water meter..Large wood material, tar paper and old wood siding from their house...This happened the same time period my carport was being repaired...To make my concern worse, the color of paint was almost the same as my carport is painted... Anyway I made a mistake and do apologize...This is a great and fair company and I'd recommend them to anyone needing their service.. read more
