Taylor Quayle is the estimator, very good , very honest, no over selling, down to earth and a great personality . He will explain all and answer questions. The owner, Bill, his roofing manager Jaime, and his crew leaders , down to the newest employee, are hardworking, knowledgeable and get the job done right . Their pricing is fair and reasonable. They might not be the lowest bidder but they will be the best and cheaper from some. I am so pleased that I found them. My realtor recommended them for a house I bought that needed a new roof. Turned out great. No mess left afterward, everything picked up, they did multiple sweeps around the perimeter with a powerful magnet to pick up nails, and they re-used Spanish clay tiles where they could to save me money. They took special care around skylights/solar tubes and included them in the warranty , but other roofers excluded them from the warranty. Nobody likes the expense and hassle of having to put on a new roof, but it sure makes it easier when you have good , honest people to work with, like at DSR Roofing. They used to be Desert Sky Roofing , but lots of Desert Sky names in Tucson, so they went to DSR Roofing. I checked them out at the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and they had a good record there too. So i give them a gold star for service, quality, value and for how they communicate with their customers. I would recommend DSR Roofing to family and friends. On June 3, 2026, a major windstorm moved through Vail, and the gusts were so strong that a large sheet metal roof panel on my home was flapping violently and appeared ready to tear off and become airborne. I couldn't be any more pleased with Taylor and Desert Sky Roofing! Since purchasing my home several years ago, I've had a leak which seemed to be originating from somewhere above my back porch roof. I called Desert Sky Roofing for an estimate and an expectation of having to repair and/or re-coat my entire roof. Taylor came out at the appointed time and surveyed my entire roof. To my surprise, he stated that my roof was in good shape and not yet a candidate for re-coating, except in several areas around the roof scupper drains. The fact that Taylor did not try to sell me something he didn't feel was necessary came as complete, pleasant surprise. Taylor's crew came out and repaired several areas in and around all the scuppers, as well as shoring up areas around my skylights that looked like they might be the next to see issues (this was not part of his original scope-of-work, but they completed it at no extra charge). A summer thunderstorm with very strong winds tore up the flat roof on my back porch. I had done business with DSR Roofing back in March (on the recommendation of my insurance company), and was very happy with the service provided then so I gave them a call for this project as well. The response was very quick, which was surprising since I knew they were very busy dealing with the aftereffects of the storm. And the crew was out right away to remove all the damaged materials. These guys working in 100+ degree heat are simply amazing! I don't know how they do it, but they got the job done with expert care. It looks so much better than it did before.
