The windows on our house badly needed to be replaced, and if we were ever going to do anything about the rest of the exterior (or house had beaten up aluminum siding over brick for some weird reason) it made sense to do it at the same time. Window contractors wouldn't do the carpentry on the sills, remodelers said the job was too small, and I didn't want to give such a precise job to a handyman. In addition to having extensive knowledge and expertise, the guys from AA Repairs and Replacements are very responsive and reliable. They can definitely be counted on to come through in a pinch. Back in March of this year, several large siding panels suddenly came loose from the rear of my mother's house. One section of the siding was hanging precariously over the back porch. The section was near the roof. We were afraid it would come crashing down, especially given the high winds in the area at the time. My mother called several contractors, and AA Repairs was the only company who got back with her right away--the same evening in fact. The company owner (Arif) came to the house the next day to look at the fallen siding, even before my mother decided to let him take care of the replacements. Arif also took the time to explain exactly what he would need to do and why. Arif and one of his men returned to the house a few days later to replace all the damaged siding. When they were done, the entire affected section not only looked brand new, but to look at it now, you'd never know anything had ever happened in the first place. Their work is particularly impressive because the house is well over 50 years old, requiring them to place a special order for siding that had a similar color to the old panels. Moreover, they also repaired a section of one of the attic vents free of charge. Arif came through for my mother again earlier this month. A young man canvassing her neighborhood for construction work told her that some birds were nesting in that attic vent and would need to be replaced as soon as possible. Since Arif had done such a thorough ob with the siding replacement, she reached out to him about the attic vent. Within a couple of days Arif took time out of his busy schedule to take a look at the vent. Not only did he confirm that the vent needed replacing, he also examined the attic vent on the other side of the house and determined that it also needed to be replaced. Shortly after that, Arif and a colleague were back at her house, taking just a couple of hours to replace both vents.
