About 3 business days later I contacted them over the phone since I had not received any calls back regarding my quote request (only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5) and I was quickly helped by Aaron. He was able to get me the renters insurance the same day and help me with the auto to try and get me the best deal. I found him to be honest and helpful. The process of payment and signing documents was mostly electronic and never had to go into the office. Very happy with Aaron's service and looking forward to working with this agent for years to come. I always prefer the service of an agent over direct carriers, better service and dealing with the same agent all the time.

I called Southern Insurance Group last week to cancel my auto policy for my sons car, which was…read morerenewing on December 22. I sold my sons car and he was getting his own policy for another car. It was set to auto pay on December 22. I spoke to someone at the office and she said that she canceled that Auto Pay. She said " just don't pay and the policy will cancel " They withdrew the funds anyway and now I will have to waste more time on the phone trying to get this money back. This agency is Southern Insurance, but they were bought out by this Patriot Growth Insurance. I will be switching my homeowners policy to another agency. This really screwed up my bank account because I was not expecting that large amount to come out of my account. I have been trying to call, but now there is no answer.

I replied asking why and I even attached the home inspection done a few months prior which clearly said the roof was in great shape. I got no reply. The following week I got a letter saying coverage is going to be canceled in two weeks. I was shocked and called and left messages never hearing anything back. I don't know what to say. Never been treated like that before by a company. Got insurance with another provider just fine. They said the roof was fine but some companies try to gauge you for things.

We called ahead and were told we could visit as a walk-in. The store was surprisingly empty and we did not have to wait. The staff there was very sympathetic and understanding with my mother's situation. They guided us and educated us on her options and addressed all of our concerns. My mother was able to fill out her application in a matter of 30 monies or so and we left content.

I especially like that you can withdraw cash from any ATM worldwide and they refund all associated fees. They also refund fees involved in transferring accounts to their bank. We tried the advisory service for a while, but the advice seemed generic so we switched out of that. It's more for recommending what to buy and sell back on your risk tolerance after filling out a long intake form. You can find similar recommendations by searching for Schwab recommended stocks or mutual funds. They do also have a special Schwab Amex platinum card that you get $200 cash back toward the annual fee depending on account balances. I highly recommend banking with Schwab, especially if you have brokerage and IRA accounts.
