ZERO stars!! Please do not use them!!!! BEWARE!!!!! I had dropped off my generator that I use for my mobile business for a repair on a Friday giving them a $86 deposit or scam fee. When they had messaged me on Saturday with a diagnosis and cost of $586 I told them I can't afford it and I'll come by to pick it up. Ashley replied after speaking to my husband they can do better on the price as a "courtesy" and was promised it would be done Saturday. Unfortunately we agreed because like I said I use this to power my mobile business. Well Saturday passes no word and now Sunday night comes along still haven't heard from them so I message them asking when it will be done. I was told that something else broke on it this is at 10pm and it was being worked and will definitely be done on Monday. Now I cancel my Monday appointments. Monday comes don't hear from them I text them they say it's not done taking "longer than expected." But then 11:00 they text saying go there right now it's done.. it's 11:00pm my son is sleeping in bed and can't leave so we set up for the next day but am told it has to be at night so we agree to 9:30pm. Then she switches to 10pm we say okay. Next night we show up 10pm like agreed text Ashley she said 10:30pm now. Leave come back at 10:30pm text we are there replies back 5 min later saying they are 10 minutes late. Then I am told at 10:45 it's technician is not there !! But the technician will deliver it to my house personally, kept insisting meanwhile I'm sitting out side of the shop!!!! at this point I do not trust these people no more and I don't want them having my address. The next day comes set up pickup time and get there and now it's broken again even though it was fixed the previous day?!?!???? . The days go on with the same thing going back and forth showing up to pick up after agreement with countless excuses as to why they aren't there. I now have missed work and had to buy a new $1500 generator just to keep my mobile business going. At this point I just want it back. They tell me it's still broken and need a few days I say no I just want it back they tell me I have to give them $150 to pick up a broken generator!!!!!!!!! Do not use.beware. scam artists. They are not licensed or insured. They ask for 800 for every repair before work is done. Dan also works for 23/7 fast appliance and never diagnosed the refrigerator just pulled it out and broke our dishwasher causing a flood after they left. They refused to return the money we gave for parts and no reputable company shoukd collect money for parts. Do not hire this company. Technician showed up over an hour late, shaking and could not keep his hands or body still. He stated multiple times that it was fixed and that "the receipt is good for 30 days, if not fixed they will send someone else out" which cost $175. We took his advice to run the appliance with vinegar, which did not work. We called to get another technician out and was told we have a balance of $500+ to fix the appliance... The next day we are quoted over $500 dollars to replace her carburetor!! I was a mechanic for a long time I know what they cost and how long it takes to put one on and I was dumbfounded with that price, I originally thought it was because she was a female and they were taking advantage but after reading all of these reviews they do this to everyone! i was able to get them to agree to another $300 to fix it. Here is where the real problems begin, the girl Ashley who fields the phones for these crooks went back and forth with us for days finally one night around 10pm tells us the generator is done and ready to be picked up. We get to the store around 1030pm and we sit there for over an hour to which ashley says the technician got "held" up and is one his way. Then she tells us just go home he will drop it off! I ain't giving these people my address after all the BS they have been pulling. then the next day she says oops generator isn't fixed they need to order another part and it will be another few hours! Ok shit happens I guess, but then it just never gets fixed! I keep getting this run around and now after weeks of back and forth I tell her listen I'm coming to get my machine she says well I need $150 now and then I'll fix it!! So it was never fixed they lied to us and stole our property and now are extorting us into paying for parts and labor that I'm willing to bet we're never bought and hours that we're never worked!! if anyone sees this that has dealt with these people, please get in touch with me because I have already began court proceeding to sue them to get my property back, for the money they scammed out of my wife and all the money lost not being able to work waiting for a generator to be returned that was never being worked on in the first place and the cost of buying a new generator!!!!! The reviews are so true. They tried getting me to prepay for the repair labor and part before they would order anything and call it company policy. The diagnosis of $150 was suppose to go to the repair so instead they jack up the part cost so high you don't do it and they make a living out of diagnosis fees. If you chose to pay the excessive fee then sorry but you got suckered. They wanted to charge an additional $450 for a part that cost $40 and the labor literally would have been 20 minutes to remove 2 screws and unclip a harness and vice versa. Not even one star. STAY AWAY! These people will only take money up front and never do the work. My call to them resulted a 7-8 pm appointment to which they showed up at 9:15. $175 in cash was needed for them to look at my problem. They diagnosed it then said it would be $400+ for parts payable immediately or they wouldn't order them. Check was cashed first thing the next day then they never came back. I scheduled FOUR different appointments on four different days. Each one for a 4 hour window. One excuse after another and they never showed after keeping my on the hook each night for hours even after that window, saying they're on the way, they're showing up any minute, etc. Now I'm out all that money. Please, please please do not even think of using this companies services. They only accept cash payment in advance. Should they fail to repair your appliance (as is likely) you will have no recourse to compel them to perform. And they have no compunction about taking your money while leaving you with the same problem unresolved that you called them for. Appointment times are never met. Repairs are shoddy at best. Beware! They ask for 125.00 in cash as soon as they get there. What ever the amount is after that,they subtract the 125 from the total. Only thing is,they don't. I was ripped off for 125 dollars. On 11/17/2021 I called Fast Appliance Service and spoke with Ashley who answers the phones, makes appointments. I made an appointment for a repair service for the ice maker in my freezer that was not working. I was told by Ashley that someone will come to my house on Friday 11/19/2021 from 2-8pm and $165.00 service charge needed to be paid upfront. I waited patiently passed 8pm on a Friday no one called to inform me that the person was running late. I called the office spoke with Ashley and she told me that he was running late and was on his way. DAN finally shows up 10:30PM YES 10:30PM!!! He pulls up in a van with huge flags with obscene messages on it. No apology that he was late. He comes in smelling like booze. I go ahead and explain the problem. He takes apart my freezer and starts to wash the parts in my sink. He told me he had to order a part and once it comes in he will come back to install it I had to pay $598.75 to get the part. Weeks go by and no calls. I call the office to follow up and I speak with Ashley and she tells me DAN is on vacation then says it's a family emergency for 2 weeks. (WHAT IS IT??) I waited then I called past the 2 weeks only to be told that DAN has COVID!! Ashley tells me the part is in I ask if someone else can come and install it since DAN is not around. She said they only have one person. We had an appointment on 2/15/2022 2-8PM this is the only time they do repairs. 8:30pm on 2/15/2022 I received a phone call again from Ashley telling me DAN is not coming he has covid like symptoms. I wasted my whole day waiting. Took off from work. I asked to speak with Ashley's boss/owner (PETER)(ROY) she said he wasn't around but she said she'd be sure to relate the message NOT!!!. NO PETER NO ROY NO CALL, NO SERVICE !!! Ashley insisted that DAN will come Friday 2/18/2022 he was a NO SHOW!! NO CALL!!! I called Ashley the next day and wanted a full refund no repair and out $598.75 this is going on since NOVEMBER 2021!! Ashley tells me to give DAN another chance and he has the part and she confirmed it with DAN. He came on Wednesday 2/23/2022 time slot again 2-8PM SHOWS UP AT 11PM!! SMELLING LIKE BOOZE!! COUNDLN'T EVEN SPEAK!! WEARING SLIPPERS!! HE TELLS ME THAT HE WANTS TO TAKE THE ICE MAKER OUT AGAIN AND LEAVE IT OUT FOR ANOTHER WEEK AND HE'LL COME BACK.HE WAS IN MY HOUSE FOR 10 MINS!! Came on a Sunday and had our fridge repaired the same day, even though it needed a part he didn't have in his truck. He got the part and got our fridge running. Do not use this service for any appliance. I called them for a 10-year old washing machine that the motor was no long working. They talked me into an expensive repair (cost me nearly $600 because they said a replacement machine would cost $1500). I found out the next day that PC Richards in Southampton would replace the machine for $600 so I tried to cancel the service the next day. Fast Appliance pulled a fast one and cashed my check - said that they could not cancel the part since it had been ordered but not received and would reimburse me only $100 for the service call that would not take place. After numerous calls and promises - they never reimbursed me any money or returned the part to me since I paid for it. Very disreputable and untrustworthy. Customer beware. Better to call a better known company or retailer from whom the appliance was purchased or get a service contract from the manufacturer. read more
