After requesting quotes from four local garage door installers in or near the Sandy area, we decided on AAA Garage Door for multiple reasons. Those include 1.) the best installed turnkey price for a new white Amarr 16'x7' Classica #CL3000 3-panel frosted window garage door with new Liftmaster 87504-267 belt drive garage door opener, 2.) bid responsiveness, and 3.) the customer service by the owner of AAA, Scott B. and his installation crew. After a downpayment to get the door ordered from Amarr, we waited around four weeks for the scheduled installation...which took place on the afternoon of Sept 12th. AAA's Tyler, Stockton, and Cash all hustled on the demolition of our 19+ year "contractor special" 4-panel door and vintage Genie screw-drive opener (which was OK, but the lights-on feature was broken and there were no safety devices on the door). That and the hockey puck dents in the door from the boys 15 years ago. The new door went up slower as all of the rails, spring shaft, springs, and associated hardware had to be brand new (due to the three-panel design). Then a fair amount of time was spent adjusting and aligning the door so that it was 'just right'. Tyler then gave me a grand tour of the new door, inside and outside controls, and maintenance (lubrication points.) Scott B, the owner of AAA even came by to check on the installation and installed the inside and exterior keypads himself. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with AAA and the quality of the Amarr door...not to mention a tier 1 installation by Tyler, Stockton, and Cash who hustled and provided a fair amount of comic relief during the 3-hour installation process. My only complaint is that the Liftmaster #87504-267 opener - with its built-in security camera and cellphone app called "MyQ" is only free for 30 days (camera support.) After that, a subscription with Liftmaster (Chamberlain) is required. Bummer. But the camera-to-cellphone interface works great and is a nice security and peace-of-mind feature. (I haven't gotten my doors in yet but it was communicated to me that there are a lot of delays in getting product right now. That's true across the board.) I have used AAA Garage Door in the past and have been very pleased. Recently, the opener on the garage door failed. I called them and the brought out a new opener that day. I installed it and it was defective so they came out the next day they left after trying to replace the new one with other openers they could not get it to work so they left after replacing it with the original opener. They wanted to sell me another garage door system but the tech was not very kind to my wife during this process. I called Scott to get a refund on the new part that never worked and he said he would but after 6 months and many calls later I have yet to see the refund. read more

I had an inoperable garage door in need of fast replacement. I called AAA based on reviews and couldn't be more pleased. I left a message and received a return call within 10 minutes. Scott said he was just finishing up with a client and can he come by in 30 minutes. He was actually early and confirmed what I knew which the 30 year door needed to be replaced. He recommended a door based on the style of our front door and windows. He also gave me a great price on a new opener, even though I thought the existing one could still do the job, I trusted his judgement. He said it could be ordered and done in 10 Days but would get it done as soon as the door was in (big box store had a 30 day delivery window!). He never pressured me and was ready to go to his next appointment and give me time to think about it but I wanted it done quickly so I signed right then and there based on His responsiveness and competitor price. Within 8 Days I had a new door and opener that I couldn't be more pleased with. I'm glad he convinced me to go with the new opener. Scott continued to be communicative and kept me informed through out the process. His team was on time, efficient and neat. There was a dent in one panel (not caused by installation) that needed to be replaced and it was replaced two days after installation. Scott would not leave until I was 100% satisfied. Ten years ago my tension spring broke and I called these guys. They fixed the door in good time and at a reasonable price. (I keep notes in my calendar). Yesterday, my garage door wouldn't open. I assumed it was a tension spring again and called them leaving a message. When someone does a great job, on time and reasonably priced, I look no further. They called promptly this morning and gave me a time window, which fell in line with my having to pick up the kids from school. They arrived on time within the given time period. He looked at the door and told me my springs were fine. He pried open the door with my crowbar in about 3 seconds. Tested the door - all is well! He said, "Merry Christmas!" and there was no charge.
