When I called today, I was hung up on and when I was able to be place on hold, wait times were ridiculous. Over 10 minutes. Staff do not seem to know how to properly handle calls. All I need is my receipt to submit for insurance, but the lack of customer service has made this a nightmare.

They got what they could from my insurance and said someone would get back to me about any charges I would be responsible for. Then more than 2 months later without any warning they charged over $4,000 to my credit card. When I spoke to 4 different people in customer service they were rude and not knowledgeable. They kept insisting on me giving my information repeatedly and then told me to call a different number that was transferring back to the same customer service. I tried to explain that's how I kept getting the same people. But, they didn't know why the phones were ringing back to them. I spoke to a "supervisor" who told me the car wasn't returned for a month. I had the first car 4 days and the second one less than a day. This person also said "it's not our fault that you got in an accident". No, but they should be better at dealing with the aftermath as it is part of their daily business. I will never rent from them again. My insurance increased and they charged me more than $4,000. Obviously I am embarrassed about the accidents and instead of trying to get a 3rd car, I paid an Uber $280 to drive me back home. The $4,000 charge from Avis was more than twice what my credit limit was at the time. Why is that allowed? I am dealing with that with Chase while I try to reach someone at Avis. They way this has been handled is unacceptable. Fortunately I have emails that will prove the car was not kept for as long as they said and the fees are greatly overinflated.

I came to purchase a car for my wife, because hers went down. She found a car and we purchased it cash. But if I rewind, the whole entire time that I was there, this guy spoke so highly of not selling junk and not selling bad cars. My wife test drove it on the highway and back up the street for about 10 minutes. My wife like the car. She drove the car for a couple of days and then began mentioning a rattle and shake on the front end of the car.(Now, remember, some women will just drive a car until the wheels come off, and never really noticed sounds, but this was different and alarming to her) I got in. I heard the noise while she was driving, I decided to drive I heard the noise shaking loose sound, not only was there a shaking, loose sound whenever you press the gas pedal during the gear changes the steering wheel which snatch to the right right in between the gear changes. That's when I was sort of confused because I did not think that there was anything with the motor that could be related to the steering at all, even more odd. I return to the dealership. Now this is when the funny business starts the young lady there immediately starts getting crazy defensive about my complaint and the quality of vehicle never saying to me bring the car back so we can see what's wrong. However, she was sure to make sure that she stated that you know this is a used vehicle, and I should know better, this is an as is dealership, (Like get outta here clown you know you can't complain at a used car dealership sorry you have to be quicker than that, sir. Here's the crazy thing the whole entire bottom of the vehicle never had screws installed on the control arms of the truck except for one bolt that was hanging out had we not gone to a mechanic who did a full inspection and me videos and showed us that we could have been killed in this car no call steel Tuesday from direct auto. These vehicles are unsafe and whoever the person is home inspected, these vehicles should be fired and this place should be close. I have video footage and I have the entire inspection report. When I dropped off my vehicle at the auto body shop, Enterprise picked us up. When we arrived at Enterprise, my reservation couldn't be located. Once I provided my reservation number, the employee located it. I was given paperwork and encouraged to look for dents or scratches larger than two inches and to take photos. He apologized for the lack of stain removal. The seats had some stains. We were shown the basics on operating the car. We brought our own EZ pass to put on the car windshield. If you don't have one, Enterprise does. They charge more than the actual toll but it is still cheaper than a fine you will accrue for not paying a toll. We enjoyed the rental and having dual temperature control. When my vehicle was fixed and ready for pick up, I notified Enterprise. We didn't even have to return the car. The repair shop let us hand over the keys to the rental and just leave it on their property. That convenience was appreciate. Enterprise is across the street. We were able to drive off from the repair shop.

Progressive made the reservation and I scheduled them to come pick me up from Crash Champions in Gaithersburg. They were a bit late picking me up the receptionist at Crash Champions had to call them to determine when they were coming. I had to go to work so this step was really annoying. Finally they pick me up in a ragged van and the driver hit on me the entire time so I was pretty uncomfortable and annoyed. Once I arrived at enterprise it was a smooth process however, I had to pay $100 instead of $50 in which progressive told me I would have to pay. So I need them to get their communication together. Other than that I had a decent experience.
