Needs ZERO stars. Today, a family member was treated horribly. My family member went into this location to ask a question about cashing a check, and they rudely and VERY loudly were speaking with her about how they had NO IDEA what she was saying and was treating her like she was stealing. This was a lady at the front desk, who did not know how to do her job, and another employee (female) who also did not know how to do her job. My family member asked the lady to please speak softer as she did not want others in the building to know her business. The lady became rude again, although speaking softer, was no help. We will be telling others about this horrible experience and how no one seems to be considerate or helpful. For people being available to "help" others, they sure have no tact or consideration for customer circumstances. They need to take a lesson or two in humility and a training class in customer service. Never again will we frequent this location or AAA in general. read more

AAA charged me for a line item on my renter's policy that was not my choice and refused to remove it. Seems unethical to me that they can charge me for whatever they want. Is there no regulation of insurance providers? By the way, the Irving office had nothing to do with this disgusting levy. The main AAA office was my contact, and I don't know how I wound up at the Irving site, but Irving office probably has the same self-serving policies as the main office. read more

Had an accident with aaa customer on 2/17/23. Filed a claim with aaa...they have not responded to the claim. They have not returned any of my dozen phone calls. They have not responded to email. Does anyone know a good lawyer I could use in Houston to get these clowns to respond? I assume that this is how they treat all claims - garbage outfit. read more

I originally came in to get an old school TripTik Travel Planner printed for a friend who wants to visit from Houston but is leery about driving so far on the freeway for the first time. I came in and was assisted by Megan who while preparing my TripTik, reminded me that I could save almost $5 off my annual AAA membership by setting up auto-pay. She also mentioned that I could add a household member for free (including a baby). So cool since I have a 1-year-old nephew that I will soon be living with. Now he is covered under the same benefits (tow/road-side assistance) for whoever's car he's in. Be still my heart! LOVE that benefit! Megan packaged everything along with maps to mail to my friend. So helpful! I stopped by Christian's desk to update my auto insurance policy and ended up saving almost $30 of my monthly bill when I updated my address. Halleluyerrrr! I also briefly discussed travel with Shovon and hope to plan my next family vacation to the Grand Canyon with her! I spoke briefly with Juliette and she was also kind. I ended up taking care of so much in a short amount of time! Who would have thought that introverted ol' me would have actually preferred it over just calling in or making online changes too! Everyone was seriously SO pleasant!! I'm moving to Arlington soon, so they won't be close by, but if I need assistance before then, I'll be stopping by for sure! Had a car hit & run my car, witness caught it all on Go-pro camera. Police got all the owners info, other insurance would not pay because there customer was ghosting them. could get no info out of other adjuster. Turned all the info over to AAA. They said could not pay claim since I did not have full coverage, I have uninsured motorist, they hit me from behind and spun me around until I hit concrete median. It was all on tape, still AAA said they can't help. So now my car is a total loss, and no one is going to pay to fix it?? Will be canceling my policy and filing with insurance board. I hate to complain about AAA as I have used them for so many years and always had an amazing experience, but it is about to end thanks to Christopher Thorne and his horrible customer service. If you happen go to AAA Irving office please make sure to avoid this rude guy. I am utterly disappointed with the company itself and the managers who have been unyielding in supporting customers. One of their representatives gave me false information and now I am being penalized for it. I have been very patient with them and have attempted to resolve the situation, but they are refusing to assist. Do not even try them. Geico is better! I received a quote at the beginning of April for auto insurance and set up the policy to move forward 20 days later. The current State Farm policy expired April 22nd. On April 22nd, AAA charged my debit card for $212.00 in premiums and $57.00 for a membership. I received a call that night that they had ran the "wrong" DL and it would be DOUBLE. Obviously, that was not acceptable and I was told that the money would be refunded immediately. 3 days later, I was told that the money would be there in 48 hours. On the following Tuesday, I was told another 2 days via MAIL. This is an unnecessary inconvenience and caused a lapse in my polices! Still not resolved - the link to a managers emails bounces back as well. I trusted them for many years in the past. I highly recommend anyone steer clear of them. Honestly the other reviews and my experience were completely different. We went in for international driving permits. The service was great. Very efficient process and very friendly staff member helped us out. I'm and out quickly and wouldn't gladly return if I needed further assistance that they offered. read more

Not sure about the other reviews but I've had a pleasant time visiting this office and getting documents notarized. We moved away from this area but I called this office since the one near my house wasn't picking up the phone (they never pick up their phones!! Whole other story tho ;) ) I wanted to get assistance on a membership issue and Claudia (I hope that was her name) was very helpful!! She even gave me a discount saying it was a promotion I should take advantage of. She was very professional and friendly and made the process quick! I am not a guy to complain normally. Do not go here. The notary has no idea what she is doing. Gave us bad information and ruined my documents for the closing of our house. Quick google search on what she said vs reality showed her lack of knowledge. Somewhere along the way she ran out of argument and just went with well it is not my job. Waste of my time. On January 2, of this year I received a letter from the AAA company saying that as of December 24th 2020 I no longer had insurance with them. I called on January 2 and confirmed that I did not have insurance with them. They did not take a payment in December or January. I had the roadside assistance with the policy which is required. They did take this payment in January of 5$. I called and told them to cancel this because of not having insurance with them. The lady I talked to did confirm I didn't have insurance. Today, February 9th this company decided to take a payment from my checking account, and argued with me I read the letter wrong. read more

Very dissatisfied with this company. When I got the policy they assured me I was covered. Filed a claim for roof damage and all they want to pay for are the shingles. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I called Triple A Texas to check out some rates. My first point of contact was Sean Guillory. I told him what I wanted a auto quote and a renters quote. I'm a visual person so I asked them to be sent in a email. I told him that I would review it and I would call him back. He then tried to explain more so that I could hurry up and sign up. I told him the same thing I would review it and get back to him. The following week I called back and spoke with him to start the process. He quoted the same thing so I gave him all my information to get my policy started. That's where it all went wrong. He didn't read or say anything about the fine print he was just happy to get a sell. I am use to my policy being a flat out rate and I pay month to month on it. One flat rate each month. My rate had jumped almost 50.00 and they automatically drafted it out of my account without me knowing. So of course when I tried to contact him about it he didn't pick up or answer my email. So I called corporate back in December and the lady over the phone gave me his managers name and number. I called him and left a message. He called back but I missed the call. I called back and left a message again. It's like we are playing phone tag. I finally reached out to twitter to see if that would help and it did sorta. I finally just called the 800 and I was finally able to speak with a supervisor and she has definitely taken care of me. Someone will be contacting me before the end of the day. On 9-8-2015 I was in Irving Texas visiting my son who has both Texas AAA car insurance and membership. I live in California and new to the area. I was driving his car and turned right too close to the curb and cut my passenger rear tire totally flat. I managed to pull to a stop at 777 Lake Carolyn Parkway, Irving Tx and called AAA at around 9:30am. I told the AAA representative, a man, that I was driving my son's car and did not have his membership number but I did have his auto insurance policy number. He wanted to speak to my son and I told him he was in a meeting and not available. Without asking me whether I was also a AAA member, which I was for more than 20 years, he told me I have to pay my own car tow and I agreed. He gave me a tow company number and hung up. I called the tow company and left a message. After about half an hour, another AAA representative, a lady, called me. After getting my membership number and confirmed it with my California address, she helped me. She told me a tow company would be coming in 45 minutes and gave me the tow company number. I was very traumatized by this experience (still). I was abandoned by AAA and left helpless in an strange area despite paying dues for years. As a member and client of Triple AAA I have been lied to from their customer Representative that has caused me to lose 90.00 in membership fees I was told to continue to pay for 4 months and my membership would be paid up until 2020 which was a lie they were going to keep taking money from my account indefinitely and this service wouldn't have been paid up this was a constant bill please beware of their services and don't believe the lies the customer service rep tells you. follow up and investigate for yourself they will not refund me or give me the next service program and don't believe them when they say you're call is being recorded for customer care is a blante lie they can never pull the recorded calls. so please be aware of this horrible rip off service read more

This was a horrible experience! I have told everyone I know not to consider insurance with triple A. Their insured hit me in the rear as I sat at a red light. I was assured my the adjuster Robert Malone that it would be covered. I have a BMW and wished to have it repaired there. The collision center called mid stream advising that I would have to pay 1300.00 out of my own pocket. Called Robert who agreed to address. He never called me. Finally the car was ready and I was now notified that I would owe 700 and change. Malone tried to blame me advising I withheld information! He advised that I could have had the BMW put the car back together, paid storage out of my own pocket and have it taken to a cheaper place so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket! He advised he never spoke to the collision center about my issue because they didn't call him back and he didn't have time to chase them down. I called his supervisor on several occasions hoping for assistance but she never once called me back. They would not give me her supervisor's name! This was the worse experience ever. I plan to let the insured know of this incident. I surely would not want to be represented by this company. Truly awful! read more
