BEWARE of this place. They demanded $200 cash up front for a service that then took them OVER TWO MONTHS to fix. I know it was stupid for me to agree to this, I just assumed that they were a reputable business. But please heed my warning and don't fall into this trap like I did! They strung me along for those whole two months, making all sorts of BS excuses, even apologized saying they were "on vacation" when I know they were open. The clincher? When I finally got my laptop back, the issue was not even aptly fixed - I started having the same issue a week after getting it back. My laptop had a busted WiFi card, and this store seemed like the best place to go to get it fixed. They took in the laptop and managed to install a new card within a couple of hours. I was asked to pay in cash $230, which was the first red flag. Upon some internet searching, I found out that a WiFi card would be around $30ish dollars, and that installing a Wi-Fi card is very simple. Fool me once, shame on you. These grease bags will take full advantage of those not proficient in computers, and I would not recommend coming here. Fix the problem yourself or take it anywhere else but here. read more

Have to update this review and say I'm disappointed in the quality of their service. My computer wasn't really fixed and still has the same problem that I walked in there with. Their very short warranty on their repairs makes it hard to get them to fix it. Also I just thought its shady that they ask you to pay in cash. I had taken my computer to AAA Laptop and more to have a cracked screen fixed on my touch screen laptop. The first time I took it was in January, he stated that it would take an hour to fix which ended up being 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, it still was not fix because a cord was not working in which he was stating that he was not going to charge me $10 to have it fix. After another 3 weeks, I received the laptop and was turning it on in the store to check it out. Once turning it on, I informed him that it was not a touch screen in which he told me that it had to finish updating. Once I got it home, I realized that it was not the right screen that was put on there.. I had to take the laptop in again to have the right screen put on. My sister gave him a call to see what was going on in which he told her that he would give me back $30. It took 2 weeks because he stated that they sent him the wrong screen. Now it's going on 2 months and my laptop still was not fix. Once I went to go get the computer, it would not turn on, it was broken.. He had to order another computer in which he stated since I was so patient, he was going to give me $100. So after 3 month and 2 weeks, I finally had another laptop. When I picked up the laptop, I asked was he going to give me anything and he stated no because he had to buy another laptop which was refurbished Then once I started shaking my head, he said if it's for you, I'll give you something. I went here after my laptop broke and I needed to buy a replacement while it was being fixed. He asked me to pay in cash and gave me a computer from the display, not in a box. I get home and it has windows 8 installed instead of 10??? So I installed windows 10 and the computer had several functionality issues include function keys not working and windows crashing when I opened certain applications. Unusable for school. It had a thirty day warranty so I assumed I could return it. Come to find out I read the fine print and they don't do refunds. Convenient. It was Summer time and my laptop had been broken since the end of December. I tend to procrastinate but I finally decided to take care of the broken cursor buttons. After looking up laptop repair stores online this one seemed to be the most convenient for me. Also I figured that they must work on a lot of UC student's laptops. Street parking wasn't too difficult on this late weekday morning. The store was just up the street. The signage is easy to see when driving or walking past. The employee who greeted me was very friendly & professional in demeanor. Once I explained the problem to him the employee immediately knew what to do to fix it. My laptop needed a new keyboard plate. He checked for one in black to match my the laptop. When he came back out I was shown one in the color blue but was told he previously saw black ones also. I expressed the desire for the black version but was willing to take a blue one. The repair was to cost $100 and would be ready by the next day. The next day I received a phone call telling me my laptop was fixed but I was busy that Friday and could not get to the store until the following week. When I returned to pick up my laptop both the employee and the owner were present. I was asked to verify the functioning of my laptop. The problem was I'd forgotten my laptop's password. After several minutes without success the owner offered to use an "expensive" device they have to disable the password login function for $50. I declined taking my laptop home to try to remember the password. Before I left the owner told me it was not possible to change my login password without logging in first. Back at home after a few more unsuccessful attempts my laptop which is running on Windows 10 provided me with a way to change my password without accessing my laptop first. I was successful at this and can now log in without any problems. Although the service AAA provided to fix the laptop was quick and reliable I am troubled by the attempt to sell me a service I did not need. My cursor on my Mac laptop just stopped working one day and I couldn't work on it anymore and I use my laptop every day for the whole day, so it was a big dealbreaker for me. I just went downstairs to this place since I was living right there near UC and they told me not to worry and that they will open it up and see what's going on, when they did they found that my touchpad was burnt. They changed it with a new one in less then 2 hrs and it was Saturday noon which worked out for me perfectly since I didn't have to worry to go somewhere far or wait for the whole weekend to be over to get back my laptop. I had a great experience here!! Tony was very nice right from the moment I walked in. I dropped off my laptop (Dell with a broken hinge) and he told me I would here from him in two hours about what had to be done. When he called two hours later, he told me he was able to fix it!! And for a very very reasonable price! I was able to pick it up three hours after dropping it off and I couldn't be happier. Worst experience ever. I had a virus, found them bill was $100, it wasnt until after the repair was completed that they told me cash only... ok no big deal right? I get the computer home, turn it on, and low and behold all of my files are gone.... Everything. I call back, they assure me the files are on there, I take it in, they appologize say they will attempt to locate the files. Nope, gone, not coming back, too bad, no files... This virus only impacted my internet connection, i have more problems now than before I took my PC into their store. I will not be back and would caution others from going there. read more

The only caveat is I was told to pay in cash, but luckily there were ATMs within walking distance of the store. These guys gave me great service today. I cold-called on a Saturday because my 2009 laptop mac pro broke down completely. Tony and Mark worked around a broken motherboard issue and within 4 hours, after having diligently tried to match a compatible motherboard without results, provided me with a virtually identical 2009 laptop with all of my hard drive data installed and working as good as can be, and for about the same price as the initial motherboard quote. Computer repairs and pricing can be tricky, and I hate going for them like I hate going to the doctor, car repairmen, or government bureaus, but I would definitely recommend these guys at the present moment. read more

Hello, went to AAA on UC Campus to see if he could find out why my internet wasn't coming open. Tony diagnosed it and told me the cost would be $100. After doing some quick research I found out it is very easy to do a reprogramming of Windows and only takes at most a couple hours. The review gets 3 stars and the A-OK from me in regards that Tony took my OLD computer that didn't have the capability to power and extracted my old iTunes files and put it on the desktop for me, free of charge, just donate my old computer that was collecting dust! So for $100, he fixed my computer, put my old music files on the desktop to re-download on iTunes. I consider it a win for us BOTH and I'm appreciative of his time and kindness. There may be others out there that would do the first repair cheap BUT considering he is a small business owner and very nice, you might be able to negotiate something that is a win for all.
