I took my laptop there about a week and a half before Christmas. I was hacked by Grinch from Bangladesh. We no longer had access to our credit cards and at this point we didn't know how much money was stolen from us. I was quoted up to $200 for repairs at several shops. It was bad enough I had lost so much and right before Christmas, I was unsure if I could provide a Christmas for my grandchildren. I felt as if I were being robbed again with every quote from other places. When I called Bob's, I was thrilled by the price! I live in Alexandria Kentucky and drive by the shop every single day, yet what came to my mind when I needed help was the places that pound their names into our brain daily! And that's a shame! A friend was going into a business next door and noticed their sign. She immediately called me and I'm so grateful! They had my laptop, that I was completely locked out of, up and running in no time. And I didn't lose as much information as I thought I would! I am a small business owner as well, and had no access to my files! When picking up my laptop the woman behind the desk was absolutely wonderful! Very helpful with questions that I had. In today's world, we are bombarded by advertisements for franchise or chain stores. Therefore it's the first thing we think of when we need service. We need to take the extra time to look into small businesses like this. They give every customer 110% because places like Best buy and Walmart have shut so many down. Since the SCAM-demic, so many small businesses have gone under while places like that excelled. It is more important now than ever, that we stop giving our money to these places and put the money back into our own community and start bringing back the small business! God bless! read more

I had Problems getting stuttering in my games and as a competitive FPS player it is very frustrating, I tried taking it to microcenter several times but they simply did not fix anything. I took it to bob and in 10 minutes he was able to tell me exactly what the issue was and the funny thing is... it was a simple fix. The GPU was connected via daisy cable as opposed to two seperate cables. Bob explained the details on why this was incorrect and not only served me as a customer but educated me on PCs regarding my Issue, this guy is the best PC support technician I have ever met and I highly reccomend using his services... there are not may people like him that offer on site repair and will go to your house to help you. Please do the world a favor and take your business to him so he can keep doing what he is doing and definitely DO NOT waste your time and money at microcenter for PC issues, got a problem.. call Bob. I am so glad I found Bob. The past few months my computer has been getting worse and worse with constant updates, freezing up and VERY slow. A few days again, it became stuck in safe mode with no way to get out of it no matter how many tutorials I tried. I thought it was a goner but Bob repaired a very difficult problem that occurred because I had used remote foreign services in the past. They had put all kinds of stuff on my computer that I didn't ask for or want. He patiently worked through all of it and voila! It now works like new!!! Absolutely Recommend over BestBuy or anybody else! Lenovo laptop went kaput Friday night. Called him Saturday morning and requested that he see what he can do. Dropped it off an hour later because I needed it asap for work. He did some little tests when I dropped it off to see if it was a quick fix. Turns out there was an issue with some mosfets and capacitors on the motherboard. He called me Sunday afternoon about it and explained what he'd done and how he diagnosed and fixed it. I picked it up later that evening. Definitely not an easy fix. The price was very reasonable considering what needed repairing, and he was very fast in responding and fixing the issues. I thought my computer had a virus. I had a strange e-mail and the screen went black and with one small box in the corner. I researched and saw Bob's site. I spoke with him on the phone and he cam out the next day. He was able to identify my problem quickly and fix it. He provided some great consultation on my "older" computer and did some things to make my computer run quicker. He explained everything he was doing in "my language". Found Bob on the net. Gave me an hourly rate which was very reasonable. In my situation it was best I took him my desktop rather than have him come to me. It was finished in 24 hours.
