They should have gotten 1 star based of the very rude facial reaction and welcoming of one the ladies at the front. Luckily Diane stepped up and saved the whole experience but whoever the older rude lady is that sits in the row of desk as soon as you walk in. She sits all the way to the left as you're facing the desk from the front door and she is super rude and should NOT be working in customer service. She needs to rethink being in the service industry. The way you look at people and treat them goes a long way. Maybe she had a problem with a 2 mom family, I don't know, but wouldn't be surprised by the way she treated my family. I guess I will review this business and location even though I'm not a customer or member. This main office used to be on Kelly Road at 10 Mile years years ago. Very nice big parking lot, nice building entrance. I was greeted right away by a helpful receptionist. Upon walking in the door in the lobby they have brochures for travel summer vacation winter vacations or just historical places to visit. Didn't take a photo of anything cuz I was in a hurry to pay my mom's auto insurance bill that was due February 1st., instead of putting it in the mail and be charged a late fee. Very nice reception. No one was in there very slow for 4:45 p.m. before quitting time. There are 10 different counters to check in with representatives to take care of your business . It's almost set up like a secretary of state chairs in the lobby offering free coffee, water. Unfortunately their rates are too high so I'm a State Farm customer. Glad to know that this location is on my way home from Roseville when I need to pay my Mom's bill again in person. read more

The staff is wonderful, helping sort thru the numerous options available to me as a consumer. Formerly known as the Auto Club, it truly is a club, in that you have to pay an annual membership fee to belong. They are a full-service travel agency, as well. If you ever find yourself traveling or visiting in unfamiliar surrounding, merely visit a local branch office and pick up their local road maps and tour guidebooks. They have branch offices throughout the US and Canada. Helpful hint: You can get a substantial discount off of your Auto Club Group Insurance if you are a member of a credit union! read more

Got totally screwed!.... Re-signed my AAA coverage. Had AAA since 1999. Out of the blue somebody decided that they wanted to put my account on auto renew!... someone at AAA!... renewal was for twice the amount that I had previously had and twice the coverage!.... Services that I did not request or need!!! AAA took it upon themselves to do this!!!! and did not notify me either by mail or email!... now everything in my bank account is bouncing around like a rubber ball and I have overdraft fees up the Wazoo!...THIS how I get rewarded for over 20 years of patronage. WILL NEVER USE AAA EVER AGAIN! Nothing but GD thieves!!!! I never ever set up anything for auto renew!! NEVER!.. Sales people get commissions for the amount of auto renews that they gather every month!.... This happened to me with DirecTV and I never do business with them again either because of that... here is my advice DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH ANY AAA NATION WIDE!!.... We have been with AAA for many years. Every aspect of their services has been performed in a highly professional way. I had a claim a couple of years ago and it has taken care of without question. The vehicle was fixed and put back on the road in short order. Their travel service agent, Susan, knows just about everything there is to know on travel. She guides us through which tour has what sites to see and always gets us top value for our money. AAA = solid coverage and professional people in all respects. read more

Have been a member for over 30 years and got a real eye opener today trying to adjust my PIP insurance per the new Michigan reform. Trying to get service from anyone in this company including an agent well known to us and the 1-800# was absolutely impossible. It is my lawful right to make these changes. You would think we were taking dollar bills from their personal wallets. I can only imagine what the main headquarters is instructing them to say and do. It's sad that they are willing to part with over 30 years of loyalty. For shame AAA, luckily there are insurance agencies on every corner!! read more

First time I booked a cruise, very informative and helpful answering my questions, well worth the $25 booking fee.

Used AAA to book my Disney vacation and it was a waste of money. They charge $25 beyond your membership to book for you. The only thing I got that I wouldn't have if I booked through Disney was a photo book. Oh, I almost forgot, they gave me luggage tags without the inserts to put in them. I used them once before to book Disney and the travel agent the first time was much more attentive. The first time, we also were given Mickey ears and we got to do a special story time with Mary Poppins for AAA members. However, they no longer offer that. As far as their other services go, they are fine. I just don't know if it is worth the money. read more

They are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Only problem I have is all people are suppose to check with first clerk at door, however some people decided not to and cut the waiting line. I do not understand why they can not do it the old way where everyone gets in one lie to wait for the travel consultants. read more
