If you're coming from creating a resume yourself, these guys will seem great. The resume they give you will sound really good. But that is because you don't know what is out there. This happened to me. In fact, I referred them 5 more clients! However, I had been looking for a job for 7 months, and had applied to 7,000+ jobs! 50 applications a day 5 days a week for 7 months is 7,000. My resume was being reviewed but I was not getting calls or interviews. I went on fiver and found a professional resume writer who gave me a much better resume for $100! I spent over $700 with these guys!!! Needless to say, I got many more interviews and have now found a new job in a few weeks... Also, when I would review and tell them about typos, they would only fix SOME, not all. First red flag. Double spaces, very generic writing for example: "Command outstanding communication skills with both clients and internal staff." And even worse, an extremely outdated copy on the cover letter, which technically costs more but they gave it to me for free since i sent them 5 referrals, who, btw have NOT GOTTEN JOBS EITHER. I made an appointment with These guys so I could update my resume. I had called a few other places and they were all able to do it with very little information. I spoke with Frank he talked with me and ask what I was looking for and what level position I wanted. I then talked with Gary he interviewed me so he could get the correct information for my resume. This was the only place that would meet in person. after they finished my resume I started to send them out. What I noticed is I had a call back about 90% of the time. I first made an appointment with AAA McKinstry Summer 2017 for my free consult on how to improve my resume. I was not looking for employment but wanted to see what my options were in regards to revamping and updating my Personal CV. I had a recruiter run my AAA McKinstry resume through ATS and it had very poor results. I found a new resume writing service who created a resume at 1/4 of the cost. I sent out 10 resumes and landed interviews with 8 potential employers. I am not a competitor, just a unsatisfied customer who got ripped off.
