We called two companies; both responded promptly and courteously. The other company said it would be several weeks before they could obtain and install a stair lift. Harmony happened to have one on hand that had been used only briefly; the price would be VERY good; and they could install it the same week. A no-brainer level decision. The stair lift was installed promptly and well. It's been functioning flawlessly. The people we interacted with at Harmony have been responsive and helpful. I only had one day left of vacation so didn't want to pay a full week's cost plus delivery fee. Eric understood and just said I could have crutches for the last day of vacation if I could pick them up. I got a Lyft driver to do so, and otherwise got to use the crutches for free. Eric did this without any likely benefit for himself. There is essentially zero percent chance of me being a repeat customer. He didn't ask me to write a review in exchange for the free rental. Then, when I came to store the next day via Lyft, he asked where I was headed, and I explained I was going straight to the airport. He just gave me the crutches...and saved me a lot of inconvenience and discomfort in the airport, where I was wheeled to the gate but would have had a MUCH harder time, say, going to bathroom or getting to my seat on the plane without crutches. In a time of monopolistic big companies taking money out of communities, we need more businesses owners like Eric to stick around.

My uncle is 250 lbs and with my help, we were able to transport and load/unload the scooter in the back of our rental truck as we went between La Jolla and Los Angeles. The scooter kept charge for a very long time. We used it for a minimum of 5 hours every day and the power level never left green. Uncle enjoyed putting the scooter in "rabbit mode" which helped him to keep pace as I speed walked.
