The gentleman that owns the company is a great communicator, but he is in business with his son who is not a good communicator and has a terrible attitude. John was very responsive and answered my many questions before and during the project. He provided a detailed contract and followed the schedule. Let me start by saying I rarely post reviews ... and almost never give 5 stars (because everyone can do better, including me). I was looking for an exterior painting professional prior to the new roof and gutter install I had scheduled. John and I walked the property and determined what would and would not be painted. He made some suggestions regarding the type of paint on surfaces and the overall appearance. I appreciated that insight. It was fortunate that AAA Painting was able to accommodate my (roofing) schedule. We settled on a scope of the job. The crew (2 guys for my job) showed up on time, let me know what they were doing that day, and followed up at the end of the day. They let me know everyday of the project what was what. They did a GREAT job! I have a fair amount of hardscape and artificial turf surrounding the house that needed protection, and they made sure that paint didn't get "opps'd"! On the final walk-around I didn't detect any area that needed a touch-up -- and trust me 'I LOOKED'. Amazing!! On the final day/their clean-up day they realized that it was trash pick-up day in my neighborhood and, unbeknownst to me, they pulled my trash barrels to the curb for service prior to the trash trucks arriving. Above and beyond! I know this review is long. However, when you are spending a significant amount of money on a project it is important to read realistic reviews. (I have had some less than stellar experiences, so when I give a review it is because I believe you will receive the same level of service that I did with AAA Painting.) read more

He did a walk-through for 45 minutes and there was multiple confusions with him understanding/listening to me the customer. He said I would receive an estimate that evening, to my surprise I received an email the following day as follows: Hello Daniel. Thank you for the opportunity. I do need to pass. I hope you find someone to do a great job for you. John First of all, he started the meeting bad mouthing my neighbor that he had previously did an estimate for. Second, he didn't listen very well and seemed disturbed by my detailed questions. We had no intent on hiring him after the initial meeting. Worst paint job ever! We even had a 30 year painter tell us it was done wrong. They were in and out so fast and that was our first concern. The paint was painted so light on the walls you can actually see through it and it is impossible to touch up any marks or smudges. They sprayed the raised paneled walls in our family room and did not sand before painting and it raised the grain on the walls and it feels like sandpaper. Horrible! We are going to have to re-paint the whole house again and we paid them over $7000.00. And lastly, while painting they turned our brand new HAVC on and sucked up paint into the new unit and we had to have it professionally clean. I am sure there are better painters out there that stand behind their work with integrity and honesty. read more

I hired John and AAA Painting to paint the exterior of my house a couple of months ago, based on seeing their work on another house in my neighborhood. I got a quote from them, as well as others. They weren't the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. But I was comfortable paying a bit more because I had an opportunity to see their work first hand (neighbors house). The quality of the paining was very good. Great attention to detail. Good paint coverage and did all of the touch ups without me pointing them out. They were also very respectful of my property and yard (plants, grass), and cleaned up after themselves each day. However, the stucco crack repairs that they did were not to my satisfaction. They did the best they could by attempting to fix those problem areas, but their final result was not great. So John, wanting to remedy the situation, hired a stucco repair professional (on his own dime) to make it better. Although the full process took some time, the end result is a satisfied customer that is happy with how their house looks. My experience with AAA painting was horrendous. First the Owner John was a good salesman and I thought he was giving us a good deal BUT I WAS WRONG.!!! The painters left a mess with tape and brown cover paper around my home left trash inside my home. Than as I inspected the paint job I noticed the painters painted over cable wires and screws didn't even bother to remove or even call us to ask if we wanted our cable wires painted over. My brand new french doors have paint on the glass. Don't waste your time or money. After I was done with John and told him about the messy paint job they did and how the colors were not even close to what I had picked he says "well I will paint again but for more $$$" are u kidding me I wanted him and his lousy company out of my home.
