BSC painting was the best price and great service to paint the exterior of my home. I would recommend them to anyone needing house painting.

This week I hired BSC to paint my house. It had not been painted in over 20 years, so I figured I had nothing to lose in choosing a small local company. Bob was very courteous, professional and listened to all of my concerns and said he could get it done (2,660 sqr feet) In three days. This included patching all cracks, replacing huge spots of missing stucco, and fixing minor damage such as rusted metal under the cracked stucco. I am shocked with the results. Bob was true to his word and arrived every day on time and ready to work. He fixed everything that he said he would and the results are outstanding to say the least. The house does not look like it was repainted, it looks newly constructed. In the future, I will contact Bob for all of my painting/stucco needs. I very highly recommend BSC painting and strongly urge you to consider them for your needs. read more

Bob was initially responsive during the estimate process, though already delayed. We signed a contract on 11/19/25 for a $6,000 interior paint job (entire house walls and baseboards, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity, and hall shelving). He estimated 5-6 days with a crew. That never happened. He delayed the start date, left early (often around 1:00 PM), and frequently worked alone despite promising a crew. There is no quality to his work, there is paint on the floor, he did not remove items like the toilet paper holders, etc so as you can imagine it looks like a 5 year old painted our house. On day two, he demanded additional money mid-job ($500 labor + $125 paint) claiming the color required extra coats--something any experienced painter should account for before quoting, especially after seeing the color during the estimate. This was not disclosed anywhere in the contract. Work quality was poor from the start: Nail holes were not filled Paint coverage was uneven Prep work was minimal He stated he does not repair drywall until the end which based on how it looks is poor practice. When questioned, Bob became rude and defensive. The cabinet work was the worst part. Cabinets were not removed from hinges, poorly prepped, and sprayed improperly, causing visible paint runs on nearly every cabinet. Even after sanding and repainting, the defects remain. Despite missed days, short work hours, lack of crew, and subpar results, Bob still complained that it took five coats to cover the walls and had the nerve to ask "what, no tip?" at final payment. We are now forced to hire another professional to fix his mistakes. If you value professionalism, honesty, and quality workmanship, do not hire Bsc Painting. read more

I saw a advertisement on Facebook for this company and decided to contact him. I told him I saw the offer for 800 dollars to paint a house but I just wanted to get my bathroom done for now. A simple misunderstanding resulted in him being really unprofessional. He said that it was the starting price which I understand but the post made it seem like it was a special. He then proceeded to insult me by saying "sorry you can't read" I now know why he's so desperate for customers. He has horrible customer service. Why would you try to insult a potential customer? He then said he would contact the police because I had something negative to say on his Facebook post. I'm sure the police have actual crime to solve, but Mr. Crane seems to think that the police are there to help him because his feelings got hurt. There is other businesses out there that are professional. Avoid using this guy. I saw on another review that someone didn't respond to him right away due to a family emergency and he acted in a way that really uncalled for. read more

I waited a few weeks before writing this review as I wanted to be thoughtful and precise in my comments. This is a small family business and is dependent on positive reviews to grow. My review is 3-sided - the work that was done, the value & cost of the work, and the contract/business process. The work that was done was excellent. We were very happy with Bob's work and he did it quickly and thoroughly. BSC was responsive and got on-site quickly and was punctual. A 'sight-unseen' quote started at $3000, escalated to $3750 after a visual (totally fine) but then increased as we added scope for additional doors, stair railing, and more ceilings. Total ended up being $4950 for an 1800 sq ft house when complete, which was consistent with other quotes we received. The contracting process seemed a bit haphazard. I don't think there was any malintent, just an approach to their business that isn't as professional as I would've expected. It's definitely informal, which is okay with me, but there were some late night calls, repeatedly asking for payment and jumping to conclusions about peoples' trustworthiness without context surprised me. Perhaps they've been burned before by someone, but the urgency around payment and limited method of payment (cash/cashier's check only) wasn't an experience I was used to. If you want to use BSC, go for it, their work is good. Just go in with eyes wide open so you know what you're getting yourself into w.r.t. to the business approach that they've chosen to take. I will add that our property management was also involved - which likely added to the complexity of the business engagement. read more

I was genuinely disappointed with my experience with BSC Painting due to the disrespectful communication I encountered. On Thursday at 6:48pm, We received a text message describing our quote and asking if we had contacted a handyman for the work we needed done prior to painting our home. The message indicated the quote was good for a week. We had a family emergency this weekend and had not had the opportunity to respond or contact a handyman. We received a message Saturday at 6:23pm stating "thanks for the response." I responded that we encountered a family emergency and no longer needed their services due to the lack of professionalism. The business replied "Please also be considerate of others time. You could if responded either way. It's rude, and I di not care to work with you it's a choice on both our parts. You think we're desperate we're not." Customer service should make clients feel welcomed, not frustrated or belittled. This level of disrespect left a bad impression. I completely understand follow up is necessary on both parts. However, life does happen and that should be understood. read more

I was in a bind and needed my condo painted quickly. I was very impressed by the aggressive pricing I saw on Craigslist. Once they showed up the price was way more than advertised and I provided all of the paint. these guys came in and out very quickly I was amazed at how fast they completed the job; although it was to a point to where it was rushed. I expected A plus work on my condo and I got B level work in my opinion. My kitchen ceiling coverage was less than satisfactory; the coverage was weak and you can see streaks and uneven coverage. They missed cutting in the ceiling around some of the can light fixtures. And my master bedroom, the cutting in towards the ceiling was poor and you can see white through the gray. Overall I feel like they overcharged and underperformed. I think they made out like bandits on my project. The owner Bob messaged me after this review "show me the work order you piece of $hi*". The work was done Dec 2017 and I should have posted the review earlier so my bad. It always bothered me how they did sub-standard work and I paid them a premium. The crew smelt strong of cigarettes and they had a separate guy come in and roll the walls. BEWARE Bobs wife sets the appointments and she has a major attitude. I guess they get alot of work with the attractive bait and switch CL Ad and can over charge and give sass also. I just wish I wasn't in a bind and would have used a better company. This is the second house we've had them paint and we are have been very pleased both times. Not only are they affordable, but Bob doesn't cut any corners and cheap you on quality. He is very thorough and has great attention to detail. The first house was painted about 5 years ago and is just a couple miles stay; it still looks freshly painted. After canvassing several companies and recommendation from our neighbor BSC Painting Co. came out ahead with their fair pricing. We were initially quoted a price for 4 colors over the phone. Cynthia had pics of the house "googled" to get an idea of what they would be working with. However, when Bob came to the house it dropped to 3 colors for the price I was originally quoted. He did explain in detail why the price change. Nevertheless, Bob was professional from the start of the job til the completion. He had initially quoted us about 5-6 days for the job but instead was done in about 2.5 days. His work was excellent and our house looks many years "younger" with an enhanced curb appeal.
