PERFECT! From the quote(12 hrs after I called) to the job which required a crane. Doug communicated the schedule and kept it. The crew was so helpful and polite, they even did some extra work at a moments notice. Finished on time and the clean up was unbelievable, blew off the roof and on the ground not a pine needle or any saw dust in sight. Took out 1 GIANT split top pine and 5 other large pines in 2 days ( they completed it in less than a week from his quote). Everyone else iI had spoken with said its a big job, I cant do it right away, thats going to be really expensive, not sure how to get that out of there, etc. These guys price and performance was sooo good. I called AAA quality tree service and made an appointment for them to stop by my house and give me a free quote to remove a tree. The person I spoke with said he was the owner. He said he would be at my house the same day around 5pm. I was very pleased by this! Unfortunately he never showed up or called me to explain why he didn't show!! I had waited around for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and still nothing! I left a few messages asking him to call me and let me know if he still planned on giving me a "free"quote..... No call was ever returned. I called the next day and asked what had happened and was immediately hung up on! I would not recommend these clowns to my worst enemy! read more

Had this guy out to give us a quote on pruning and/or cutting down a huge tree in our yard. First, he didn't even know what kind of tree it was... then he told us that you don't prune 'this type' of tree (the one that 1 minute before he didn't know what it was) because it just made it bushier. Told us to go to a website and look up how to do it ourselves. Big help. read more

Be warned--they make appointments with you and then don't show, and don't call. We need some trees trimmed, a good size job, and contacted this company based on the great Yelp review here and arranged a time that he'd meet us out at our property to give a quote to trim some trees. He never showed. I waited around a half hour then left. Later that day, I couldn't believe he still didn't call or anything, so I left a message on the company voice mail, so we could reschedule. Never heard a peep back. Unless he's dead on the road somewhere, I expected SOME explanation. How rude. Business must be really good to treat potential customers this way. read more

I called AAA Quality Tree Service on a Sunday evening and Monday morning they were out to give me an estimate and a week later to do work. They removed a very large and old oak tree. The tree crew came out early in the morning and in a day and a half removed the tree and trimmed some other oaks we had that were in serious need of care. These guys were GREAT! On time, on budget and a great crew who did a terrific job! After the first two bids we received we thought we'd have to abandon the project, but AAA was one third the cost of the high bid and did more in less time. They cleaned up when they were done. First, this review shows me in SF but I am in Auburn. Alright, they were recommended by a neighbor who used to do tree work around here. Owner comes out and gives estimate to trim up a few big pines next to house and power drop. Seemed great until they showed up. Wouldn't touch the branches around the power drop (the part PG&E does NOT take care of). Owner came out after a couple weeks of calls and told us to call PG&E. Really? Damn dude, I called you because I couldn't get to this part and you AGREED to do it up front! Now can't get him to come out to take care of it. I guess this was a great business at one time but now no way will I ever call again. read more

Arrived right on time with all the required equipment including a 100 ft crane, huge chipper and lots of chain saws. Fast and professional with a touch of "down home" niceness! I would highly recommend this company for all tree work. Our old oak tree split off one huge limb that crushed our green house and other yard items. They took down the rest of the limbs for us and cut all into salable 16" rounds. Hard working guys who really knew what they were doing. Thanks again AAA, we appreciate your efforts. read more
