I had a few hours of spontaneous self care time. I've been having severe neck, shoulder and back pain. Normally go to med spas for my massages but I was a bit desperate for relief and was looking for something flexible on time, quick and inexpensive. I've heard so many great things about this business and I was around the corner so I called and asked if they had chair massages and how long the wait was. The lady was kind and mentions the times/prices and said there was no wait. Arrived around 1120am they were not busy. They have a log sheet in the front desk. You choose the massage type, minutes, pace and intensity. I had a chair, 40 mins, slow placed, level 4 intensity. I was taken to the massage chair after I filled out the sign in sheet. My masseur was nice. It was my first chair massage. Later during the massage I realized since my neck was also a problem the chair massage provided no neck support and it might have contributed a bit more to my previous pain from the pushing and pressure movements from the massage. I felt he did more of a deep tissue massage. If that was a level 4 I'm curious as to what a level 7 is. I felt I received the opposite of the slow placed I had requested. I definitely felt I was kung fu-ed by his elbows. Sore for a few days and felt there's not much relief from my initial pain. Perhaps a 30min instead of a 40min massage would have been sufficient with that type of speed and intensity. He gave me a cold water bottle after. They also changed $1.00 card fee. Overall solid 3.5. I would consider coming back and giving them another try. Perhaps choosing a different method and changing my intensity to a lower level. Stopped by with my boyfriend again and honestly, I feel like the experience is much different when you get a man as your masseuse vs a woman. Also, the prices have gone up. Last time we came, we both had women. The experience was excellent and our only regret was that we didn't ask for a longer massage! This time, however, we were both kinda struggling through the massage. Instead of being relaxing, the massage caused us both to wince on and off for our whole 40 minutes. I did speak up and ask the masseuse to go lighter, which definitely helped. We did, however, get our arms pulled back, to the sides, forward, etc. which felt like a really uncomfortable stretch. I got my back popped which, I'm sure is good, but the way it was done was lowkey painful. If I wanted to get popped I would've gone to my chiropractor!! On another note, I asked for the massage to be slow on the sign in sheet and it was very much the opposite. My favorite go to spot for a foot massage. Most places massage neck, arms, etc...in addition to massaging the feet but here if you request a foot massage you only get your feet massaged. With I like about it most is the same masseuses work there and they are all consistently good and professional. My wife, mother inlaw and myself are frequent customers of this place and usually we have great experiences. Me and my wife went here just an hour ago, and she had a great experience with her massage specialist but mine was horrible! He was very very rough with the body massage and was even rougher with the foot massage, he even thought it was funny when i told him to stop it hurts! And I can take some pain, so he was going pretty rough! And I honestly don't know who to complain to because there is a huge language barrier with all of the staff. The people are very friendly and while they don't speak a lot of English, we communicate just fine. The place is always clean and neat, and they give you a complimentary water before you leave. I've been coming here for years and over the last few years it seems the systematic protocol they used has dwindled. Some of the masseurs are not trained at all and literally use no technique at all. Who wants a fast and light #1 tickle? When you request more pressure it doesn't happen. It was almost like a joke. I usually visit this Massage place when I'm in fresno and treat my family to a 40-minute full body Massage. At only $20 for 40 minutes, it is a bargain considering the quality of the overall massage. I've requested a 60-minute massage a few times but quickly realized that they do such a thorough job that 40 minutes is more than enough. You sign in and state how long and what type of massage you want on the sheet. Most importantly, you state how much pressure you want from 1 to 7. My parents always get the 7 pressure and they are never disappointed because the staff there really know what they are doing and apply just the right amount of pressed that you request. You keep your clothes on and they wear these gloves that are of cloth material, which is noticeable but it doesn't matter because they still get into your sore spots. My boyfriend works at a desk and has major neck and shoulder issues. Although the staff don't speak a lot of English, all my bf has to do was point to where he wanted them to focus and they were able to do just that, which he said they did a thorough job. No one I bring here is ever disappointed and so I will keep coming here as long as their prices are reasonable and the service is great. Warning: we came here as a group of 4 yesterday on a Saturday after having lunch at around 2 pm. Our party of four went in at different times over a 2 hour period for 40 minute massages and there were about 15 people in groups of 2-5 who came in while we were there. Great Massages for an inexpensive price! Trust Me.. if you need a back or foot or shoulder, etc massage, AAA is definitely worth a try. If you are unsure, or this is your first time getting a massage, going to AAA relaxing stations is a good place to go because they do not do skin on skin massages (which are also nice) but customers do not disrobe and all the massage tables and chairs are in one big open space. If you're looking for an oil massage you will have to try another place and spend starting at double the price you'll get here. There are times when I like to splurge and get the full oil massage treatment but most times I go here and get equally good and strong massages. Because most of the masseuses are Chinese and some speak some English you may have some trouble communicating but be persistent and let them know if it's too hard or you want harder or another spot. They are very helpful and courteous, despite any language barrier. When you enter you have to write your name(s) down on the waiting list and the menu allows you to select the type of massage- full body, foot, combo(of those two), or chair massage, which mostly focuses on the neck and shoulders, arms and back. But stronger and more thorough massages are done on the tables. They even have support bars (for the girls mostly) to walk on your back if your up for it. You then select the time 30, 40, 60 min etc and the level of pressure you like. Note- You can always ask them to push softer if it seems too hard after you begin. * I recommend getting the 1 Hour Combo. There are a few convenient locations and all managed by the same family. Not a great experience. The entire time i had my foot massage the guy doing it was laughing and pointing at my legs and feet to the lady next to him. They are noisy and unprofessional. I LOVE this place. I'm now trying to do it at least once a week. The full body massage has helped my tight/tired lower back more than anything else. I don't need the foofy oil slick massage with smelly stuff burning somewhere... And I really don't want conversation during my massage. No chance of that unless you speak Chinese. But these people are polite, and whom ever you get for the massage, they are pretty equal in their massages. I used to do the chair massage but now I'm the lay-down-get my lower back kind of girl. If I could give no stars I would. I've been going to AAA MOLESTATION Station for a few years. Never had an issue with the masseuses ever, until today. They have hired some new faces that I had not seen before. I got the new guy. Every chance he had during the massage, he dry humped the hell out of my head. He stuck his junk in my hand on several occasions as well. I kept moving my hand under me and he would rub my arm again and pull my hand back out. A minute later he was rubbing himself in my hand. Why, if you are rubbing my mid back, is your junk thumping on my head? Why wouldnt you position yourself differently like every masseuse does? I asked him to stop and I told him to stop rubbing my back. Which was perfect timing as he said my time was up. No one in there speaks English so you cant speak up and dont bother trying to call and speak to them as no one answers. I was then told, "No. 30 minutes only." Ok, better than nothing? I should have left then. Guess the middle of the pressure scale I selected meant the pressures would average out over the next...God, how much time is left? I was already grateful that I was chopped down to 30 minutes because I'd be getting out of there a lot sooner. But wait, she wasn't done! Up on the table she goes, and now she's walking the length of my body. While I've had this done before, this was not the same. Carefully placed steps? Nope. Slipping and falling off of me but trying to get back on and limber around with the grace of a defensive lineman? Yup! Ma'am! What are you doing up there?? This dub-step walking massage where you're trying to stand on my neck and my ankles is not normal. No, I do not want you to dig your heels into me in weird places where there's nothing to massage. That's bone. Spoiler alert, it won't relax. Yeah, I think you trying to use your toes to massage my neck when you aren't using it as a cul-de-sac to make a "graceful" u-turn to stomp to the other end of the table eliminated any semblance of "relaxation" at this station. And then to charge a bizarre amount that isn't listed on ANY of your price points listed wasn't completely sketchy at all *sarcastic eye roll*. The masseuse took us to our 'rooms' which had no doors or curtains, but had a view from the inside of a massage chair with a man being worked on about 10 ft away. I said to myself he and his male masseuse are going to watch us girls undress for free. I asked my masseuse, who speaks no English, "No curtains?" We left and went to Foot Reflexology. My husband ended up getting someone who knew what they were doing and I got the other end. I've been coming here for full body massage and foot massage for about 10 years now. Staff are very professional and friendly, they take their jobs seriously and provide very good services. Inside the place is very clean and organized. 40min of full body massage is $20, combination of full body and foot massage is $30. Its well worth it for me. I get stiff neck and shoulders often and they do a good job releasing the stiffness for me. Not to mention it's sooooo relaxing !!! Sometimes I fall asleep while getting a foot massage lol. When I wake up I'm covered with a blanket and my feet on top of an ottoman. They really take a good care of me :) When you are done with the massage , they give you a free bottle of water. You are fully clothed and they cover you with a big towel. This location can be pretty busy on the weekends and week nights. But it's well staffed so the wait isn't so bad. read more

My first time trying out this place. At first I was a little nervous about it. When you walk inside, there's a sign in sheet and you can choose what kind of massage you want and how long. Also, there is a monitor with the picture of the staff and timmer next to them that indicate how much they have before finishing the clients. Which I thought that was pretty cool.
