Sara was quick to immediately help us select our major vendors right after we booked our venue. In what would have felt like a sea of options, Sara narrowed down for us who the best vendors would be for our desired vibe and venue. Her institutional knowledge, vendor connections, and innate ability to see (and ultimately execute) the ambiance you want to create is uncanny. Sara's checklist of wedding tasks kept us on track so that we never felt stressed in what is inherently a stressful process, and she was with us every step of the way. Not only did we have countless phone calls and zooms, but she also attended every floral, linen, band, lighting, and venue meeting (and even my last dress fitting), always knowledgeably answering my questions and suggesting new and creative ideas. She came up with the most amazing idea to line our venue's ceiling above the dance floor with twinkle lights and made it work with her connections to her lighting vendor. She had "other brides" she was tending to, and I understood. However, when my time did come, she dropped the ball on the following tasks: -communicating with my bridal/groom party in a timely and professional fashion -arranging the table numbers (many complaints from guests) -transporting my wedding portrait to the venue without hassling me -family pictures with bride & groom at reception -communicating with respect to stressed out family members (M.O.B & cousins) *and most importantly, failing to hire a back up assistant so she wasn't overwhelmed. Her assistant cancelled last minute, understandable. But this is where professionalism plays a big part. As a person who is not in the industry, even I know it is common sense to have someone on standby for such hiccups. She was accommodating to me when it came to my nerves, however that not the only thing I needed accommodations for. A little tip, a client never wants to see her Coordinator feeling bombarded or flustered. This experience was not worth our money.

Today for some reason the soup wasn't great. The rice was hard. The sandwich I ordered was not good. Way too much mayonnaise and very little in the way of ham or Swiss. My biggest complaint is with the gravy -- it's loaded with salt and it never used to be. The salt makes it inedible. I'm really surprised that no one has noticed. You can't order anything with gravy because you won't be able to eat it unless you like so much salt on your food that that's all you're going to taste.
