Called to get a correction on a tenant's renter's insurance. They spoke in Vietnamese and had a difficult time speaking in English. They directed me to call their 800 number, which I did. I had a question, but they just hung up on me. I recommend if you plan to do business with the public, hire people or at least one person that can communicate in English. I switched all my insurance policies to AAA in March this year after reaching out to Claire Mallamace. OMG talk about the best customer service I've ever gotten from an insurance agent. Claire was so quick to get in touch with me to provide me with quotes for auto, home, and earthquake insurance coverage. She is so savvy and so smart and long story short, she saved me approximately $1,600 per year in insurance premiums!! SIGN ME UP!!! AND, my coverage is better than what I had with my previous insurance company! It was a win for sure! The best part is the insurance office offers so many DMV services onsite. It's great because not only are they super fast, you don't have to wait in line for hours at the DMV!!! Claire is such a nice, personable, and humble person. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and treats us as she would want to be treated. Update: looking at the registration, whatever fastrak I supposedly owe was included in the registration fee that I paid so she literally just didn't want to give me the tags. Not sure what her name was but she's a blonde girl who helped me. Instead of explaining anything nicely to me, she just kept denying everything with short answers and a rude tone. I came in to pay for my registration and was told I need to pay for my membership to get it in person. Okay, let's do that then, even though I haven't had to do this in the past with my previous vehicles. I pay for the membership and the registration and she hands me a piece of paper that looks like the registration. Then she says, "that's for the fastrak you owe." I'm like what? Then she rudely repeats herself and I'm like I don't owe anything for fastrak unless it's this issue with my previous car I traded in at the beginning of the year. Then she says, again, very rudely, to check the VIN. At this point I say forget it give me my money back! I'll just go pay it online on the DMV website. Now I have to wait for my money to come back, which in of itself is an annoyance! Rude employee, no compassion or customer service whatsoever. Avoid! read more

I go to DMV side at AAA to pay for my car registration or get the temporary handicap placard. It beats waiting at the other DMV offices for hours. Saves me a lot of time. I never have an appointment, I just walk and get helped quickly. Depending on how many people are waiting to get helped, the most I ever waited was 20 minutes. Service is always great here. The person who helped me a few times is very efficient. He has a nice attitude compared to other times I did stuff in the DMV side. Once I'm called up, it only took me about 2-3 minutes for me to get my card registration. read more

Went in to AAA this morning to get my registration for my trucks paid and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. It was awesome.

Quick and easy. I've been using the AAA services at the Brokaw location for years even though it is out of the way for me. This time I decided to see if there was a location near me. This one popped up. Turns out it's been her for co about seven years! The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to get my vehicle tags within 10 mins of checking in without an appointment. I'm definitely going to this location for my AAA needs. read more

There's a bit of a wait if you come during their lunch hours (around 1-2 pm). It's faster if you make an appointment during that time. All that said, it's pretty fast for DMV services if all you're doing is paying for your registration. But be prepared to wait if the person in front is doing other DMV stuff. read more

We went to the Almaden Expressway AAA Office to get details about the Norwegian Cruise (Ship-Dawn) The travel counselor Jessica Tran was not knowledgeable and worse, extremely rude. She persistently argued that the cruise line doesn't operate, and such a tour doesn't exist, despite my pointing out that it does. I am a former travel agent, so I had done my research. This counselor didn't want to listen. She said if another company offers this service, we are "welcome to go." Horrible agent, and inept service. read more

I went to the Capitol Expressway AAA office today to renew my vehicle registration and to change the credit card that my membership fee was scheduled to be automatically charged to. I went st 2:00 and completed my business in less than 10 minutes. I only waited about one minute before my name was called. I had my sticker and new registration and was on my way. The clerk was efficient and pleasant to talk to. If you are a AAA member, I recommend going to an AAA office for car registration transactions. The service is free for members. read more

There is a problem with customer service. I brought a customer to quote for a house insurance. The agent was very rude she said that I'm not married to this man who wants to insured his house. What is that got to do with relationship with insuring a house? Also he can not insured his house because he's car insurance is not with AAA . Instead of thanking me for referring customer , The worst part he is going to call the security to kick me out the office. Sticking bamboo skewers under your fingernails. Coating your body in honey and standing on a fire ant hill. Going to the DMV. All equally painful. Skip the line, skip the DMV attitude, and do your DMV business here. I had to get a replacement car registration sticker due to the DMV's own inept level of service, and AAA got me in and out in 10 minutes. The lady had all of the forms filled out for me once I told her my issue, and all I had to do was present my ID and old registration and I was in heaven. They can save you the DMV pain, but check first because they do not offer all DMV services. read more

I instead got a witty remark about it being a "new generation" and to use the internet or call during regular business hours during the week to conduct the business I needed. My plates were stolen and I feared of long lines in the DMV and waiting at least 6 weeks wait for my plates to arrive. All was done at the AAA office in 15 minutes from start to finish. Got my new plates right there and then. Just the time saved is worth the membership. The attendance was understanding and she even filled out my forms. read more

Lady in the front did not have patience and said she wouldn't be able to explain the insurance coverage on my vehicles. This place is so clutch!! Olivia was so patient and helpful. I came in a nervous wreck because my license plate was stolen and I wasn't sure how to navigate the entire DMV process. She calmly explained the process to me, gave me new plates, and did a same day transfer! The process was so smooth and fast. Olivia was professional, understanding, and guided me through the plethora of forms. I honestly didn't know that triple A had such amazing DMV services! I highly recommend to everyone to come here - maybe not everyone because then the lines would be as long as the real DMV. I got passport photos done here. It was quick and easy and no appointment necessary. Staff were pretty friendly. I had looked up charges for this on AAA's website and it said passport photos for AAA Plus members are free. I was surprised to be charged $9.84 for this but I didn't question it, thinking I must have read it wrong. I double checked the website info and it did say it was free. So I called AAA and was told in California all AAA members pay $9.84 for passport photos. I think it's unfair for Californians to pay when other AAA members get this for free. But this is not the fault of this office. It's a California AAA problem. read more

Both the lady taking my passport photo is passport photo and the cashier processing the transaction were extremely pleasant and I was in-and-out within 10 minutes. My wife and I scheduled a newborn car seat adjustment appointment about a month out scheduled for April 18 at 1000 . The day of the appointment we arrived about 9 minutes early . At first when we told the reps we were here for our car seat adjustment appointment , they told us the only employee qualified for that training was in a meeting and for us to wait . After about 12 minutes of waiting , we asked again about the status of our appointment . The employees then claimed that they did not see anything scheduled in their system , while at the same time my wife was getting text notifications in her phone for the appointment confirmation . My wife showed the employees the text notifications , and the staff at AAA still could not provide us a valid reason or excuse to the miscommunication issue in regards to our appointment . After 26 minutes of waiting , the employee came out from the meeting to let us know that her qualification expired and that appointments are only done virtually . Why is this service being advertised when no one is capable or qualified ? It is unfortunate that businesses such as AAA off Capitol are content with subpar performance . It is apparent that that AAA staff and leadership are accustomed to performing at the bare minimum and are satisfied with poor work ethic . read more

I spoke with a professional, customer service oriented, gentleman by the name of Marco who was extremely helpful, and directed me on how to find a special form I needed for a temporary disabled persons placard.
