Woah! I love local businesses that are efficient and easy! Mr Thanh Ho was amazing. He replied to my message on yelp quickly for a notarization request I had. Gave me a time slot suitable to me and I was in and out of there in under 3 mins I had one NOC to sign and send overseas and it was all done super quickly. I shouldn'tve recieved service as I'd arrived with minutes to spare to 5:00 pm but Don was just plain accommodating as he worked with me anyway and helped me complete a livescan while maintaining utmost care to detail with paperwork, receipts, and information given. Thach Ho was very helpful and informative! I had never had a job where I had to have a background and fingerprint check done so it was all new to me. The place is in the house with the State Farm sign outside, parking is in the back. Todd is taking all necessary COVID-19 precautions in providing Live Scan fingerprinting services during this time. Service is by appointment only, with time between each client for cleaning. Client is met outside to gather form and required form of ID, and time spent inside was less than five minutes. Payment via contactless ApplePay was quick and easy, with receipt sent electronically. I would recommend this service to others needing fingerprinting during the pandemic and will keep them in mind for future needs. read more

This was easy! I called in to check availability and pricing. I was told that it would cost $25 plus whatever fee the "FBI and Department of Justice" was charging to process. My total cost was $74 but I know that would have been the cost elsewhere and the other places didn't want to answer my questions. They gave me an appointment later in the day and reminded me to bring in my form. Sometimes parking can be a pain on Lincoln Ave but they have parking in the back of the office. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. read more

The reviews speak for themselves. Mr. Thanh Ho took the time to thoroughly explain the process, as well as the fee that I was being charged for fingerprinting. If you are looking for great customer service and need your fingerprints done in a pinch, schedule an appointment with Total Live Scan. Walk-ins are not accepted so be sure to plan at least an hour ahead. read more

I had to get fingerprinted for a job (within 24 hrs) and the sheriffs department doesn't do same day. We were told about Total Live Scan & Fingerprinting. I called @10 am and was there by 11:30! The entire process was quick, easy, and painless! Tom was nice and texted me appointment confirmation, address, & where to park. I even got a text to let me know that I was cleared! Overall a very easy quick process and I would use them again for my fingerprinting needs! read more

I had gone to a postal office back in February to get my fingerprinting done. After four months of continuous waiting, my fingerprints had still not been received by the fbi or boj, resulting in my licence being delayed. After those months of frustration. It was recommended to just find a different fingerprinting place, to speed up the licence process. Therefore, looking online I encountered Total Live Scan and quickly called to set an appointment. He was able to fit me in on the same day within 20 mins of calling. As I was on my lunch hour and this place was 20 mins from my work, I asked how long the process would take. He stated that if I had the application ready and filled out, it would take around five mins. Well, said and done. It was a very quick process in comparison to the previous place I had gone where it had taken at least 30 mins to get both hands scanned. 2-3 days later he sent a message stating my background was cleared while the previous place had taken more than 4 months, and to this date still haven't heard from. Shortly after, I was notified that my license was approved. The lady from the board had stated, "this was the quickest she had ever seen". Due to this, I am immensely thankful for the quick and easy process from Total Live Scan. read more

Total Live Scan does fingerprinting and Live Scan. Total Live Scan is certified and approved by the Department of Justice to provide live scan fingerprinting services throughout California. We are conveniently located and the entire process takes only minutes. We will roll your fingerprints and then electronically transmit your electronic fingerprints to the Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI, and the Child Abuse Central Index (CACI), if applicable. The process takes about 15 minutes and our fingerprinting rolling fee is $40 (Additional DOJ and/or FBI fees may be collected and passed to these agencies. These fees are charged by all Live Scan facilities).

That's where it is. Once you walk in the process is nice and smooth. I already had my forms with me and they had hand sanitizer + this special lotion so that they could get your fingerprints done. The lotion had a bit of a tacky feel to it so I couldn't wait to get it off after-- I ended up going to Starbucks just to wash off when I was done. The actual finger printing process was fast and the gal took each of my fingers and pressed them onto the machine so they could get accurate pictures. I got my results back by the end of the next day. So fast! Like someone else said, this place is a little pricier at $40 but if you need to get these done, you shouldn't have to wait more than a day.

She originally intended to work this job as a part time job for fun but due to how well it was going, it ended up becoming a lot bigger than maybe she intended it to be? It's amazing to hear her story and how resourceful she was. She chose to advertise through yelp because it was free, she chose to use her name in the business name because it helped avoid a specific issue, she bought the finger printing machine for cheaper from a previous job connection, etc. It was fascinating hearing her talk about her business. Her eyes glow up talking about it and you can tell she's very sharp and business minded. I originally came here because I heard the finger printing process was fast and it was. Her husband knew all the techniques like using lotion to help get a better print. Or also fun interesting facts like if you wash your hands too much it could cause a faulty finger print and you have to return later when you wash your hands less which comes often from nursing jobs and such. Eileen was such an interesting individual, I did not expect to come out learning valuable lessons. She's a people's person and she's very good at customer service but she also uses that because she's genuinely curious about other customers. She learns a lot herself from talking to other people who swing by and she passes on a lot of the wisdom. The most inspiring lesson or value she was talking to me was how she told me to follow my passion but to do it in a resourceful or creative way. She told me that you can be a professional baseball player but maybe that does not work out. If you're still passionate about baseball, you can find jobs around baseball you just have to look, explore, and be creative. So then when we figure out how to monetize our passions, we don't have to work a day in our life. Maybe this is simple common sense and that its something very hard to do, but I think it made more of an impact to me because of how resourceful, clever, and creative Eileen was in starting a business. I'm sure with her mind she knows how to think out of the box sometimes if your passion doesn't have a standard track or high demand or high profit and she'll make it work. You'll notice Eileen is very sharp for a reason because she's simply curious. She showed me her ipad that she always carries around in case her phone dies, because she's always googling information of why this why that. She talked about always asking why and thinking about why. You can tell with her mindset she would've been successful in anything she wanted to do. She was already successful before she started the business and is very inspiring. I would not have expected to get such personal and enlightening conversation from fingerprinting. I've had fingerprinting experience take forever because they can't get the finger print dark enough but they were fast in the process and also fast in sending it out . Please come to this mom and pop business and make sure to talk to Eileen!

These people are awesome! They are nice, friendly and very QUICK! I needed to do a Livescan and if needed to be done immediately. I called total live scan and was able to make an appointment right away. They did my fingerprints in less than 5 mins with no hassle and received a text shortly after that my fingerprinting was completed by DOJ and FBI. These people are professional and super nice.
