John was very professional (as always) and we agreed on a 5' by 10' storage unit. We showed up the morning of Jan. 17 and both John and Conni were packing!! We naturally asked what they were packing for. Turns out John's last day there is 29 January -- the new owners had given him 2 weeks notice for his job *and* the home on site that he and Conni share! My wife and I were both horrified by this -- John and Conni are the 2 reasons we come there and trust the business!! It started with speaking with Steve (One of the owners) about four months ago, as I informed him that I was moving 300 miles to town suddenly and desperately needed a place to store all of my stuff. Steve promised to have a specific size reserved for me, and if they didn't have a unit available when I moved down, that he would let me use his personal garage. That wasn't necessary though, as Steve made sure there was a space available (With about six hours notice from me, once I finally discovered when I was moving), and handled all paperwork over the phone as I was in the middle of a five-hour drive, leaving a lock in the unit because he knew I'd be getting there late in the evening and didn't have a fitting lock. My storage unit was spotless, the entire storage complex was/is spotless, and he was completely understanding and provided incredible customer service when I needed emergency access to my unit at 5am the next week. I've spoken to Steve a couple of times since. He was kind enough to remind me of my due date after I missed payment two months later, and didn't charge me a late fee because they're good people. I just finished a phone call with Steve's son, Mike, who provided equally great customer service and was incredibly accommodating to my requests. I'm removing my things from their unit, only because I've found a place to live in Austin. I would gladly drive back to Buda to continue using their services, because of the amazing customer service I've received. There's no need to storage unit shop. Call them today. Calling and talking to any other company is a waste of time.

I got my lock code for gate 1234. I open the chain-link gate. Drove down to my outside locker (all lockers are outside), new doors have been installed so it was easy to open. Inside was my own lock with 2 keys. I had the combination lock put on by location. Removed the building lock and put it a lock box outside. Now I have my own key lock. The unit was very clean and tall for stacking up high. If you are looking for a place that is very reasonable in cost, outside drive up clean storage, and do it all online. Stash N Go is a Winner

They keep the property clean and it's been a while since someone has wrecked the entrance gate. I'm down to just a unit in the climate controlled area, but I'm not sure what climate controlled really means. It was crazy cold in there this winter. During the summer, it's tepid at best, certainly not too cool. Be aware if you need a strict temperature. The elevators can get a little janky too, but I've never been trapped in one.

The units look to be at least 8 ft tall with concrete walls. I got a 5x5 that looks more like 4x5 but the price is good and there are no hidden fees or taxes. Unlike public storage, you don't have to buy their lock. The units are not climate controlled. Access is 7am to 8pm daily through a secured gate system that shuts after every vehicle, so tailgating is not likely. Great location on Ben white near congress. The folks are friendly.
