Our unit was broken into and electronics, furniture, and boxes of belongings were stolen. Our…read moreoriginal lock which was a combination lock was cut, removed and then replaced with a keyed lock that was able to be purchased at the front office. When the staff went through the building on their regular checks, a lock was on the unit so a sticker signifying all was good was placed on the lock. All was far from good. I spoke with one of the assistants the day of and explained the situation to her. She was polite and said she'd tell her manager. A few days later, I spoke with the manager and asked her to review video footage. She said she would and would be in touch within a couple of day. It has been two weeks, and I'm still waiting for that call. When speaking with the manager, I asked about the keypads that used to be on the buildings so access was limited. She told me that she believed they were there in the past but didn't know what happened to them because she'd only been there a couple of months. We were also told that nothing like this had been reported anywhere else. It is hard to believe out of the many, many units there ours was the only one that was hit. I highly recommend that if you'd like to keep your belongings, find a place with better security and sense of accountability.
