I contacted AAA Tree Experts through Yelp's "request a quote" option and had a response from Heather within the Yelp app within 2 hours. She got a bit of information from me regarding the project, then passed along Greg's contact information and told me I'd be hearing from him that same day. Greg called shortly after, then we set an appointment that worked well for my schedule 2 days later. He even took care to mention the forecast to be sure I'd be alright meeting on a rainy day if needed. On the day of our appointment, I requested that he let me know when he was on his way, and he did so. Greg showed up on time, was very friendly, and gave me an in depth opinion on the health of the tree in question. He seemed very honest and trustworthy, and took time to explain any potential risks and what to look for on the tree in the future if it's health starts to change. He also provided me with a few ballpark quotes if I ever did choose to remove it. I will absolutely be calling AAA Tree Services if I need any other tree needs met. I searched for reputable tree removal services, and contacted AAA Tree Experts to schedule a free quote. They came out to look at two trees I need removed, both are leaning and close to falling. AAA left me hanging for more than two weeks without a quote. I took off time from work for their "free" quote, but they did not have the professionalism to follow up. I finally had to call them to ask when I would see a quote, and they informed me they decided not to do my job because they did not like it, and I would not get a quote. Completely unprofessional and I guess not so expert after all, apparently they are not able to remove "any" tree. Don't waste your time with this business, they do not deserve high BBB and Angie's list ratings. The good ratings must be fake. read more

We hired AAA to remove 2 maples and a bradford pear, to mulch the trees but leave some firewood, and to trim overhang. The operations manager gave us a very reasonable estimate with a "not-to-exceed figure." The crew that arrived were on time and professional. They identified additional areas that needed pruning, discussed those with us, and did those at no extra charge...actually quite a bit of work in addition to what was bid. They cleaned up very well after themselves and were a delight to work with..obviously very knowledgeable. Tate Way and Lin Racom were very professional and knowledgeable. Tree branches were pressing into our house and/or dangerously close and trees needed pruning of dead branches and thinning where it had gotten too thick. I had a 60' tree come down a few day ago. I reached for estimates from several of the larger tree removal companies in town. Greg from AAA came over within a few hours. He gave me a great estimate which was much lower than 2 others. And he scheduled the work to be done within a day of me giving him the go ahead. The crew showed up on time and was done in very quickly. The work was excellent. They did exactly what I needed, and after the clean up they did you can't even tell there was ever a problem. I'm leaving this review after using AAA not once but twice! When you submit for an estimate, they reach out within one business day. They arrive when they say they will for the estimate, and their prices are competitive. They were very communicative about scheduling. I worked with Greg this last time, and he was very realistic about time tables and following up with me to get me on schedule. His crew was polite and fast, and definitively made sure to clean up after they were finished. Want to give a big shout out to the crew from AAA Tree Services that took down 5+ trees (Sweet gum and Maple) and several smaller twig trees. They did a fantastic job. Another homeowner in our neighborhood had 3 very large trees taken down as well and the crew brought those trees over and along with all of ours - shred and mulched all of it to put into our natural area! They did a great job - very professional and really enjoyable to watch as they did their job! They know how to take down trees! Thanks to Shane and the rest of the crew - YOU ROCK!
