AAA Tree Service is excellent. Steve was prompt to provide an estimate and clearly explained why our birch tree needed to come down. He and his crew worked efficiently but with great care - protecting the surrounding garden, laying mats to avoid lawn damage, and leaving everything spotless. They had the tree removed, stump ground, and cleanup done in just a couple of hours. Professional, meticulous, and genuinely nice people. Avoid. New ownership or they no longer care about their residential customers only "big fish" (Commercial Clients such as condos). Their first job they did great, everything was as expected, but after I approved a new work order estimate they made excuses for over a year ("we're busy with a condo complex" etc.) and have become a customer service nightmare. They also seemingly lied about asking WE Energy to bury a line--something they had never (in 12 months) mentioned was needed for the service (likely just another excuse?)--and have had horrible communication even though they called and left voicemails many times promising the work would be completed soon with flimsy excuses for reasons for the delays. Nick and Steve were great the first time around, don't know what happened. read more

We had AAA take down 2 very tall pines in an awkward area between two properties. They did an awesome job very quickly and cleaned ALL the debris up. Very good price and absolutely no issues. Highly recommend!!! read more

Great service. Came out the next day and gave me an estimate. Price was very reasonable. Had my trees cut down the very next day. The guys were very helpful answering my questions. They took away all of the branches and cleaned up my yard. I would recommend AAA tree service. read more

Stay away! They quote a good price but do a sub-standard job. They never finished my stump grinding and will not return my phone calls. Total ghosting. Save yourself from major aggravation and hire someone more competent. read more

Scheduled a tree trimming at my girlfriend's house. Took an hour off of work to be home to pay him. Never showed up, never called. He wouldn't call us back. When my girlfriend finally got a hold of him, days later, he was rude to her as though she had done something wrong. If you're not going to make it to an appointment, a courtesy phone call is standard business practice. Would not recommend. Check out BBB rating first. I wish we had. read more

I had a big Ash tree that was splitting right down the middle and I needed it removed. Steve checked it out and gave me a good quote on the removal. It took some time to get on calendar but it also wasn't super urgent, plus it was right around the winter season. I called around and got a few more quotes, all of which were higher than AAA's, and it was around the same wait time to get it removed. All in all, once I was on the calendar everything went smooth. Power drop was scheduled with WE-Energies, they showed up early on the scheduled day and completed the job. Steve came back up a couple days later to grind down the stump, as promised. Overall, these guys were professional and did a great job. Glad to have done business with them. read more

O stars would be most accurate. Steve Trudell told me for the past 4 months (approx. March through June 2019) that he could not cut down the 2 trees i contracted with him to do. He said it was due to rain. After 4 months of telling me he was behind because of rain, i received a letter from him dated July 1, 2019: "...will not be able to perform the tree removal..." "...work to be done requires someone who is very skilled at climbing trees and when the quote was given we had such a person..." "Earlier this year he decided to seek different line of employment and our efforts to find a comparably skilled climber have been fruitless." STEVE TRUDELL NEVER TOLD ME THIS PRIOR TO THIS LETTER. All he and his staff ever told me the delay for removing my trees was due to rain. Very recently his staff told my boyfriend the same thing about rain. During those 4 months Steve Trudell would not return phone calls. I have extensive work to do in my yard but can't do anything until the trees are done. Steve Trudell of AAA Tree Service should have told me immediately when his climber quit that his company was incapable of removing trees instead of telling me the supposed delay was due to rain. There was never a delay--he said in writing he didn't have a skilled tree climber. I COULD HAVE SIGNED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND HAD THIS PROBLEM SOLVED ALREADY! read more

This Steve guy who owns this business is wound a bit tight.....He's done work here before, and his crews were always efficient and capable. He's rude and condescending, at least to me, and I wish I had read the BBB reviews first. Most recently, he came to bid the job for these massive trees, and was his usual snippy, unfriendly self. Acts like he's doing me the biggest favor of my life, which I don't wanna deal with. I called three times to lock in on a day for the service, and he refused to call back. What a goof..... read more

The owner of this company after he did not perform the service that was expected and took the money from me as if he done all that was expected (I was not home and trusted that he would not scam us over since he had done work from us before). Once I called him to discuss this he was so rude and had the most unprofessional tone. He didn't care that I was dissatisfied with his work nor did he care about what I had to say. I had to ask him multiple times to stop talking to me in this manner and to just let me talk and explain my expectation so that we could find the disconnect. After having to ask him to stop talking to me the way he was and reminded him how unprofessional it was- he yelled shut the F*** up at me and hung up. I have never been talked to by a business owner like this in my life. This is unacceptable and I hope that if anyone else has is unhappy with their service that he doesn't talk to them the same way. This is one customer that will never use his business again and will ensure that other people who are thinking of needing tree services done know what type of business man he is. Please be careful using this business as he will take your money and not provide the services he has quoted. read more
