They used outdated information and pictures. Trying to get a call back or return email is like pulling teeth. When my husband called to question they immediately got defensive and yelled at him!!!! Gave them benefit of doubt, but did my own research. I found much better prices. When I called to cancel, calmly, the woman got immediately defensive. Started to say, loudly, you didn't give enough time to call back (five hours) Claimed we never read the email with quotes. We did, when I told her I found a cheaper quote, well then she got REAL mad. When I told her we were unhappy with lack of communication, she said something I couldn't quite hear, but I don't think it was very nice. She then hung up on me in a huff. Very unprofessional behavior. I do not recommend you use this company, unless you want to be yelled at more than once by their employees. It won't really let me reply, but I'm not going to say much because I don't think it's is really required. I'm so grateful to be out of your company. Our frustration has nothing to do with the insurance company. Just you. We actually spoke to them at corporate due to your incompetence, and they also criticized your behavior. Then reinstated without any reason. Then after paying for the entire amount and closing my policy, this agent told me that I am done I should disregard any further mailings from the Farmers. I have moved three states away and when visiting I was provided by the collection notice for an additional payment. Thank you, Tammy. I have never had a bill due and this was very humiliating.

My claim involves a cancelled cruise due to a medical emergency of one of the travelers. This is a very straight forward claim, for a covered reason. Trawick has been stringing me along for weeks - always telling me it will be approved tomorrow, in a few days, next week. This is starting to feel like a scam. This was a very expensive policy, and between InsureMyTrip and Trawick International, I don't know where my money is !! I am completely frustrated and questioning the value of travel/medical insurance at all! I thought these insurance companies were vetted by Insuremytrip, but I don't get anything but vague promises from anyone.

We acquired insurance for a trip to Israel that was cancelled for now obvious reasons, but the cancellation was after their 10-day no refund rule, so they decided that offering NO REFUND in response to NO VALUE RECEDVED was just fine according to their "industry-standard" rules. That was strike two after they originally tried to get us to pay more for insurance than was called for by our progress payments on the trip. We refused and they lowered the starting price. Future buyers beware, we'll not use them again... PS: The company response is what we'd expect. We wrote the rules, you agreed to them, Its not our fault that you gave us your money and got nothing when others cancelled your trip and incidentally did give you a full refund. (And that is how the 'InsureMyTrip' service failed for me!)
