The on the road service has always been great . I have been a member for over 25 years. I have also used them for vacations and DMV. The only problems I have is the Registration for an appointment do to Real Id Overload. I need to get an appointment for something else and can not get an on line appointment through google or any other net work.I have been trying for 2 weeks. I think they should have a way for Non Real ID Customers. read more

OK, so I'm ridiculous and AAA saved my bacon. Time to renew my driver's license. I need a Real ID, so no on-line renewal for me. We had to be out of the area for a while and we returned home two days before my license expired. Now most sensible folks will have made an appointment for the renewal, but this cottonheadedninnymuggins did not. Why? No idea. No excuse. I walk into the new AAA office, which by the way is very different than the old location: more parking, different set-up, same services, and find out I need an appointment. When they realize my license expires in two days, they 'fit me in' warning that I may have to wait a while. I'm am so grateful and totally don't mind waiting for those who know how to make an appointment. Seriously, everyone I came into contact with were so pleasant and helpful. No glares or attitude. They didn't skip a beat and truly, they made my day beside keeping me on the road. So five stars for helping a girl out when her brain is filled with other cares. I promise. So I got wind of the TSA Pre-check idea and I said you know what let me just do it. So I realized this location did them. So I made sure to gather all the info I needed scheduled an apt online beforehand and walked into this beautiful location. I was greeted by Zina who was absolutely funny and attentive. She helped me from start to finish since I was a AAA member already everything went smooth. I barely waited for anything. The whole process took maybe about 10 minutes from start to finish. They fingerprinted me and took my picture had me fill out some things and Zina told me everything I needed to know. And within a few days I got my email with my TIN. It was so perfect. I think I'm going to start using this AAA for all my needs moving forward it's so clean, they're very nice and the parking lot is big enough so no worries when it comes to parking spaces. read more

It's not as good as it used to be when it was on Centerville Rd. It's smaller and not as organized. Parking is tough at times. I made an appt. to speak to a travel agent at 4 pm on a Thurs. The morning of the appt., before they're open, the agent sends an email stating she went home sick before the office opened and passed my appt. on to another agent. I got there at 3:45 pm. One of the women that does licenses checked in a couple that were in front of me that didn't have an appt. Guess who she sent them off to see? The agent I was supposed to see. So as luck would have, I get this same woman as well for check-in. When I told her I was there to see the same travel agent, she asks if I have an appt. I said yes. Then she kept making faces like oops, oh well too bad for you. She said it was going to be a few minutes. At 4:15, the agent finally finished and sent the couple on their way. Does anyone let the agent know I'm there waiting? Of course not. So I went back over to that woman at 4:20 and said the agent isn't w/anyone, so is anyone going to tell him I'm here? She turns around and tells another woman to go tell the agent I'm waiting. When he finally called me over, I said, sorry I was supposed to see your co-worker, but she emailed me saying she went home sick so I had to see you. He lamented that he was left alone to deal w/everyone. What didn't make sense is in her email she said she passed the appt. off to him as if she made him aware of it, but obviously didn't b/c he had no idea I was scheduled for 4 pm. One of his suggestions for a trip was to take a Jet Blue flight out of Logan to Vegas. Early the same morning of this appt., two Jet Blue planes "touched/collided" on a runway at Logan. One of them was headed to Vegas. Hmm, interesting. After all that, the travel agent was absolutely no help and I wasted time for nothing. So, what's the point of making an appt. if no one keeps track of them and anyone can walk in off the street and hijack someone else's time that they were told to schedule? read more

Loan officer is very rude! When inquiring about a loan I was asked if I knew credit scores, so I asked if he was asking about my Fico scores. He said "what do you mean Fico scores? Your credit scores!" So my Fico scores or my vantage scores...because they're different. He cut me off and raised his voice at me, almost yelling at me because I still didn't know which he was referring to and said "I still don't hear a number!". I've never had such horrible customer service or have been treated so rudely in my life. read more

All i wanted to do was get a motorcycle endorsement on my license, i came in with no appointment and got sent away. I made and appointment which the soonest was 2 weeks out, i get here 20 minutes early to make sure i have time before work. Had to wait until 40 minutes after my appointment and was skipped by at least 6 people who told me themselves they didn't have an appointment. So finally i give up and get back in line to find out i was never even checked in. This place is all over the place, 1 time i understand but the 2 times i've been there now i've had a problem. read more

I placed a call and was greeted by a kind woman who told me that it would be about 45 minutes. She also said that I would be " red flagged" and help would be arriving sooner. I politely explained that the last two calls to AAA ended with a call that never got dispatched and an inaccurate location . S he assured be that my location was noted and help was confirmed. One hour later I placed a call to confirm everything was Okay. It was fine, on their end, there was NO CALL in my name! Once again, they did not process my information, I guess. I explained to the dispatcher that I know the previous dispatcher had the correct info for me, as she read me my plate without having to ask. luckily, the driver who came was very friendly and helpful, otherwise I would be cancelling . Word of advice, if no text comes within a few minutes of placing call, call back!!! read more

This is for information purposes to the public. I recently tried to apply for my "Real" license at our local AAA branch. I had all the required documents and was waiting patiently while the girl processed them. About 3/4 of the way through, the girl explained that she couldn't do anything else more for me and I would have to go to the DMV for my "Real" license. When I asked why, the explanation didn't make any sense to me at all. The girl kept stating that she went as far as she could because the next step requires a supervisors override and they were instructed by the DMV not to do any overrides. When I questioned the reasoning again, I was told that AAA provides limited services to their members when it comes to DMV issues. Be prepared to make an appointment with the DMV to get your real license everyone! And you might want to think twice about keeping your membership with AAA since their services are limited!! read more

In the past month I have attempted to obtain a road map of southern New England (need CT). Today I drove to the Warwick Office adjacent to rt(%. It was gone. Found the new location and asked for a map of Southern New England. Told that AAA had none. Four weeks earlier I received the same answer in Narragansett. It appears that AAA has dropped its service to its motoring members. I have other insurance, road service and travel agencies. Why should I maintain my membership in AAA? Are you intentionally cutting back on providing road maps because of GPS navigational aids? read more

I'm recently widowed and went into AAA yesterday (6/7/22) to renew my car registration and update the address on my license. I just can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the two female agents I worked with were! I wish I knew their names and could single them out...Yes, the wait between checking in and being called was a bit long, but I'll take that any day rather than going to the DMV! just giving my experience for today its 87 degrees out in my truck, i have put a call in at 756 am i sat there for 5 hours. so, I left it is now 330 pm and I just got a call saying they are there, and i am not a priority good thing I have been a gold member sense 2010, i will let my contract end and then I'm done. i will also cancel my dad's card which is on my policy. read more

I went today at 2pm to renew my car registration I waited about 10 minutes to be checked in and was told there would be a 3 hr wait !!! I declined to stay and the DMV rep said if i went to the Cranston location there was an hour wait I went and was told at check in about the hour wait The wait was shorter than the hour wait and was only in there 30 minutes Will never use the Warwick location again read more

Love, love, love AAA. You may never need roadside assistance, but you kow what you do need? Licensee renewals with zero line, almost full DMV services is worth the membership alone. AAA also will get you a discount on pretty much everything ever, it is not just about movie tickets anymore people, although those are great and I would like some in my Christmas stocking. K thanks. First, a branch of the RI DMV is located in the AAA building and this by itself is enough to warrant a 5-star rating. Renew your driver's license without having to wait for seemingly endless periods of time. TripTiks - sure, the advent of GPS has made this nearly obsolete but back inthe day this was a very cool feature. Discounts. Who hasn't used their AAA card to get a better rental car or hotel rate? I paid $67 for the AAA membership yesterday just to avoid having to go to the normal DMV and waste my day .... I think the purchase was well worth it. I was in and out of the DMV AAA office within 10 minutes, far less time than a normal RI DMV!!!!!! and the employees are pleasant and helpful. And they are open until 5 pm M-F and on Saturdays, unlike the other DMVS that close at 3... Well worth it :-) read more

If roadside assistance, financial services, and TONS of discounts (not just travel!) isn't enough to make you become a member, the DMV service alone is! I renewed my license in about 10 minutes and there were only 3 people in front of me. The ladies working were friendly and professional with a sense of humor. I had to wait quite a while for a DMV transaction. The 2 people working on the DMV transactions were doing license renewals, which take a long time. They should have 2 lines when the line has several people in it. 1 for licenses and 1 for the other transactions. This would keep things moving read more

Done with AAA. Last year we booked a cruise with them. Ship was old, rust everywhere and there was blood spattered on some of the furniture. The other couple we traveled with paid for a larger room with a pullout for their teenage son. They ended up with a regular room with a bunk that their son didn't fit on. When we got back and filed a complaint we were offered 35.00 towards our next cruise. My husband recently called for road service. He was told he was no longer on the membership but my son was on it twice. I tried to pay our membership fee online and couldn't because our membership number didn't have enough digits! It was the number on their bill. I had to go into the office to pay and have someone fix the issue with my husband's membership. Today I needed a service call. Dead battery. The tech was very nice but his tester was not working correctly. It said the battery, which had been purchased 4 years prior from AAA, was fine. However the car wouldn't start. He installed a new one, said the old one was under warranty and he would prorate the new one. He was unable to , due to his tester saying the old one was fine. I paid him and he said to call or stop by the office and they would give me a refund of the prorated price. After an hour at the office, making copies of the receipt, calling a supervisor and the tech back, I get a call saying they have no record of me buying the original battery. It had a sticker with the date it was purchased, 4 years prior. It was actually installed in the exact location as the new one, outside my office. My coworkers remember it being installed. The supervisor, "Kevin" told me maybe it was purchased by the previous owner. I have owned the car 14 years, the battery had a date on it from 4 years ago. They do not stand behind their warranty and I am done with them. read more

I went to AAA to purchase some Amex gift cards that are being offered with "no activation fee." I went at what I thought would be a peak time, 4pm and there were several employees working to assist customers. Christina assisted me and was super polite and efficient. She even offered for me to sit while she activated my cards and completed my order. I was extremely satisfied with the service and the savings on gift card activation(s) was almost the cost of my yearly membership! Great deal!! read more

Hope i didn't put a cabosh on myself, but right after writing this review - on June 13th - yes that would have been a Friday! -- in the pouring pouring rain, I blew out a tire when I got off exit 25 on my way to my volunteer job. My poor car hobbled into the office and I immediately called AAA. They were there in less than a half hour. The AAA tech took off the blown tire (it was as flat as a pancake) :-( and replaced it with the donut in my trunk. He was done in no time and was as nice and friendly and polite as a person could be, despite the cats and dogs that fell out of the sky as he replaced the tire!! read more

Great place and fantastic service. Parking can be a little tight, but when you stack that against NOT having to go to the DMV for most services? Priceless! The lines are rarely more than a few minutes wait and the customer service, as I already mentioned (but will def mention again!) is both friendly and efficient - 2 of my favorite words when running errands. Excellent! Lost my License somewhere and went to get a duplicate. Arrived right when they opened and was out in 12 minutes (that's counting filling out the form needed, taking new picture, updating address). Very nice people there and quick with everything. Glad I have AAA read more
