Unreliable and unprofessional. On the day scheduled, the men worked for an hour and then vanished. Not a word to me -- I just looked up and they were gone. We called our salesman, Fran, and he had no idea what they were doing. Finally arranged the men would come back a week later and finish our gutters. I stayed home again & waited all day. They never showed. When I called, irate, Jodie at the office laughed (I mean actually laughed) and said the men went where they wanted, she couldn't control them, and no, we couldn't talk to Fran since he was unavailable. This is how you run a business? We left three more messages on the answering machine for Fran and he never called back. Believe me, folks, it doesn't get any ruder or sloppier than AAA. Fran is a dishonest man. He charged us $725 to clean half of our gutters and seal seven gutter leaks ($65 each). He told us that he guarantees the leaks for a year. After he left, I started contacting his office for a drawing of the gutter leaks he had fixed (which he had promised me). I called and emailed many times with no response. All of the gutters are still leaking and I have called him many times with no response. In my last email I told him that if he doesn't respond, I will file a complaint with the MA Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. It's been two weeks with no response so I will proceed to do so. This has been going on for nine months now. read more

After confirming my request and getting more details on Gutter cleaning work, I was told that owner will call me with a quote. The next day there was no response. So on the third day I called and spoke with the same person about the work. Her response was Oh! Gee! So I asked if they were interested in doing the work. She replied "We don't have time to do Gutter work. Is the way to do business? If you are not interested, then just come out and say it. Fran installed gutter guards 4 years ago and there was an end section that brids were able to get in and build a nest. I spoke with Fran on the phone and emailed him with my request and he responded the next day. Work could be done within 7-10 days and he let me know the day ahead when someone would on site. the gutter guard was fixed at no charge as it is under warranty. I also had a new downspout with a rain barrel splitter installed and a check on gutters by Eric who was great. I would highly recommend this local business. read more

Thankfully the owner, Fran Maple, messed up so bad during the quoting process that I didn't move forward with him. I found this company on HomeAdvisor and scheduled a meeting with Fran to look over the property so he could give me a quote. I was asking for "copper look" gutters and knew exactly what was available in the market. Fran called to reschedule the meeting the day before, but hey, things happen, right? We set up another meeting at a time he suggested and he called at the time he was supposed to arrive and told me he couldn't make it. "To far away" he said, so we made a third appointment. Third meeting he arrived an hour late. I gave him a copy of the exterior plan of my house with all measurements. I also provided a copy of a website that carries the product I was interested in, not so that he had to use them but so that he would know what I was talking about product wise. Fran immediately started to push me into real copper gutters. We walked the perimeter of the house and talked about his suggestions and he took more measurements. He left saying he'd get me a quote for both the real copper, "copper look" and the addition of gutter covers. A week later no quote. I e-mailed him nicely just to make sure he had the proper e-mail address. He responded with an excuse and final sent a quote over but for none of the three items we discussed. Not even the copper he had pushed so hard for. All I can say is, if he can't even bother to put effort into selling you on the product, he sure isn't going to put any effort into installing or supporting it once he's got your money. Lastly, if you look around the web you'll find that Fran likes to respond to his reviewers on other sites in a rather abusive way. I definitely dodged a bullet on this one. I manage a commercial building in Sudbury, MA and had Fran, I believe to be the owner of AAA Window & Gutter to replace rear gutters on our building. The work was done and we had issues with the pitch of the gutters and Fran sent someone out to correct it as I had sent some pictures of the problem. Well, a year later the gutters fell off the building and I called Fran. No one ever returned my calls so I emailed them and every time they responded via email saying a crew would be out over the weekend to correct the issues.This statement was made over FIVE times and no one has ever showed up or returned my calls. Called for removal of an ice dam on my roof on Friday and was told they would come Saturday morning. When they did not arrive by noon on Saturday, I called and was told the work order said Saturday but was put on the crew board for Sunday. Was told they would arrive between 8 and 9 on Sunday. Called at 9:15 when nobody had arrived and was told I should have been told between 8 and 10. Called back at 10:30 and am going almost immediately to voice mail. If this is what one calls excellent service then I do not want to come across bad service. I will never call Fran Maple for any service again and unless you want to get bluffed into thinking they will be coming to serve you, I would do the same! read more

The team came in august 2018. They was supposed to install 3 downspouts but the only install 2. They charged me for 3 downspouts and they leave the job with a big hole in the wall. I want every customer wanting gutter service to stay away from this company. They contacted me via HomeAdivor. The owner, Fran Maple, looked like a reasonable person and I hired them to fix my gutter before the winter comes. Never didI expect that was the beginning of a nightmare! The day they are supposed to fix the gutter, they did not show up. Later, I called and was rescheduled. On my rescheduled appointment, they said they showed up at a different time they told me, but nobody saw them and the gutter looked exactly the same. I called Fran and was told that they only cleaned the gutter that day and hadn't fixed it and that they would finish the work next week. Then next week came and went, nobody ever showed up. I was stuck with them because they claimed they already started working on the gutter. In the next almost TWO MONTHS, I kept calling them almost everyday a few times a day!! During this two months, I was promised that they would show up and fix the gutter a few times, but as not surprised by now, nobody ever showed up!!!! Finally, after two months, numerous phone calls, begging, threatening, two guys stopped by for about half an hours. But, but, the gutter was still leaking after they merely put some rubber on!!!! After many phone calls, they showed up and said they fixed the gutter. Later, my business partner was in town to take a look at the gutter and found all they did was plugging a hole in the gutter. Very bad experience with the snow and ice dam removal. The job was scheduled for Tuesday. Nobody showed or called Tuesday. They came in Wednesday, when nobody was home, broke off icicles in 2 corners of the house and cleaned off about a square yard of snow near each. Charged $1700 for it. The icicles, of course regrew immediately. I called the owner and sent him images. He agreed that this was a very bad job and promised to send somebody Saturday to do it right. Nobody showed up or called Saturday. I called back Sunday and they say they will come Tuesday. Will see.I will update the post tomorrow (Wednesday). Did not showed up or called Tuesday. At that point I asked them to cancel the job and credit money back to my credit card. The owner refused. Do not hire them! read more

There is a reason this fraud is given an F rating by the BBB. He originally replaced and installed new gutters in 2015. I agreed to pay his requested 50 % down payment (BIG MISTAKE) then had to hound him to the point of getting into a shouting match with him when his crew repeatedly no showed. More recently he reviewed some damage to my gutters which he said was covered under warranty. His office person rescheduled the appointment at the last minute ("Fran is back up. He'll be there tomorrow"). He never showed. No call. No email. 1 week later he has yet to answer emails, voice mails or texts. I've filed a second complaint with the BBB. DO NOT USE!!! They do not pick up their phone, return emails, or contact you in any way to respond to service/maintenance requests on warrantied Leaf-X gutters. They say yearly and lifetime...but you can't get them to ever respond, so the warranty is useless!!! I have a 4500+ sq ft home they did haven't gotten them to respond in 1.5 years now. Never use this company! They installed $2500 worth of gutters approximately 3 weeks ago and water is leaking between the gutter and house. Gutters aren't rocket science so this can't be right and really would prefer not having a rotting roof! I called to complain and they seemed less than concerned. They sent their crew to fix the problem and inspect the sealant. So, now I have leaking gutters with gobs of caulking along my roofline. Contacted the owner and received a 2 week estimate on time to clean our gutters. 2 Men showed up in an unmarked truck unannounced and ill equiped about a month later. They spent 15 minutes on the roof putting cigarette buts out on the back deck. I could see from the ground the rear gutter spout had leaves and twigs hanging over the gutter, which is the reason we wanted the gutter cleaning in the first place. When I discussed my disatisfaction with the owner, he did not offer to come inspect his employees work. He simply demanded to be paid. read more

NEVER USE THEM!!! Be aware of this business. It is a fraud. I called them to do roof snow removal for 2 houses. As the snow in Boston start accumulating it became dangerous on the roof and I start to have leaks in the houses. It is $1,200 for first 2 hrs 2 people! than $250 every additional hr. The owner Fran confirmed that they will come in the next morning and do both houses one after the other and the $1,200 will be charged once. The next day they did not show up. Called got busy signal. Emails were not answered. Finally I got through and they promise to come next day. Well, they did and left after 2 hrs charged my credit card for $1,200 and rest assure did not answer phone calls or emails. In the mean time my family was in great jeopardy as the roof (very low pitch) started accumulating snow and continue dripping. Finally after 2 days I got through.They claim "the woman in the house" told them to leave. Guess what, they told the "woman" that the order is for 2 hrs only which was straight out lie as I told them to do both houses ASAP. I was not home so the "woman" said I don't know what was agreed with you. And they left never bothered to do the 2nd house as agreed in writing in the email. So they promise to come next morning. Of course never showed up. Called them again and again promise to come in the afternoon which did not come again. Than I sent them email: I got it! you only come for 2 hrs to collect the $1,200 and move to the next victim. Once I sent the email they immediately email me back we are coming the next morning. They did come the next morning but told my wife they only got order for 2 hrs!!!! My wife by that time (AFTER 4 DAYS!!!) found a legit business that already came and start working. It took them 8 hrs 3 people to clear the roof. I called them and told them I will refuse the charges. They start screaming at me Fran the owner and Judy (Not sure about the woman name) that they will go after me come to my house and start threatening me. I hang up the phone and called the local police to alert them in case these guys will come to my home. A nightmare is good story compare to this. read more

I hired AAA Window & Gutter in late January. It is now nearly May, my and my work has not been completed despite me having paid in full. When Fran first came out to the house to provide a quote, I was quite pleased with his professionalism and knowledge, and the price seemed reasonable. Everything went downhill from there, however. Trying to schedule the work has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Fran's secretary, Amanda, rarely answers the phone and doesn't respond to messages. We have dogs that have to be put inside when workers come, and despite my repeated attempts to get them to give us advanced warning, on three separate occasions they showed up to our house unannounced to do the work, requiring someone to come home frantically from work to bring the dogs in. When I would call Amanda, it was always the same story, "I thought Fran told you they were coming, and he thought I told you." If this happened once it wouldn't be a big deal, but when it happens repeatedly it suggests a more systemic communication problem. When they finally came to do the work (still on the wrong day), they didn't do the entire job, but charged us anyway. This was over a month ago, and now they don't return any of our calls. I have called multiple times per week, every week, for over a month. I am considering small claims court, but at a minimum would like to make it clear to everyone that this has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Was totally disappointed in the way that AAA handled our job ...when a date was set to start..workers didn't start the job because it was "too windy" for safety reasons to get on ladders..., understandable ...found this out only because I called back to find out what happened and rescheduled ..when that date came ...no one showed at all .and when I called them ..was told they would call back in 15 mins ..I;m still waiting for that call ...3 months later ...after leaving several voicemail messages and emails ..no one EVER called or wrote back to explain or discuss why they were not doing our job ...nice customer service ..would never call them again for any job read more
