Needed to fix old gutters that leaked down behind gutters and facia. ECG installed new gutters with leaf guards and extra drip edge to fix our issue. First Rain storm we had rain coming down behind the gutters just like old ones and now a more serious buzz sound when the wind blows across them which keeps my 10yr old up at night. I've called and emailed ECG and did initially receive a response or two claiming they'd come out to look but never did and then stopped communicating all together. I hired ECG to install gutters and drip edge on my brand new home in Nashua. I shopped around and had 4 different companies give me estimates, and while ECG was just a tad higher than the competition I felt the most comfortable with their representative. When I got the quote, he walked around my house with me and told me exactly what I would be needing, the best way to divert/drain the water from my roof, and some general ins/outs of gutters that I wasn't aware of. I felt like i got the most professional and in depth quote from ECG, which is why I went with them instead of the competition. The gutters themselves look great - the seams are clean and most importantly they don't scream "Look at my gutters" when you look at my house. My place is brand new so it was important to me to get something that functions as good as it looks. The install is clean and everything was done in a timely manner. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far I am extremely glad that I gave ECG a chance, despite some of the old less-than-favorable Yelp reviews. We all know that more people sign up for Yelp to write one stars than they do to write a positive review, so hopefully my account and post history show that I'm giving an honest review here. Company performed a shoddy installation. When a section of gutter they installed fell, they refused to support initial install without further payment. I Initial install in 2012 included several shoddy aspects that were readily apparent to the naked eye (hanging wires, uneven gutters). After complaining, the company did send out installers to repair (although not when initially indicated they would come). This past winter a section of gutter fell at the side entrance to our home damaging the side deck of our house and our driveway. Fortunately, no individual was present or undoubtedly they would have been harmed as well. It took nearly 3 months of repeated inquiries to even get them to my home to look at the problem that occurred with the gutters while under warranty. They made no attempt to fix the gutter or contact me to do so and only offered to fix the gutter after repeated attempts by me and at a cost of nearly $500. They refused to honor the contract and warranty for the install that they had performed. read more

After having 3 estimates to install gutters on my home, it was obvious that East Coast Gutters were far better than the others. Their salesperson was honest and did not try to oversell as others did. They are extremely professional and have the best quality materials and workmanship. I can't stress enough how reliable, honest and wonderful they are! I had asked the installer to change the direction of the downspout, which he gladly did. I very quickly realized (when it rained the next day) that the installer was correct and I should not have made him change it. A quick email to them resulted in them coming back and changing it for me with an even better solution. They are by far the best!!! read more

We have a brand new house in Brookline - new construction, but didn't have gutters. I did a quick google search and found East Coast Gutters. I reached out via their website and got a quick response from Jamie who offered to come out and do an estimate. Jamie was very nice, thorough, and was prepared with samples and specs. He did his quote and left that and all the info I needed behind for my husband and I to discuss. Once we did we emailed him and he got back to me same day saying he received it and they would set up a date soon. This was still during the winter so they were still waiting for the snow to melt, etc before they confirm a date. But a couple weeks later once we locked in a date they showed up exactly when they said they would. There were two gentlemen, I wish I could remember their names but super polite, and very professional. And they did an absolutely fantastic job. They did the whole house in an hour and a half! And it looks great!! My husband is an engineer and tends to be very picky and nitty gritty over the work that gets done at home. Since this is our brand new house we obviously wanted quality work and that's what we got, and he was extremely pleased to say the least! Thank you to Jamie, and the guys at ECG who did the job. Extremely disappointed. Three years ago, they installed gutters on our house. Everything seemed fine and looked fine. 2 years later, two gutters are sagging or directing water on the opposite side. I called and left a message. No call back. I called again, somebody answered and they told me that they would give me a call back to give a time and date to evaluate the situation. No call back. Then, I called again and again and again.... and again. No call back. So winter passes, I decide to go through the same process, but alas, same results. I went with the cheaper estimate at the time, and now I know why it was cheaper. read more

They installed leaf guards on my gutters a couple of years ago, but I've now been experiencing issues with those gutters. I understand that happens, but my issue is that I've called them three times in the past six months and they tell me that they'll have someone come out to look at it and they don't. Each time I refer to that in my next call, they act as if I never called. I don't understand why their customer service is so terrible. I am going to use another company from now on and will never recommend these people. If anyone asks me for a recommendation for a gutter company, I will steer them away from this company. read more

This company is a Joke, I requested a bid for a new gutter install, the salesman who came out to give me an estimate was professional and likable, that was the last positive experience I had with the company. After signing a contract to install gutters I had to chase them to get an install date. They never returned any calls, a month goes by with no return calls finally, i was able to reach the salesman, he indicated that he needed to come back to reexamine the job. Again, after the visit they went into hiding again for about a month. when i finally reached the salesman again, he would not honor the contract price and refused to even come out to install gutters as per our agreement. My gutter cleaner pointed out that the loose spikes would no longer hold in the old fascia board, and a couple of calls took me to East Coast Gutters. Their price was reasonable -- less than another, and less than a handyman quote for removing and replacing the old gutter. The salesman offered alternatives, provided a detailed quote on paper without asking for it (better than many tradesmen), and was generally pleasant. The workers were prompt, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. No gripes at all. read more

when asked about a downspout location on side of mudroom, i was told that i agreed to have it there, funny thing is i never spoke to anyone about the placement of this downspout and wife was home during entire install, installer did what he wanted, they refused to come back out and to move it and blamed it on my "house structure," so much for customers service, if this was his house there is no way he would put this eyesore of a downspout where he did, then walk away, thats the problem, they just walk away after install, i would not hire again, you dont get what you pay for, almost $400 more than other prices. now i have to move downspout myself, this is what i get for $1900, another project at house to do myself read more
