It's a great spot with the things you need for Philippine cuisine.

My grandma would cook and i regret the times i opted for takeout. My father saw this place on maps before i did, i was surprised one was right next to the gate. I myself never really dove into Filipino/filipina culture but one thing was true, i love to eat food. I went there with my family the 3rd week of my time at Ft. Carson. The owner treated us like family and made sure we had enough rice with our entrees. The market may be small but it reminds me of home. The food takes me back to my grandma's cooking, and the times i would spend with family eating at other filipino restaurants. The flavors are very unique and you can tell how much effort and care the owner puts into her food! She's often with family and friends, as I would if my family and friends were with me. I miss home, I miss friends and family, sometimes i even regret signing the contract, but dining here with my people really lifts the weight off my shoulders. I wish plenty of fortune and opportunities for the owner and her family.

She said no, they just tested to see if the power comes on. I said we need to change your policy because people are getting tired of taking things home and they're not. They don't work and then you have to bring it back. She said, well, you're rude. I said no, you're rude for saying that. So the manager comes out, she says you're kind of people. We don't need in the US and you need to leave this store. You kind of people I didn't know goodwill was racist like that, but apparently the white manager comes out and tells me my face that my kind of people should not even be in the United States and I need to leave the store because I said, cashier was rude after she said I was rude. Can I return or exchange something here from another Goodwill. I asked it two different ways and sadly the cashier could not answer me that question. It's not a big deal, but it just makes it hard for customers to do this kind of transaction if they don't have the correct information. What this tells me is, I will have to go back to the original Goodwill that I bought said item at and return it/exchange it there. If you don't have any return or exchanges to do then, I think that this Goodwill is fine for finding what you may need. And one thing to keep in mind, everything is crammed onto the racks, and it is a little hard to sort through. Even though the prices aren't that bad, I think they would do well to lower them to get stuff moving. If you're in the area, you might wanna check this Goodwill out. It's not their best store, but it's also not the worst.

Prices are okay, some items I noticed were priced as much as brand new but most items I found were about $5. I perused the purple tag items that were prices for $2, and actually found a few things! Oh, I found a POL shawl for $8. On the day of my visit the yellow tags were half-off and the green were thirty percent off. I deducted a star for pricing being a little all over the place, and the fact that there's NOT a changing room. I need to see what the return policy is, but I'm guessing it's store credit only. I would hope it's at least store credit since there's no way to try clothes on before buying so you can't really know how it really looks on. Another star was deducted because as we walked to the front entrance there was a homeless man cursing everyone out and threatening us. Apparently he was asking for money but since he was obviously on drugs he was mumbling and no one understood what he was saying. It shook me up because he said something about my baby and started to walk towards me with his hands out like he was going to use violence. But he kept on walking past me, thankfully. We told the cashiers inside but they acted like it wasn't a big deal. We were told by a sheriff that he is usually posted up at the McDonald's across the street.

Deceptive product description led to a waste of $20…read more Purchased a Knight's Armament Company 2-rib rail cover, new for $20 shipped. Very deceptive product and product description: "...these panels are compatible with other handguards with MIL-STD-1913 rail systems." Not true; more accurate to say these panels fit AROUND any MIL-STD-1913 rail system but ONLY lock into an authentic Knight's Armament Company rail system. If your rail is not an authentic KAC rail, these panels will slide onto the rails but not lock into place. Therefore these rail panels slide around uselessly on non-KAC rails. However, authentic KAC rails ($250 apiece new) have additional milling cut into them specifically for their proprietary rail covers. Look it up... wish I did. But more importantly, I wish Mod Armory listed that important fact in their product description.
