I really dug this little boutique in downtown CO springs. It was a little pricey which is why I gave 4/5 stars but hands down of all the little shops I wandered into during the 2ish hours I was downtown, this place had the coolest and most eclectic Colorado/hippy-ish stuff. I was very into it :) they especially had some really cute earrings but also had clothing, souvenir and household type items, and someone was getting their hair done too? A lot was going on lol. If you're looking for a gift, or just interested in a place that SCREAMS made in Colorado Springs, Eclectic Co is the place for you! I discovered them through my love of Berry Good Goods (whose products they stock), only to find that the cutest jewelry I've ever seen, along with some truly unique gifts and buys like candles made in repurposed cans or rings made out of guitar strings. There are plenty of clothing, artwork, and candle options as well. The employees have always been very hospitable, including allowing us to bring our dog in as well as letting this pregnant lady use their restroom. We always stop here when travelling through Colorado Springs for gifts for others (and ourselves of course). It's a great way to support artists and makers, local creativity, and shop unique and interesting pieces that you won't find anywhere else. I recently had an incredible experience with Dani at the shop and Kit, a jewelry designer with Vagabond. I had purchased my favorite pair of earrings (on sale even!) years ago at the co-op and wanted to see if I could get another pair or something similar from the designer. They were quick to respond and went above and beyond to send me photos of the inventory, save my items, and communicate for affordable payment and (fast) shipping! Eclectic is my favorite store in Colorado Springs!! Every time I'm downtown I have to slide in for a peak...or 10. I almost always buy something, whether it's a sticker, cute art, or a candle, Eclectic is always right up my alley. My last visit I bought a really unique octopus ring and another opally/blue ring. They have a bunch of vintage, one-of-a-kind rings at the counter!! It took everything in me not to buy all of them. I always love to smell the candles in the back that are named after cities in Colorado. Smell the Breckenridge one!! So good. They also have really cute clothing. Most of their items are made by local crafters, which makes me even more excited to buy from them. Eclectic also makes a great place to stop if you're looking to buy someone a gift. Wonderful shop! So many wonderful unique pieces of art. From vintage to new individual creative pieces local artists. The artists also work in the shop so you can actually meet some of them. I would normally recommend the store because they have a wonderful variety of local products as well as vintage items - it's got a great vibe, wonderfully colorful, and I usually do my shop small giftgiving at the store every year, but I will not be returning. Today the personnel were discussing very loudly, their wishes for our next president and they said "I was hoping that he would burn in a golf cart crash fire." I don't care what your political views are, and how unhappy you are about the election results, but that is no conversation to be having out loud in front of customers in your shop ever! Incredibly weird store. Came in, looked around and left. Thank God I did, because never in my life, has a store made me feel uncomfortable and wanting to leave as this place did. I LOVE this place. I found it because I'm a huge fan of BonBon Bombardier candy and this is one of the local places that stocks their magical creations. But then I discovered so many other great things inside- it's the absolutely perfect place to choose a gift for someone. I bought my sister a little wildflower bracelet with a cool saying/meaning behind it and she adored it and it felt like a personal and unique gift. My husband loves their vintage records too.
