Located in downtown. Good location very close to all other places . Parking is paid .. had to park a few blocks away .. there are other parking spots closer to this restaurant too. It's tough to locate this restaurant . From outside you hardly see the board or name visible. Lots of Georgia tech and GSU students eat here . There are also discounts for them . Place inside was cozy . Tables and the space was small .. service was good. The guy (uncle) came and gave us some starters and also had a smiling face ... we ordered and got the food extremely quick .. less than 5 mins we got the food :). Food taste was average though. College kids probably like it much , because they don't cook :) curries were bland and less spicy . Samosa was a bit oily . Paneer was good . They also had a bar with some Indian local beers . Overall an average experience.. pricing wise it was good . Not too expensive . ... 3 stars

We ordered food delivery and the food was very good. The rice portions were more than enough for three meals. We did not go to the restaurant but really enjoyed takeout!

It's one of those hidden gems that we happen to stumble upon- and glad we did! Its small and cozy dine in spot-mostly people were ordering take outs! Having said that their service is great and courteous. Loved their food. We ordered lamb biryani and chicken tikka and both were freshly made! They have decent menu options- Prices are pretty good too. Good desi spot in Atlanta downtown area.

I tried Indian food for the first time here, and I've been hooked ever since! I'm a creature of habit, so I almost always order the Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan--and it never disappoints. The flavors are rich, comforting, and exactly what I crave every single time. The customer service is always warm and friendly, which makes every visit feel inviting, whether I'm dining in or grabbing takeout. My only tiny complaint is the parking situation, but that's just Atlanta--you usually have to pay. Maybe there's free parking somewhere nearby, but I usually just run in quickly to pick up my order and it's worth the little hassle every time.

The food is AMAZING!!!! Cheese Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala is so good! I got medium heat it was perfect. I ordered through grub hub and the food was still hot. Good service.

Yes, yes, yes! I've been eyeing this spot for a while because of its good reviews and was finally in the area. I ordered via Uber eats so I can only speak to the food. I had the chaana begoon (spicy) and garlic naan. I was expecting a little more kick, but I think the spice was just mellowed by a smokiness and a subtle sweetness. It's probably the most well-balanced chaana begoon I've had so far. It did have larger pieces of onions in it than I've seen, but I didn't mind. I actually like the different textures this dish offers. The naan was flaky at the edges, and soft and buttery towards the center. No complaints from me. I'm looking forward to coming in person and trying more dishes.

Great little spot cranking out delicious flavorful food. Extremely kind folks running this space that just want you to be warmed with a delicious meal and we were able to do just that. Always wanting to see how others do it we ordered a few things to share and loved it all. The lentil soup was extremely flavorful with saffron and garlic and a little spice the naan was soft and savory and our tika Marsala was also delicious. The chicken was a little dry but the flavor was so good and once you cut it up with the broth it wasn't a big deal otherwise would have done a 4.5. Definitely another place we were so thankful was in walking distance of the hotel and would definitely come back to next time.

Fantastic service and excellent food. I highly recommend dining here. We stopped in for happy hour and loved it, and the portions were generous enough that we even had a little snack to take home.

Tried it for the first time this evening and decided to dine in with my friend. The customer service is impeccable, very kind staff, it's just a small dining room space, but I didn't mind; it's a nice hole in the wall that feels homey and the food tastes like a home cooked meal. It came out fast, but it also was not busy when we went. It tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients and the flavor was there, I got spicy which was the perfect spice level. They also give free bottled water!

Just came here for a quick take out dinner on a Wednesday night. Was able to walk from my hotel downtown. The inside has a couple seats. The menu has many options. I ordered the Shaag Ponir for ~$14. It came with a side of rice which was nice. The workers were all very nice and gave me a water while I waited. The food came out pretty fast ~10 minutes! I took it back to my hotel and thought it was pretty good. There was a lot of cheese which I loved. It was a little bit oily and I wished the flavors were a little stronger but overall it hit the spot.

Amazing Indian food in DW Atlanta. Was in the city for work & after having sandwiches and pizza for the past week, boy were we glad to get some comfort food for the soul. We got Garlic Naan, Mixed Naan and Paneer Tikka Masala & everything was delicious! Piping hot, extremely tasty and just hit all the right spots on a cold fall evening. They serve food in togo boxes (very convenient I'd say) and styrofoam (?) plates which wasn't a huge deal for us but could be for some. The place is small but can definitely hold a crowd, as we saw that day. The person who rang us up was very friendly & even offered some Mango lassi to go :) Overall, would totally recommend stopping by for some Indian food here if you are in the area.

Ordered take out via food delivery app. Order was prepared and dispatched really quickly. Whole order was packed nicely in one single bag, including two lassis. I liked a lot the samosas and chicken wings. Chicken pakora was decent. The chicken tikka masala was cooked little differently than what I know. Still the sauce was really good, even two days later I had the flavor in it. Loved the lassi, came in a huge cup, sweet and thick, like it should be.

But this past time I got takeout, the chicken tikka masala really blew me away. The flavor was very rich and well developed, without just a surface level flavor of tomato. Each bite of chicken was also very tender. To be fair I haven't had Indian food in a while and was really craving it but I was pleasantly surprised. Garlic naan could've been a bit more garlicky but was very good texturally, nice and chewy. The parking garage entrance is right next door (to the right of the restaurant) and you can get validated inside. If you're getting takeout, they text you a link you have to prepay through before they start preparing the food which is a bit annoying, but I get it.

This is the summary of my experience there: 1) Ambiance 3/5: The place from outside looks contemporary and chic. The bar looks inviting but as you enter the dining area, the place is dated. The decor looks shabby and I feel they should renovate for they have a reputation to maintain 2) Service 3/5: This was a hit and a miss for me. Though they are gracious enough to validate your parking, the service was at times good but at times slow and bad. One person was good at suggestions but the other person was really lazy. I went their for my birthday but they took about 10 minutes to get me a candle which was disappointing to say the least. 3) Food 4/5: This is where they excel. Although everything was pricey. The taste made up for it. We had: a) kaala khatta : This is basically shikanji but was refreshing b) mango chili mojito: My wife loved it. It tasted like you were eating raw mango with salt and chili powder. c) palak patta chaat - it was crispy and flavorful d) Chicken curry: Loved the taste. The accompanying rice was so less that it looked like a joke e) Chur chur naan and garlic naan: Pricey and ok f) Carrot halwa with ice cream: The combination was good but carrot halwa in general was ok. Tasted like the heated store bought frozen halwa 4) Value for money 3/5: Really pricey. The taste was look but for the amount, everything was pricey I would only return if I a really craving for Indian food with nothing in the vicinity and someone else is paying. He seemed a bit frustrated early on until he finally let it go. Grateful he let it go because the naan wasn't even good enough to have more conversation around it. Then i wanted gulab jamun but they were closing so he offered me cold gulab to warm up in the microwave when i got home. i did not love that option and opted out. only reason im still giving this place 5 stars despite the service interaction is because ive dined out several times and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. besides from the music inside, no reason to dine in again.

It was a nice day outside so we opted to sit on the patio instead of inside. Our server sat us and came back to take our order. The tables were already set with glasses and app plates. The food was delicious! For our appetizer we ordered the Beef Samosas. They were hot and fresh. The green sauce was spicy but really good. For our entrees we ordered the Butter Chicken and the Mixed Biryani. We also got an order of Garlic Naan and Mixed Cheese Naan. Everything came out hot and fresh. I added the butter chicken to my biryani and added some of the green sauce from the samosa and Whoa it took the flavors to another level. We had enough for leftovers and it tasted just as good the next day. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the Paneer, it said its cheese but tasted like tofu to me. My friend ordered the mango drink and enjoyed it. I ordered one too but never received it. Overall the service was decent. I felt like the food runner and the one who cleaned the tables was more helpful than our server. The manager did check on us as he also brought food out. One guy thought I didn't eat my food and we had a good laugh. I just got full quick. I would def return.

Hooray! A genuinely refreshing addition to our West Midtown rotation is here - and it's de-licious!…read more We planned our visit to give time for any opening friction points to smooth out, because we wanted to love this place right from the start. An Indian fusion tasting menu? Yes please! I'm glad we did, because our overall experience was really good. Firstly, in addition to the tasting menu, they have a great range of dishes and some happy hour specials too. The only less-than-awesome moment was our arrival. We were first in line at the host stand, at the very beginning of dinner service, with a reservation. However, we had to wait as a group behind us was welcomed and seated. The host was the only person all evening who wasn't warm or welcoming - it was a chilly arrival experience, with parking validation friction and would have put me off from the start if the servers hadn't saved it from there on out. We were seated close to the pass, which was a fun spot to watch both the kitchen and front of house teams at work, as well as a comfy booth from which to observe the rest of the space (including snooping at other diners' plates - for inspiration, of course). The server seemed surprised that we (as first-timers) went straight to the tasting menu, but quickly got organized and the drinks were with us within a few minutes. She was very present, explained everything really well, and handled my weird ingredient questions and preferences super well. The food was ahmahzing. 13 dishes in just over an hour - phew. Favorites and standouts included: - Green Papaya Salad: fresh, tangy and crunchy - Crispy Broccoli: vegetables never tasted this good. - Potato Dosa: too filling for a tasting menu, but the second-best bite on the menu - Dal Makhni: black lentils, creamy-dreamy and the best dish of the night. - Turmeric Fish: no idea what fish it was, but it was shockingly good. - Sticky Date Cake: yes, this is the British-originated sticky toffee pudding of my dreams, and beats anything I've had in the UK. Huge compliments to our server (Brett - she was amazing), the kitchen and to the management, who were very present all evening, checking in with subtlety and never overdoing it. I'm going to have to wait a few weeks to stop feeling so full, then I'll be back for a tour of the rest of the menu. I can't wait to bring out of town visitors; Ghee has brought West Midtown the type of southern-hospitality-meets-global-cuisine moments I have been hoping for. Welcome to Atlanta, team Ghee!
