The curry bowl might be the new wave. First time trying it and I got it with chicken 65 and the chicken kebab (i think?). The kiosk was super convenient, detailed, and easy to use. Food came very quickly after the kiosk printed my order. Chicken was tender and delicious.

While taking a day to work in the city, I was able to sit, relax, and enjoy a wonderful lunch break at Sankranti Indian Kitchen. I ordered my go-to Lamb Biryani, and was instantly satisfied. The staff was friendly and let me know that they've been in business for two years! I wish them many more years of serving delicious Indian food.

First timer : wanted to give a 3.5 but gave 4 ! To start with , fantastic location. Pretty close to GTech and right next to few other shops .... They have very few seats indoor and few outdoors. Was very cold today and had to sit indoor.. only 4 families can sit in. Hope they can put more tables / chairs indoors ... Food was ok . For this location, getting Indian food was great but it was less Indian and more American food . Everything was sweet catering to locals . Veggie bowl was ok. We got 2 bowls and both tasted OK . The rice was a bit dry .. paneer was good . 10$ for a bowl wasn't bad . Price wise it was cheaper than other big Indian restaurants. Good for students to have a bowl, once in a while . Overall average food and fantastic for students !

Came during their grand opening week during lunchtime. Lots of other customers already, but they moved pretty efficiently to serve everyone in line. I like the variety of options on the menu. The chicken was cooked well and was quite tender. I just wish they gave a little bit more! The tikka masala sauce was tasty and seasoned well and the spice level was pretty mild. They ran out of their mango lassi, which I was disappointed about, but I'll definitely return to try some of their other menu items, like their chicken biryani. Overall a solid meal for the price point.

Just this small portion for 20$

I spent 20$ for just small portion without anything on a side Totally unfair. Unbelievable

Curry bowl with chicken tikka, half tikka masala half vindaloo, with cucumber, tomato, cheese, and yogurt sauce. Yum!

TLDR: chicken tikka masala was delicious, chicken tender…read more I've gotten takeout from this place several times and always thought it was just good. But this past time I got takeout, the chicken tikka masala really blew me away. The flavor was very rich and well developed, without just a surface level flavor of tomato. Each bite of chicken was also very tender. To be fair I haven't had Indian food in a while and was really craving it but I was pleasantly surprised. Garlic naan could've been a bit more garlicky but was very good texturally, nice and chewy. The parking garage entrance is right next door (to the right of the restaurant) and you can get validated inside. If you're getting takeout, they text you a link you have to prepay through before they start preparing the food which is a bit annoying, but I get it.

The rice that came with the Rogan Josh could have been a slightly bigger portion for the money, same with the naan. It's bread and rice, afterall. Arrived on a Friday around 7 and ended up sitting at a high top table near the bar. Service wasn't great as a result but we weren't in a rush. Would've been nice to have sat more inside the restaurant instead of near the waiter station in the corner. They have outdoor seating as well, but that wasn't offered to us so I can't speak to how often they have service outside.

Overall the seasoning of these dishes were on the heavy side. In particular, the medium lamb and mushrooms were quite spicy. The mild goat also had a kick of heat but it was OK for me; in fact, this was my fav as the sauce was thick and flavorful, and the bone-in goat was super tender -- definitely had better quality than those sold in farmers market. Besides, the achar was quite salty, so salty that I could swallow it only with tons of rice. There are not many Indian restaurants in Midtown Atlanta. Compared to Tabla, another Indian restuarant only ~0.5mi walk from this one, the dishes in Blue india have a larger portion size, especially for their curry and biriyani. The naan was huge as well -- my peshwari was about 0.6lb! However, Tabla had more side dishes including tandoori vegetables, which made it more suitable for dining alone.

He seemed a bit frustrated early on until he finally let it go. Grateful he let it go because the naan wasn't even good enough to have more conversation around it. Then i wanted gulab jamun but they were closing so he offered me cold gulab to warm up in the microwave when i got home. i did not love that option and opted out. only reason im still giving this place 5 stars despite the service interaction is because ive dined out several times and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. besides from the music inside, no reason to dine in again.

I got a mango lassi ($5.99), masala smashed potatoes ($6.99), and chicken tikka roll ($11.99). The food came out FAST. The mango lassi was sweet, creamy, and refreshing. And the potatoes and roll were DELICIOUS. They came out hot and fresh. The potatoes were super crispy and well-seasoned. It was served with this tasty sauce that had a bit of a kick and some sweetness. Every part of the chicken tikka roll was delicious. The chicken was flavorful & tender, the naan was warm & thick & tasty, the green chutney added a nice brightness, and the slaw added a fresh crunch. The roll was served with raita on the side. Everything was fantastic, very flavorful, ingredients balanced. My niece had not wanted to order as she was unsure about whether she'd like the flavors, and she does not do spicy. She loved everything. The potatoes have a light kick of spice, I would put them in the flavorful category over spicy, Could not be happier with my food hall choice.
