They replaced a transmission on my wife's vehicle and within a day it was leaking like a civ and it had noise coming from the front end. They repaired the leak and told me I now needed front wheel bearings. They convinced me it was nothing they did so I had them replace those too. Within a couple weeks of actually driving on it, the left front wheel came off on the highway with my wife and two young daughters inside the vehicle. It's a miracle no one was seriously injured. Turns out they didn't tighten all the lugs. Two were tightened, three were not. You can see in the first pic how two studs are sheared off but three are unscathed. Those three were not tightened and it matches a pattern you would use when you start to tighten lugs. They just forgot to come back to the other three. They backed off or were never there to begin with. We park our cars in our garage so there was no tampering. Curtiss would not take responsibility for their mistake and it cost me $9000 to get everything repaired elsewhere. People need to be aware of this poor accountability. Buyer beware and shame on Curtiss and the ownership. read more

This is a top notch car repair business. I stopped by there after my transmission went out and talked to Wayne who was very nice helpful and informative and gladly offering to bring my car in for a free inspection. After I brought it in, Curtis the center manager, was also the same. Personally sent me text pictures of my transmission parts with a detailed explanation of issues and the state of my trans. Unfortunately, my trans was shot and unrepairable which I suspected. Curtis found vouchers and discounts for me and texted them to me and also stepped me through finding a financial assistance program through the parent company. The car is driving great now and I am very satisfied with their work. I guess the only thing is it was damn expensive but that's par for the course with a trans plus you gotta pay for great service.. I am a snowbird and I have found a great place to service my car while in Florida. I came for 5 days to deal with some house repairs, to find out that my car was dead. My neighbor recommended Aamco. They towed me at no charge and put me back on the road within 1day. My battery was dead and my transmission had some problems. I was very impressed with their actions to prioritize my car. I went there to get a estimate to replace my clutch. The guy i spoke to was steve he was not professional at all. I explained to him all the issue's i was having when i dropped off my car. 2 hour later he calls me and tells me i need a clutch. Which was obvious because my car was not shifting right. Then he tells me that they close at 12 noon and he does not know if he's gonna be able to get my car on the lift to check it. After i had called a day ago to make a appointment. I also was hearing a noise in the front that i mentioned to him when dropping off my car. That he claimed i never told him about it. Which he stated that he did not hear it. Which was a very loud noise that was kind of hard to miss. Honestly i don't think they checked my car at all. But when it came to the repair cost. He came out with a Outrageous price. Charging me for parts that actually where include in a clutch kit. This guy is just there to pocket in some extra money. If you wanna pay double for parts and give your money away go see this guy. ***WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE**** where do I even begin a year ago took our truck there to get a rebuilt transmission got told it would be in and out 2 months later and tons of harassing about when it will be finished it was done they blew the engine twice had to replace it. Work that they said was done was never done they lied. Fast forward to a year later after work was done 5 th gear started to act funny and slip took it back was told it was out of warranty when it wasn't. Come to find out through the new manager that they never fixed anything they were suppose to and that we paid for. It took them 4 weeks with our truck and still haven't fixed it we finally picked it up and told them we couldn't wait any longer had to spend even more money going to another mechanic who did the work in two days. We have spent about $10,000 o this truck! I never got a refund for the work that I paid for , my truck was given to me in disgusting condition with stains and grease all over the driver side door. BEWARE THE OWNER WILL TELL YOU HE DOESNT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOU AND CANT WAIT TO GET RID OF YOUR VEHICLE. This is the most unprofessional place in PSL. I found this AAMCO after I had a major breakdown with my Jeep Wrangler and had to have it towed in. Moti, the owner, gave me an estimate over the phone which I agreed to. When he called me with the final price, I was ecstatic to learn it was quite a bit lower than his estimate! (Once they started working on it, they found that the problems weren't quite as bad as originally thought.) What a pleasant surprise. I should also add that they did a great job quickly. read more

It was a major headache doing business with them. They never fixed my transmission properly. After spending over $2,500.00 to have it fixed, it continued to break down and never lasted more than a week before it had to go back to the shop. Overall a very unpleasant experience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to have your car repaired. read more
