This is a top notch car repair business. I stopped by there after my transmission went out and…read moretalked to Wayne who was very nice helpful and informative and gladly offering to bring my car in for a free inspection. After I brought it in, Curtis the center manager, was also the same. Personally sent me text pictures of my transmission parts with a detailed explanation of issues and the state of my trans. Unfortunately, my trans was shot and unrepairable which I suspected. Curtis found vouchers and discounts for me and texted them to me and also stepped me through finding a financial assistance program through the parent company. The car is driving great now and I am very satisfied with their work. I guess the only thing is it was damn expensive but that's par for the course with a trans plus you gotta pay for great service.. They go above and beyond. If I have any issues with my car, I will go straight back there and talk to them. -jason w.

I went with the AAMCO in Stuart, FL. for the reason it's a National chain and I lived 3 hrs. away…read morefrom where I bought the van near there with a bad tranny. My thinking was if I had any future Problems I could go to the local AAMCO where I live, and sure enough I did about 8 weeks later, because my parking spot had a puddle of red fluid on it. I had it towed to a mechanic who verified a leak at the transmission, so, I then had it towed to the local AAMCO, who said it had no leak and ok'd it, and that it was fine, Until recently. I started the van on a Saturday morning and heard a crazy start up noise but did not know what it was and I shut it off right away. Later that same day, after visiting and coming back from my neighbors across the street, we noticed a wet spot towards the front under the van and saw the dreaded red liquid again running towards the sidewalk, urrrr!. Had it towed to the local AAMCO after the weekend and they found "loose bolts" on the pan and tightened them up ok'd it to drive. I drove it home (12 miles) where it is still parked and where it sits with a leak, Still. Long story shortened, I only got approx.10,075 local miles (about 3325 miles per year) out of a $3500.00 rebuilt transmission, over the course of 3 years in low stress Flat-Land Florida. Yes, it is past the 18 month, 18,000-mile warranty, but only worked for 10,000 miles, really? The local AAMCO offered to replace it with a $4700.00 remanufactured tranny but being a senior on SSD I can't afford that. Note: I never knew this national chain was made up of independent dealers who do not work together as a national chain normally would, so do your own due diligent, do the math from the above numbers, and beware of this.
