Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club in University Place Washington is a membership organization that maintains the property primarily with volunteer labor. Some projects however are above our capabilities, and we need expert help. Aardvark provided just that. A few years back they covered our small-bore range backstop with bark, and it's held up really well. The pistol range had reached a point where it needed to be redone so we once again had Aardvark bid that for us. They patiently waited for our volunteer board as they took a couple of years in the decision-making process. When we were finally ready they responded in a timely and responsive manner. They scheduled around our designated maintenance time and did not interfere with club activities at all. Gabe and Dustin did an outstanding job of thoroughly covering the berm to ensure ricochets would not happen, maintaining the safety of the range. There's was the only outfit we found that had a long hose capability to enable them to work around our other facilities. We also caught the tail end of winter pricing, which is a nice aspect as well. As a contractor (over 50 Years in my business) it is always a crap shoot if new sub contractors will deliver what they promise. Aardvark Blower Service was referred so I gave them a try. From the initial call to their office (talked with several individuals) I was left with confidence that I was dealing with professionals. On the day of the scheduled delivery (over 100 yards of top soil over two plus days) Eric, Dave and Reno arrived on time, worked together like clock work as a team placing the material exactly where it needed to be. We have used Aardvark Bark blowing twice now; once about 9 years ago, and again just today. The technology has improved in that time and we are just as satisfied and impressed as we were all those years ago. Today we had 20 yards of 70/30 mix blown in. Dan and Reno were our technicians and they were friendly and complete professionals. They knew how to distribute the product to achieve our desired result; it's applied so smoothly, no need to rake it yourself, all we need to do is roll it before the hydroseeding is sprayed. This company makes it possible, and at a cost that's affordable, to get soil, bark, and the like, onto properties that have limited access and certain equipment size restrictions (septic drain fields and so forth). So I'm head of facilities at a private school in Seattle (the valley school). We sources our play chips for our playground from Aardvark bark blowing. The experience from the moment I reached and dealt with customer service in sourcing the right product, to workers arriving on tome, and distribution of the product was great. KYLE and ZACH were the installers I dealt with and they were great, great attitude, work ethic and we're very professional. Not only did they install the product to our specifications but they also cleaned up and left our campus hard scapes cleaner than when they arrived. I had a unique project in mind for AArdvark at my home. Over the course of a few months I removed about 2500 SF of grass in chunks from my lot in order to plant beds. I was able to place all the grass in a back are in piles that were bumpy and unsightly. My idea was to have AArdvark blow about 45 yards of compost over the grass chunks so that I could plant wildflowers. Well the two gentlemen, Nick and Zack were enthusiastic and willing to make this work...and they did. They took the time over the course of the 1 1/2 hours to continually ask me if it was looking good, needed more in certain areas...They even took the time to backfill their footsteps as they moved out of an area. this is the second time that i have used aardvark. very pleased again by their service. they were punctual, friendly, and efficient. i liked that they kept me in the loop during the process because there were some areas that needed a thicker layer of bark and other areas, thinner. my yard looks great! the price point was well worth it! this may have been one of Matt Fischer's first jobs as lead but he was great. would definitely have him lead a crew again. his two assistants, don and jordan, may were fantastic as well. they did a great job keeping the barked areas tidy after blowing. i wasn't sure but i think the two of them may have been seasoned employees. they did a matt a solid by letting him interact with me alone. my neighbors love this company as well. i will be calling aardvark again in a few years! read more

They gave me a 6 hour window. When they finished the job before me they called to let me know they were on their way. There were two who came, Vaughn & Dan. Both were very polite, courteous and efficient. My backyard has three terraces. They were exceptionally careful around the plants when blowing. Where they needed to get into tight spots, they hand raked or moved the bark by hand. Both Vaughn & Dan did an exception job of cleaning up also. When they left, there was only a beautiful backyard to look at. No bark anywhere except where it was suppose to be. I would definitely recommend Aardvark Bark for any large jobs. read more

Mark and Kyle were outstanding. They arrived on time, did a walkthrough with me on what I wanted, and explained the process. I purchased 20 yards which covered my massive hill in my backyard, my flower bed in the front yard, the side of the house and even my small tree in the sidewalk area. We have used this company for many years for a very large acre lot with hilled cliff sides surrounding the property. Some spaces are hard to get into. Vaughn always calls ahead and let's us know he is on his way and always shows up on time. He knows our lot very well now and does a fantastic job. He and his team member Jack,made sure everything looked clean and tidy.Jack blew excess bark out of the rock beds and washed all the rock walls and house siding as well as the sidewalks. I scheduled an appointment with Aardvark Bark Blowing for Thursday, April 29. I was told they would arrive between 11 AM and 2 PM. Joe and Austin called me at 9:15 and arrived about 9:40. They were kind, efficient and very respectful of my property. They cleaned off the bark that got on the sidewalks. They sprayed the bark off my plants and the house. This was my first experience with bark blowing and with Aardvark bark. Mark and Reno took great care, attended to the details, and were extremely efficient. They took less than an hour to blow 12 yards around my many plantings, and cleaned up in that time as well.
