We wanted a lot of projects done in our large yard, and Tom was able to come check out the yard right away, get me a written quote the same week, and begin within 1-2 weeks. It was all very quick and super quality work - exactly what we wanted! Jobs completed: removing dead brush and trees/weeding/clear poison ivy, installing new box hedges and 10 privacy trees, clean out garden area and install a new wooden fence, and lastly - the big project - construct a FIRE PIT area with rounded seating. My partner and I hired Tom and his crew for a backyard project. We called for a quote and Tom was very responsive. He came to our home, listened to our goals, and gave us a reasonable quote. (We had obtained quotes from a couple other landscapers and Tom's quote was by far the most inexpensive AND promised more work done!) The one thing I would change is having a more clear written contract about the work. We scheduled for him and his crew for about 1.5 months out- we had called him during peak season in the spring, so he was so booked out. He did have some delays and had to schedule us for two weeks after our first start date. When the time came, Tom and the team arrived on time and ready to work. In four days of work, they did an amazing job: built a retaining wall, a garden bed, tiered garden beds (3) into the hill, stairs to the side of the tiered beds, a fire pit, a beautiful flagstone pathway, added an irrigation line, extended our patio with concrete, and added bark as a finishing touch. I included pictures of BEFORE and AFTER the project. We absolutely LOVE how our yard turned out. Tom took our vision and went with it- and he gave us suggestions and ideas that were very creative and helpful for us in making informed decisions. Tom and his crew were so friendly and kind too. We wanted a half circle driveway installed along with fresh topsoil and bark mulch added to the front of our renovated home. In our house we say, "5-10 minutes early, you are considered "on time", on time, you are considered late, and if you're already late, there's no point in showing up." Punctuality is key in our household as we run a tight ship. He walked the property with us and gave his honest opinion on what could be done and what could wait depending on our budget. He shared with us that since this job was smaller than his current jobs, he could swing by the house again as soon as end of the week to do the job in one afternoon. And let me tell you, they just left earlier this afternoon as promised! What I appreciated most about Tran's Landscaping is witnessing the camaraderie and teamwork they had, their top-of-the-line work ethic, and their kindness. Oh my gosh! Tran's Landscaping has been a HUGE blessing to my family this summer! Based on the positive Yelp reviews we had Tom come out and bid our yard a year or two ago but we weren't ready for the cost. "Teddy" took advantage of my elderly parents. He was hired to remove the shrubs and plants in the front yard and replace it with an artificial lawn. He never gave them a timeframe, told them the yard was half torn up for a few weeks because his crew didn't work in the rain??? And then did a poor job installing the artificial turf. Edges were only tacked down every 2 ft and some plants started growing back causing lumps. A half hearted job for a gold plated price! At first I was very happy with their service last Thursday. Today, Saturday, I went outside to water the bushes that they trimmed pretty well. When I went to turn the water on to water (I can only water Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in Lacey, WA), they had disconnected my hose from the faucet. It had been sitting out in the blazing sun and when I picked it up to reattach to the spigot, I received 2nd degree burns on my fingers. I have NO IDEA why they felt they should disconnect my hose. Maybe they wanted to wash their hands but they should have left it as they found it, i.e., connected to the spigot and I wouldn't be in pretty bad pain right now. read more

After talking to other residents seems like they spent probably half a hr. on it .Shit job My care was covered in crap from there blowers. The pattern of dirt on my car was as if it was directly blown on my car.
