We had some spare time and decided to stop here on the way home from Dublin. It is located conveniently on old 161 and has its own private parking lot. When we walked in, the place had a nice feeling about it. We were greeted by a very helpful sales rep who asked if we were looking for something specific. We were. We were looking for a bottle of Roussane He went above and beyond trying to find us a nice match, which he did succeed in doing. However we are looking for a specific bottle which unfortunately they did not have. The search continues but I bet I come back next week an buy one of the bottles he showed us. Lol. Great place. I'm so happy we discovered this spot! We originally ventured here to grab Ray Ray's BBQ (which has since closed). The owner is so kind and knowledgeable. They hold all sorts of tasting events, on top of their weekly wine tastings offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Wine tastings are $15 and I was impressed with the lineup! The first weekend of the month they donate 20% of the wine tasting fee to a local nonprofit. If looking for a certain bottle, the owner will tell you if it can be purchased in Ohio. Also, if you're looking for NA options, they have a huge selection. Super nice people, we will be back! read more

I did not eat at this location, I live in the Portland, OR. Area & needed to put together a present for a relative in Columbus. In contacting Aardvark, I spoke with Donny who helped me choose the wines for the gift. Donny is very knowledgeable in the field of wines that I wished to choose, and the whole transaction went extremely well from beginning to end. He even volunteered to deliver the gift to its recipient, which is, & was greatly appreciated by me. Make no bones about it, I will be using Aardvark Wine & Beer for my next wine needs. I saw this place on social media and loved the name. I ordered 6 bottles of assorted wine for pick up. They have delivery but I'm not in the area. I got a call because I had mistakenly put the wrong date (a week ahead of what I wanted) and they were confirming since my preferred date was right before NYE. I was happy they checked. During pickup, the staff was great. We checked out the champagne, and also the beer selection. I'm always happy to shop the independent places, and I recently joined their wine club (2 bottles a month for $30). They are right across the street from JT's Pizza. I believe this is under JT's Grab and Go on Yelp (maybe former name?). read more

Stopped in for their weekend wine tasting with a few friends! $10 for four, pretty large pours. They had two whites and two reds. All bottles were pretty affordable on the tasting, one even as low as $9.99. The employees were super knowledgeable about the wines featured in the tasting and super accommodating to our group! Inside has 3 tables with 4-6 stools at each table. If you do not want to participate in the tasting, you can also purchase wine or beer and just hang out :) They found us extra chairs (group of 8) and even suggested a NA option for one of our friends (without us asking, which was so kind and thoughtful). Went to Aardvark's and one tasting (Friday and Saturday nights - 4 pours for $10) with a group of 8 on Saturday night. They have a parking lot which made it easily accessible. They are definitely a wine and beer store but offer a few tables in the middle for you to sit and enjoy a drink at. The inside is still cute despite being a store and had other patrons at tables most of the time we were there. Their wine tasting was a decent deal - the pours being equal to 1.5-2 actual glasses of wine themselves at varying price points. They were very friendly and accommodating (got extra chairs for our large group), and could give a good overview of the wine itself and what to expect. The choices were a good balance of profiles and included two white wines and two reds and at affordable price points. Overall, would definitely recommend! read more

They charge a fee if you use a card: their prices are the same as other stores who do not charge a fee to use a card. Anyways, I used a debit card and found out, after, I was charged a fee. They did offer to refund my charge and I could pay with cash but I did not have enough cash on me. In my experience, this is the ONLY store I have EVER been charged a fee for using a debit card or credit card. It just feels greedy.

A well run establishment knows that in order to do proper business, you absorb transaction fees.

I really enjoy this place and I've been visiting more and more often these days. It's just such a chill wine bar. The vibes are always on point, the staff is lovely (shoutout Chelsea for always being awesome), their selection is great, and the prices are fair. If you ever want to enjoy some food while sipping a glass you can order it from Hubbard Grill next door and they'll bring it over to you. If you want some entertainment during your visit, they have a TV but the people watching on High St is prime time. They also have an upstairs which is perfect if you have a party. Give them a visit next time you're in need of a relaxing time and a glass of your favorite wine.

Once we realized we didn't, we went downstairs to order our drinks and food at the bar. I had the braised beef sliders with brussel sprouts and they were so good! The food is from Hubbard Grill so that's a fun addition. The wine section is vast, but there is a corkage fee of around $12 for any bottle bought in the store that you want to drink.

I thought the red wines were much better (and drier) than the whites, and particularly enjoyed the Landon Noir. They also have cider and wine slushies. They are open on Fridays and Saturdays only. They have a small stage area for live music, and most people brought their own chairs and blankets for seating outdoors.

We love the dry red options as well as some of the dry whites. Would highly recommend stopping by for a visit.
