We stayed in this bed & breakfast during our road-trip through Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Used to live in Lamberville NJ, right across the river, so familar with the area. Very nice area. The B&B was clean and nicely decorated. Loved the host and the nice breakfast. Walking around brought back fond memories of my younger days; used to ride my stand-up jet ski on the river. Definitely will come back if I get a chance. Wonderful experience at this bed and breakfast.

Forget sterile hotel chains! This is how hospitality should feel. The Aaron Burr House is warm, walkable, and all things delicious. Ricardo doesn't just run the establishment, he elevates it. Breakfast? More like a love letter to your taste buds. He handcrafts yogurt and bread so good it'll ruin you for store-bought forever. Every corner of the house whispers intention, not imitation. And Ricardo's stories? Just as rich as his menu. Stay here if you like your getaways with soul, style, and a little culinary seduction.

We had such an amazing stay here! Ricardo was such an amazing host and made sure we were comfortable and was able to accommodate my picky eater. The location was ideal and a short walk from Main Street. I would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area, or like us, anyone looking for a staycation. Thank you for an incredible stay!

The Aaron Burr house is a lovely, quaint, cozy B&B in the heart of New Hope. Extremely clean and comfortable accommodations. Ricardo was a gracious and attentive host, not to mention an excellent chef! Breakfast was delicious for both days, those who had dietary needs or restrictions at the table were accommodated. We were in the Hamilton room, pictured here. Lovely room with plenty of space. We parked the car and never moved it! Everything was in walking distance. We went into town, as well as over the bridge into Lambertville. Relaxing, beautiful trip. Will definitely return!

    Lovely sitting area for guests.

We've been trying to get a reservation here for months and it's always booked. We lucked out and got room 6 Sunday night. Ricardo greeted us when we checked in and was kind and we appreciated his hospitality. He had a lot of great info for the happenings at the Peddlers village. He made us an amazing breakfast before our travels Monday morning. New hope is a historic town full of unique shops , restaurants and buildings. We love it and already have another reservation to go back!

The Aaron Burr House is a very cool spot to see. Especially magical in the winter during golden hour because the whole house lights up.

The Aaaron Burr House is truly a historical treasure. My spouse and I were so grateful to spend the night in such a clean and quaint room. We stayed in the Hamilton room with working fireplace. The Inn Keeper Lisa was so friendly and attentive. In the morning she makes breakfast that was most delicious. I'm still thinking about her pancakes. She makes a gluten free version as well. Overall I would highly recommend the Aaron Burr house for it central location to town, quaint ambiance and Lisa's amazing breakfast

Awesome birthday getaway! Clean, comfortable, beautiful! Lisa is a wonderful cook and hostess! Fun town as well!

Home away from home, amazing food!!! My fiance and I stayed in the Schyler Suite for the weekend, and it was amazing! This was our first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast, and Lisa took such great care of us. She makes (delicious!) breakfast for guests each morning, and usually has some sort of treat (brownies, coffee cake, etc) out for snacks all day/night! She is so welcoming, she made us feel like guests in her home. The Aaron Burr House is located just blocks from main street, such easy access to so many amazing restaurants and shops. We HIGHLY recommend staying at the Aaron Burr house during your trip to New Hope. It's only one day later, and we already cannot wait to go back!!!

Sitting on the front porch at the main house and watching the storm is one of my fondest memories. Fast forward to 2024. My fiance and I decided to stay for a weekend. As soon as I walked in, the owners recognized me! With all the business they get, I was really surprised. And it was wonderful that they still owned it. Since it was spring, the grounds were full of brand-new flowers and the trees were blossoming. The scents were amazing and everything was so pretty. There were some fun statues on the property as well. I've only ever stayed in the Main House. They have everything from your basic, fairly small rooms (By basic I do NOT mean bad or boring!) to beautiful suites with balconies, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. Every single room in the Main House looks as though you've stepped back in time, but there are some updates. For example, they have added a big breakfast room. And the breakfasts are still very good, including the fresh fruit. And the smell of coffee... Heaven. Downtown New Hope is just a short walk down the hill. Lambertville (NJ) is right across the Delaware River, and you can walk or drive. I can't wait to go back again, and this time I won't be waiting another 29 years!

First the good: although the location is on a heavily trafficked road, the house is set back far enough so the car noise is not apparent. The innkeeper, Kathy, is very hospitable. She was in touch with us prior to our visit, as we travelled to the B&B and welcomed us when we arrived. She also prepared a good breakfast on our first morning. She also was attentive when our fireplace didn't work. After we notified her, she came to the room and got it working. Now the 'ok' about this place: the home is furnished nicely, but it reminded me of my grandmother's house - The furniture was a bit tired. The place was clean, but clearly could use sprucing up. There wasn't a comfortable sitting area in the main part of the house, which is a must for a good B&B. The room we stayed was spacious, but was a bit tired. One item of note was that there was no housekeeping service for the room which was odd given that there was only one other guest in residence. We asked for clean towels for our second day and they were delivered, but left in the sitting area along with our unmade bed - odd? Overall, I'm sure that the off season nature of our stay was a contributing factor, but my feeling after our stay at Fox & Hound was 'meh'.

The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra.
