    Chicago Old Fashioned!
    Luis R.

Came for drinks after scrolling around New Hope and Lambertville's shops. We ordered a Chicago Old Fashioned (based on mezcal instead of bourbon) and a Pumpkin Spice Martini. Both were amazing, very well put together. Great flavor and like always great service from the bartender. This place is always very cozy, great ambiance and amazing drinks. Would definitely recommend.

We came early in the night on a whim for restaurant week. We had the room to ourselves through appetizers which was very nice. Our waitress was attentive and we had a wonderful time. The food was all fantastic. 0 notes. It got busier as the night went on. We were off to Peddlers Village anyway. I honestly worry about blowing up this spot. It is a true hidden gem. We will be back soon.

Hemingway vibes at the cozy bar. Food is fabulous!

Rooms were large, well renovated with fireplace, patio and whirlpool tub. Most impressive was the excellent service and libations served by the bartender. I think his name was Danny - his Fall Fashioned was the best I've ever had!

PROS - staff is very friendly and attentive - good food options - great for drinks/wine - clean space CONS - none really Toured a little around lambertville and stopped here for a quick bite. It's a solid place with a decent menu of options for everyone. Great for a nice meal while passing through. Food tastes really fresh and great wine and drinks options. Everything was lovely.

Stopped into the cozy side room at lambertville house after a bike ride with the family for snacks & cocktails & catching up. The cozy couches & armchairs made for a great, relaxed vibe & service was good. The french onion soup absolutely hit the spot with a perfectly crusty cheesy top (although, the soup could have been a BIT thicker for my liking), and the cheese board was great for sharing. I also can never say no to an espresso martini - especially one shaken table side! The taste was a little too sweet for me, but I am definitely picky about my espresso martinis. While this spot probably doesn't stand out as my favorite in lambertville (there's some competition for sure in the neighborhood!), it was definitely a nice spot for a big group to be able to all sit together and chat around a round table setup! ***2 1/2 stars*** This was one of the strangest meals I've experienced in recent memory. My top tier chums and I came here for dinner this past Saturday night around 6:30pm. I'd been here before once years ago, and recall having a pretty positive lunchtime experience in the cozy front room with a charcuterie board. This was unfortunately not as good. We were led to a dining room toward the left-hand side of the building, which had a wall of wine bottles on one side (one or two bottles were noticeably missing, dinting the otherwise pleasing optic), and a view of the street on the other. It was pretty empty in there, with maybe two or three other tables occupied - the outdoor seating on the porch was bustling, so it may just depend where you end up seated in the restaurant. We ordered two apps to split - the grilled octopus and charcuterie. The octopus was very divisive at our table. I liked it better than anyone else did (mostly because of the sauce or seasoning that it was cooked in), but even with that flavoring the texture was very rubbery. One chum actually spit out her one bite into a napkin, which I've never seen her do before. The charcuterie was okay; you can see from the accompanying picture that everything had a bit of a greasy shine to it, which wasn't particularly appetizing (the cheese closest to the camera was massively sweating), but I can't say the taste of it was bad. There were a few items I wasn't interested in consuming, notably the mustard and pickles, but that's a personal palate issue more than anything else. I went with the short ribs entrée, which was underwhelming. A big part of it for me was the texture - top-tier short ribs should be tender and flaky, but this just wasn't. It didn't fall apart easily and required a lot of extra work with my knife. It was also on the bland side, and I didn't finish it. The garlic mashed potatoes that accompanied it were probably the highlight for me, and I'd argue that if your side is overshadowing the main course on the plate, that's a problem. I want to be as charitable as I can here, but our waitress was very awkward and there seemed to be a huge disconnect with her throughout the evening. She WAS nice as far as it goes, but if you had told me it was her first or second day on the job, I wouldn't have had trouble believing that. There were two significant issues that cropped up during the meal with her. The first was when my friend ordered the shrimp tacos as her entrée. Literally half an hour after she ordered them, the waitress told her they had run out of tacos. Okay, things happen. My friend then pivoted and ordered a chicken-based entrée. When the entrees all came out, guess what showed up? The shrimp tacos. Everyone was confused, especially when the waitress offered to bring the chicken out too. We still have no idea what happened, other than an assumption that the waitress was initially incorrect about the lack of taco inventory. And you can make the argument that ultimately that's a happy ending for my chum who ended up getting what she wanted, but it did speak to the serious communication issues that went on throughout this meal. The last problem was worse though. We gave her our credit cards to split equally three ways. She came back apologetically and said she wasn't able to do that. Instead, she ended up charging me for 66% of it, one friend 33%, and the other friend got off scot-free. If she was unsure how to process the credit cards correctly, there were two obvious, superior options - she should have sought assistance from another employee in the restaurant (I assume Lambertville House employs at least one staffer who can split a bill three ways), or come back to the table to let us know the issue so we could make an updated decision on how to handle it. If you can't do it, the answer shouldn't be to do it incorrectly and just drop the cards back off with us to sort it out. Very unprofessional and shouldn't have happened. We made some very pleasant memories in Lambertville/New Hope this past weekend, but overall the general impression of the establishments we frequented was overrated with mediocre food. This was the epitome of that.

    Nancy and our drinks.

Temperature perfect, the sauce!!! and the carrots julienned with the best spice and maybe a pinch of brown sugar (tried guessing because it was so good, these were not carrots ! So much more. And a purple potato mash that was ... I mean everything was beyond our hopes. We chose the fresh fruit desert that had a very unusual combination, 2 of which I'd never had before. I'm now a convert. We were served by Tracy clearly and expert (warm but not making herself the focus) with Brady in training and already up to speed. Some things I noticed. When food came out the whole kitchen came out and served everybody at once! How refreshing to see that. All servers were attentive and paying attention to the entire room. No one felt unnoticed and forgotten. The wonderful woman behind the desk at the entryway, took us on a tour of the event space with complete joy and enthusiasm. She didn't seem put out at all in fact I wanted to just hang out with her for a while. So welcoming. The second we walked in the door everyone said hello to us as if they had known us for years! We just moved here. We had never been there in our lives. The property is perfectly maintained, makes quite a statement, and the new converted barn was my dream barn. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet all the sheep on the property. If any guests come to visit us in our new home in French Town, we're going to recommend they stay there in one of the cottages possibly or the in itself so that they can have the ultimate comfort and the elegance. They would expect in an overnight that I fear, our guest room will not lend itself to. I want to get married again so I can get married there! I want to eat there once a week! Gratitude to my niece who we asked for a recommendation of where we should eat for a nice meal to celebrate my husband, after a big achievement. She has lived here for three years and as a trained nutritionist and chef herself. She said the only place you should go is the Woolverton Inn and its New Restaurant. She will be receiving a gift! Lastly, I was so overwhelmed upon entering the restored barn that I forgot the name of the elegant man who received us with such grace. He's a gracious host and constantly circulated the room keeping an eye on the flow with light personnel suggestions ( potato soup with lobster next time! I promise) and birthday wishes for a large families grandmother. Go, enjoy, stay there, eat there, bring friends there! Bon apetite!

The Lambertville Station is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway or a girls' weekend thanks to their lovely rooms and extremely comfy beds. We were given a room on the first floor with the most perfect view of the river and part of Lambertville, and I almost forgot that this was the middle of my winter depression season. The fireplace and self serve bar when you enter really give you a nice place to settle you into your vacation. Then they are surrounded by delicious restaurants and cafes to visit for a quick bite. Although make sure to get your free breakfast because it come from a nearby Parisian bakery and although the coffee is as bad as Dunkin Donuts, the pastries are divine. I highly recommend doing a few vineyards after checking in, but if you don't want to go far, Tomasello's has tastings and so does the Food Hall on the side of New Hope (which is walking distance). We also liked that they kept our bags after check out so we could get a massage and therefore leave New Hope in complete serenity. There is also tons of free parking, which is nice compared to downtown Philly hotels where that is usually extra. Overall, I thought it was a lovely stay, we stayed in the Cape May room (I also like that each room has a name) and enjoyed the dark and creepy old vibes from the hotel. It truly made you feel like a part of the historic area.

The indoor space is divided into the lively 'Good & Plenty' bar area with several TVs for sports, the speakeasy-style 'Whiskey Lounge' specializing in bespoke cocktails, a slightly quieter 'Landmark Tavern' main dining room, and a cozy private dining room upstairs for special occasions. Overall, it's a very versatile spot that can be sophisticated enough in the 'Whiskey Lounge' for a date, casual enough in the 'Landmark Tavern' for a family meal, and energetic enough in the 'Good & Plenty' bar for beers with appetizers or a burger while watching a game. We visited for brunch on New Year's Day 2026, and the food was spot on. I had the Grilled Chicken Avocado BLT ($20) sandwich on a sourdough roll with applewood-smoked bacon and a side of truffle-dusted shoestring fries -- that was absolutely delicious. My dining companion has raved about the Logan Inn Omelet ($18), packed with bacon, spinach, and cheddar cheese as well as the Breakfast Burrito ($22) stuffed with scrambled eggs, mildly spicy chorizo sausage, and salsa verde. The cocktail program here is exceptional with a curated selection of craft spirits and innovative, seasonal cocktail options that feel both modern and sophisticated. A true standout during brunch is the Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary cart. It's such a fun, interactive touch -- a server wheels the cart directly to your table to craft your drink right in front of you which allows you customize every detail from the perfect level of heat to an impressive spread of garnishes. Each cocktail we have tried was expertly balanced and served as the perfect accompaniment to our meal. To top off the experience, service has been excellent--attentive and professional without being overbearing. It is worth mentioning that when I booked the reservation on OpenTable, I indicated that my dining companion and I were celebrating our anniversary (of our first date). The hostess and our server wished us a happy anniversary and gave us a more secluded table overlooking the bar-- an obvious sign of a well-trained staff that focuses on the details and shows an appreciation for their customers. Pro Tip #1: Parking in New Hope is always a challenge, but the Logan Inn offers two hours of complimentary valet parking for Landmark Tavern visitors. Just text when you're ready to leave, and they'll have your car waiting at the door. There's also plenty of street parking. You can pay via the ParkMobile app whether you park in the small private parking lot adjacent to the Ferry Market food hall, one of the nearby public lots (Union Square Lot @ 123 West Bridge Street), or metered on-street parking. Parking in one of the public lots or on the street in New Hope is $3.00/hour (up to a maximum of 3 hours) plus a $0.45 service charge for using the ParkMobile app

We got a table by the fireplace, and our server was hilarious and attentive. I ordered the Smoke & Rye toast as my main dish with a side of truffle fries and broccolini. Let me tell you, I've never had broccolini so perfectly cooked. I could have eaten it for every meal for the rest of my life. The main dish, however, was not great. They really shouldn't even put it on the menu -- the toast was too thin for all the toppings, and the tomatoes were mealy. My mom loved her Pork sandwich though, so I think I just ordered the wrong thing. Drinks were excellent. I had the Snowball old fashioned and then the Coconut hot chocolate in a cute Santa mug.
