As soon as I stepped onto the property, I knew this place was the one for us. Plus it is family-run, making it warm and welcoming. Every detail in their renovations and planning has been carefully thought out. We were able to have our welcome reception, wedding, and farewell brunch all at Fox Briar - which made logistics easy, and a handful of our closest family and friends at the Inn for the weekend. Donna made the planning process easy and kept everything running smoothly the day of. Kendall is an incredible innkeeper and made everyone feel welcome and cared for - and her baked goods are to die for! The Inn itself is super clean and comfortable - all the rooms are beautiful but the bridal suite in particular is gorgeous and truly special. Small enough to feel like you own the place even with others staying there. Close enough to town (whichever one you choose) to be awesome for the location. Service was outstanding. Everywhere you look the attention to detail is amazing and the public space really makes you feel like you are at home.

From the moment we arrived, and until the moment we left, Lori was so exceptionally kind and incredibly gracious to us! Also, she's got the cutest dog in the whole world. The dog lives separately from the actual Inn, so we requested to meet the dog, and she was kind enough to give us that opportunity. Major bonus for us, because we love dogs. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Aaron Burr House Bed and Breakfast. The location is an ideally situated property just steps from all of the action and epitomizes what one imagines as a quintessential north eastern B&B. This historic home is impeccably maintained and appointed and indulges guests with cozy, warm and inviting spaces. We stayed in the beautiful Schuyler room which offered a super comfortable 4-post bed, gorgeous antique furniture, a fireplace, a sweet little seating nook next to the bay windows with views of the quaint neighborhood and a door to the outside that would be perfect for guests accompanied by a pet. The stay comes with daily breakfast, at 9AM, which is served in the communal dining area. The meals are expertly prepared by Ricardo Gonzalez, the innkeeper, and are truly a beautiful way to start the day. Ricardo is not serving up your average fare. We were treated to a delicious oatmeal bar with a variety of delectable toppings, gorgeous banana bread french toast with fresh whip and berries, spinach quiche, sausage, poached apples with warm, silky caramel, luscious fruit options and even a homemade yogurt with layers of granola and honey. All homemade and every bite better than the last! Ricardo is much more than a typical innkeeper, he embodies the warmth and grace that you immediately feel upon entering the inn. We were spoiled with a bit of a tour of this landmark site and intrigued by his stories about local history, the amazing decor/antiques, his background and he even offered some great tips for activities and shops to visit in the area. He made this experience so much more special in every way! If you are looking for a fun and unique weekend getaway destination, whether it be with friends, couples, a family or even alone, I HIGHLY recommend the Aaron Burr Bed & Breakfast in New Hope!! When a snowstorm threatened to disrupt our visit, he prioritized cleaning our rooms in order to allow us to check in early. The rooms are large and despite the frigid temperatures, kept surprisingly toasty. The bathrooms are clean and the towels did not feel like sandpaper. In the morning, Jeff served us made to order omelettes in front of a roaring fire. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Ash Mill to others.

In my opinion the owner has no idea what he is doing. Our room had a filthy hot tub that we had to clean before we used it, a broken toilet seat, and broken glass panels at the back door, where the smell of the pasture and barn would waft in. We were allowed by one of the innkeepers, Joe, to go into the pasture and visit with the animals; however, we weren't told about Poe, the goat who tends to attack people (both my fiance and I experienced that firsthand). Even one of the wedding vendors admitted that she'd gotten bruises from Poe butting into her hip. I was accused by the owner of having had "too many mimosas" when I spoke to him regarding the issues I had (such as Poe being dangerous and a liability, especially to small children who could easily get into the pasture). I have an autoimmune disease and CANNOT have alcohol. My doctors can easily vouch for that. I had plain orange juice. To accuse me of that was rude, unprofessional and out of line. But what should I expect from someone who, instead of helping out with the Wedding Expo, was rolling around the pasture with his animals and their excrement for much of the time? And the so-called "Expo" was small. Very small. One DJ, no live bands, three examples of "sweetheart" tables, three examples of guests' tables, main courses that we couldn't taste, no option for a cash bar or alcohol-free, a tent that seemed like it was going to blow away since it was a windy day...It was very underwhelming. Just don't bother with this place.

If any guests come to visit us in our new home in French Town, we're going to recommend they stay there in one of the cottages possibly or the in itself so that they can have the ultimate comfort and the elegance. Different rooms have a balcony or whirlpool tub or fireplace. They also give each room a nice little bottle of anisette to drink and chocolates and/or cookies.

Sitting on the front porch at the main house and watching the storm is one of my fondest memories. Fast forward to 2024. My fiance and I decided to stay for a weekend. As soon as I walked in, the owners recognized me! With all the business they get, I was really surprised. And it was wonderful that they still owned it. Since it was spring, the grounds were full of brand-new flowers and the trees were blossoming. The scents were amazing and everything was so pretty. There were some fun statues on the property as well. I've only ever stayed in the Main House. They have everything from your basic, fairly small rooms (By basic I do NOT mean bad or boring!) to beautiful suites with balconies, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. Every single room in the Main House looks as though you've stepped back in time, but there are some updates. For example, they have added a big breakfast room. And the breakfasts are still very good, including the fresh fruit. And the smell of coffee... Heaven. Downtown New Hope is just a short walk down the hill. Lambertville (NJ) is right across the Delaware River, and you can walk or drive. I can't wait to go back again, and this time I won't be waiting another 29 years!
