Long story short: we made the switch after swarms at our house were getting more frequent and our previous pest control company that we had a termite bond with just wasn't cutting it. After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. All in all, we're happy with the service and recommend them for termite bonds. Every employee that's serviced our home has been on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE IS TERRIBLE…read more First, I'll start this review by explaining when the issues started. I have been a customer with pioneer since I bought my house in 2022 in Deland. I paid for both the pest control and lawn care from them. They were great until this year. First, my lawn was starting to die in several areas to which they suggested having an irrigation technician come out and look at my sprinkler system. I agreed and the tech came out and suggested a solution and I agreed and paid for it. This did not remedy my lawn so I contacted them again. I was explained that the old technician that was working on my lawn was fired for doing improper treatments. I addressed this with the company in February / March and then asked about cancelling my lawn service since my lawn was dying anyways. They asked if it would be ok to have a manager come out and talk with me to which I agreed. One gentleman's name was Eddie and I did not get the other one's name. Eddie made an agreement with me to come out and replace all the heads in my sprinkler system along with fixing a sprinkler head that was not fixed back when I paid for it to be fixed. He then said that the lawn technician would come out and do a treatment and they assured me that they would get my lawn back in working order. It is now July and I have not received any contact from the company. I have called on 4 different occasions and left a message for a manager to contact me. I have also wrote a few emails that was only answered once with "I'll look into it and get back with you." Since the start of this they just stopped showing up and have not tried to reach out. This is very disappointing because the company has been great up until an issue was addressed and their answer to customer service was to just ignore the customer and hopefully they go away. I would like to add that I was professional and polite with them through all of this and never once gave them an issue. But if this is how a company deals with a problem then I think everyone else should know. I do not recommend using this company.

I sent a request for quote / availability through Yelp at 3:00am during a sleepless night of what…read moresounded like a large rodent scratching through my attic door. I got a response before 7am and someone was out by 11am. I was impressed by the quick response and showing up on time a couple days before the holiday. Nestor, the tech who came out was friendly, respecting of our home and in my mind conducted one of the most thorough and honest free estimates. We have a pest contract with another company and he suggested we reach out to them as well to see if they would handle, what we thought to be a raccoon as to not violate our contract. He went into the attic (helping me move boxes so we could get into the second attic entrance) and found that it was a rat caught in a trap and it happened to be right on top of our hallway attic entrance flopping around. I was able to call my pest control company and they removed the rat and rechecked entry points and helped seal other potential areas that Nestor pointed out to me during the inspection. I would not hesitate to call them in the future and have reached out regarding a treatment for the attic to neutralize the rat feces.

ABC Home made a in-person consultation with us immediately. Jimmy the representative was so kind and took Covid seriously. He easily identified all our open access points on our home and came up with a decisive plan to help us get rid of our squirrel problem without harming them. Their prices were honest. He even told me a little about their company and made me like them even more. We decided to go with this company and it was a great decision. He immediately got us scheduled as soon as he would with their guy Alex. He came out a few days later and he set up the one way exit and sealed all the holes. We had no squirrel problem within days. After the squirrels were gone he came back and sealed the holes for good. This price also included a one year warranty so I can rest assured. I really appreciate this company's service and will be sharing them with everyone.

She just doesn't care about customers at all and has a really bad attitude. She is obviously a bitter, old lady angry with how her life turned out. Despite this horrible lady on the phone, I used their service once. So they send out this pest control tech named Chris who was obviously drunk and reeked of alcohol. That was it for them. I hired Aaron's where you actually have professional nice people you deal with on the phone and they don't send out drunk pest control techs. You have been warned about this company.
