When I woke up with no water in our house we had to find someone that could get our well pump back up and running. I looked over reviews for several companies and felt comfortable with what others were saying about Blackwelder. Brian was able to work me into their schedule the same day and got my pump back up and going in a very short time. They went over and above to make sure I was taken care of at a very reasonable price. Had some work done by Blackwelder Pump and Irrigation, but was not fixed right. It has been a complete nightmare getting Brian the owner to come back and complete the work. He constantly lies about when he will come and he never shows up. Legal action will probably be needed as this is the absolute worst company I ever dealt with. AVOID BLACKWELDER PUMP AND IRRIGATION!!! read more

My name is Michael and I am delayed in expressing gratitude but I felt compelled to tell people about my experience. My well cut out about ten minutes before everyone closed for the holiday. I was getting fussed out by the family who were already asking about hotels in the area. I was in a jam! He was six hours away and declined the job but before I hung up he said if I really get stuck to call him back. Well I got stuck after calling anybody I could find that works on wells no one would or could help. I call this guy back in desperation and not only did he help me get it fixed but he refused any compensation. I have never met this guy but if your basing your decision on character and dependability I would say you have found the right company. I could not get my own well service to help and this guy, who I have never worked with, took the call the second time. Thank you Brian! Impressive customer service. read more

I called and spoke to owner. He came out next day and trimmed hedges and weed eat. I canceled service on 4-2-18. Now i received a bill for 40.00 service on 3-16-18. Then another 40.09 service for 3-30-18. Plus TAX. I've never paid tax for labor. Only paying the 40.00 more dollars to complete my 80.00 a month agreement. Will not recommend again This is how the company responded Here's the actual way things work. Invoices are sent on the first Friday of every month. They all go out at one time. They are spread out so if you don't get it on Friday you will get it sometime in the next couple days after. All work up to that point is billed as the previous month. So the 3-2 job was on a Friday so it counted as the last month. So 40 for that is correct. Then we service your yard twice this month. So $40 per service would give you the $80 a month. As far as sales tax.... umm why would I pay your taxes? Some one will end up paying those taxes if you don't. The fact that you "have never paid tax on labor" is just you not understanding the charges you received. I can hide the tax and charge more or just label it as tax. Any amount not paid after 30 days will begin to accrue interest. I deal with people all the time who think they aren't going to pay. You want to cancel that's fine. I agree. But don't try me on a public forum and then expect me to just bend to your will and only accept half of what you owe me.

And I'm so glad I did, for 2 key reasons: 1.) IT WORKS: From a purely functional perspective, the treatment definitely helps keep pests at bay. For the first few weeks after we moved into the house, spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs were nearly everyday occurrences (as they tend to be in Florida). After Royal Palm treated, it felt like we had our house back. We pay for quarterly treatments, and while they offer free interim treatments if we notice an uptick in pests in the home, we've never had to avail ourselves of that offer. If we ever see an insect in the house, it's rare, and they've usually given up the ghost by the time we find them. 2.) CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SPECTACULAR: They always call US to schedule our quarterly treatments, which is a nice perk because I'd never remember. They're always friendly and professional. And our technician (Craig) is a super nice guy. Very efficient, always on time, AND he wears booties over his shoes when he comes into the house, which is such a nice touch. We like to maintain a "shoe-free" home to keep the floors clean, but we don't typically ask guests to remove their shoes because we don't want to make folks feel uncomfortable. So the fact that he wears paper booties over his shoes as a matter of course is just an incredibly thoughtful thing to do. Again, highly recommended!

I highly recommend them if you need help fixing your well. I'm confident Blackwelder Pump and Irrigation can figure out and fix whatever problem you might have. I had previously been dealing with a well company located in Winter Park that had tried to fix my well over 4 times or visits charging me over 3, 000.00 yet never fixing the well. It would run for about a week then break down. I had decided to get an estimate on putting in a new well so Blackwelder was one of the company's I called. Mr Blackwelder immediately impressed me with his knowledge of wells and how they operate. He insisted on coming out and seeing if he could fix our well before giving me an estimate on a new one. We had Mr. Blackweder do a complete pool and pool yard makeover. He was very timely and professional. Very quick to respond to any issues, though very few arose. We opted to have the new pool finish done in black. Upon inspection it turned out that black pool finishes are not permitted in Florida. Without hesitation Mr. Blackwelder came out immediately and drained the pool and refinished it in blue. Blackwelder was recommended to me by McMasters lawn to fix my submersible pump for my sprinklers. I called them about 11:00 am. I was advised they would be there at 1:00pm. when Brian got here he did routine check to the Pump and it was bad. With in one hour he had the pump removed a new one installed and running. The young man who came out (Nick) was courteous, prompt, and knew his stuff! Their price is more than reasonable, and based on the service I received, I will never use anyone else for my plumbing/water needs in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
