It was a long while to get done due to their backlog and COVID resource rework, but after the 4 hour install of everything, it looks and functions perfectly. There was a safety issue and also it needed a "custom" touch so that furniture could be moved up and down stairs in a very tight spot. I was so thrilled at how the banister came out that I hired them to make a custom "Dutch" front door for me based on lots of pictures I'd obtained from Etsy and Pinterest. I shopped all over for a door like this and the standard Home Depot version was the only one I could find and I didn't like it. Peglars designed the most amazing door including all my "wish list" items and incorporating specialty hardware I bought off Etsy. I absolutely LOVE my front door. Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. He promised to have the work completed in a timely manner once I moved in to my remodel. I moved in and sure enough, he stopped coming around, telling me he would finish certain days, but would never show up to finish. I asked him nicely when my cabinet doors would go in, after the extra 6 weeks, we are on month 8 by this time, and again, more excuses. I grew impatient in the conversation and asked him sternly to give me a date, then he fired back texting me insults, called me names, told me I was materialistic and selfish. He even had the audacity to tell me he was going to take ME to court, because I was "too demanding". This man is a joke, very unprofessional. He made threats saying he would walk out on my job, I told him to go ahead and walk out, he was no longer welcome in my home. I had been nice, patient, for more than 8 months.
