Well C did anyway.... I am not a big jewelry guy. Just my wedding ring and my Apple Watch is all I ever need They had an amazing selection and we spent a good amount of time just browsing around. I bet there are 10,000 pieces of jewelry here. The shopkeeper was very patient with us and spent a lot of time telling us about the different jewelry. C found a Tourmaline Ring here that was classified as a "watermelon style". Unique to the stone as it has a pink center, surrounded by a green ring or "rind", mimicking a slice of watermelon. I don't remember what she paid for it exactly, but I did remember thinking she may have been taken advantage of on it. Later in our trip, we stopped by another jewelry store and the shop keeper noticed her new ring and made a big deal about it. Looking around at his prices, she apparently did very well because I remember rings not as nice as hers being $500 plus. She did not pay anywhere near that. Solid visit! He deals with the customer one on one, no interruptions! We paid 1/2 & anticipated paying the other 1/2 plus being in our own place within the next few months. Well, this didn't happen. We struggled to make ends meet. Living on 1 lowly income. Waiting on benefits forever. John was great! I would not expect anyone to allow this time of pay off & storing this. We kept in touch to let him know what was going on. He had no issues with this. He understood our hardships & knew we would pay. John is awesome & a great business owner!
