First of all the cell phone service around this area is horrible which was annoying so I couldn't get or send any texts to friend's & family while I was in the store. It was very warm in here when I was shopping, due to their AC being broken. I was surprised to find some racks with clothes for bigger ladies & found a few things that I liked & took them to the dressing room but only ended up liking one of the items which I ended up buying. The young girl working the dressing room wasn't very friendly. I had to say "hi" to her twice before she returned a "hi" back to me. She just seemed miserable. They have a huge beauty department with lots of nice & fun products. I found some of the same products that I had seen @ TJ Max here so if you can't find what your looking for check their sister store. Their purse section wasn't that big but their night gowns, slippers, bra's & underwear section right next to the beauty products was fully loaded. They did have some beauty clearance items which I found some whitening tooth paste for only $4.00 per bottle which was a steal I bought 2 bottles. I then ventured onto the kitchen area which was also stocked with lots of stuff even their snacks/food area. It had been a few yrs since I was last in here & I need to remember to hit this location up when I want to go to a Marshalls as its got a lot of merchandise in here. They always had a good selection of ladies clothing and accessories. I also enjoyed shopping in their cosmetics and fragrances department for skincare and cosmetic items. The clerks at the counters were helpful with beauty tips and were very knowledgeable about the products they were selling. They had good deals on a lot of items in the store and the signage on their sale items really helped as far as finding good bargains. I will definitely miss this Macy's store.

As a dog owner, you inevitably go through hundreds of dog toys in the year. It's imperative to get dog toys at an affordable price due to the rate my dogs chew through their toys. I was able to pick up 4 dog toys for under $10!! In my book, Kohls will also have a special place in my heart for inexpensive dog toys and for providing me with a physical Sephora store in an area void of many shopping options.

So I drove back to my house, scurried through the trash and found the receipt for the shoes that I bought on sale. Instead of trying to help, she was very rude and claimed that I didn't have the price tag which was in my car because it fell out of my shoes.. Instead she rolled her eyes and told me that I just had it. Meanwhile, another nice older employee came over and helped me out by just punching in the code manually like she could of done in the first place instead of being rude. Hats off to the older woman for being so helpful and respectful!

And later as I'm walking around, I notice all the business say no bathroom on the outside of their door. Not even if you're a customer. A lot of homelessness that has made it difficult for paying customers to use the bathrooms. I had my baby with me in a carrier, and from the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being closely watched. While I was in the dressing room trying on clothes, I was talking softly to my baby to comfort her. The employee stood right outside the dressing room and was giggling at what I was saying, which made it very clear she was listening and hovering nearby. Instead of feeling like a customer, I felt like I was being monitored, as if there was concern I might steal something. And then as I came out of the fitting room and let her know I didn't find anything and thanked her, she went straight into the room, I have no doubt to make sure I didn't steal anything. As a mom just trying to shop with her baby, this felt really discouraging and unwelcoming. I left feeling uncomfortable and out of place. I hope the boutique can work on creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers.

When trying things on she urged us to be careful with the dresses as if saying they wouldn't fit and then allowed absolutely no kind customer service to shine through in our interaction. While we could hear her interactions with other customers as sub par customer service, we were disappointed by how she acted towards us considering we are frequent customers. This was a very unfriendly experience and environment and I hope nobody else has an interaction like that!
