I write this with regret as we always try to support a local business over the big box companies…read more After a week of interaction I would avoid this company. Lot of good talk but that's all. We scheduled their service guy well in advance but got no notice until the last minute when he was at the wrong address and upset. We stopped at their location in Newberg and gave them photo of the washer info 5 days prior. The service tech (Wendell) showed up with preconceived idea of what was wrong despite even the error code on the machine. Did little to no investigation except saying the machine was over 5 years old, we needed to "junk" it, and to go their shop and buy a new Speed Queen. Totally torched any other product including our Maytag (which they sell). He did no investigative work and walked out. My step son looked on the internet and found the exact problem...unplug and let it re-set. Its now been 2 days since and numerous loads (after a week without a washer) with it working fine. Wendy (the Owner) called my wife today and admitted that their service guy "lacks communication skills". We also have a email from their sales person saying the same thing. It appeared to us he only wanted a show up fee and to sell us a new machine. And they marked us as "out of the area" on the service call even though we are only 2 miles from their business. I hate putting down a local business but I'd avoid this company even if it means going to the big box companies.

From start to finish the installation went well. I knew it was going to be a beast. (Re &re wall…read moreoven) Scott & Jeff handled it well and everything worked and looked great when they were done. Quote was very reasonable. I'm hanging on to their card for future work.

Old unit, stuff was starting to go bad. Great unit though, that's why we stuck with the same brand.

I finally found what I have been looking for awhile here. Parents told me to get some pots and pans…read moremade by Revere and I was like I have not seen that brand elsewhere. They purchased their couple sets back 30+ years ago in San Francisco. That brand was really awesome. But to me, it was not easy to find. Today came and decided to walk in and I saw it right at the entrance. I was too excited!!! I had to call home about it. Mom was too excited. We ended up getting a set of 10 and very likely will be back to get more. I took a quick glance around and I realized that lots of things I have at home can all be found here. Corelle plates and Corning ware and yes Revere pots and pans. I was too excited when I walked out the store. Back when my parents got married and bought their kitchen stuff it all came from the store Corning ware but they just didn't realize it. This is not my first time in this outlet but first time walking in here. Now thinking about it, my mom loves buying corningware. I should have figured out. Yes Corning ware and Revere products are great. We are still using our original Revere products after 30 plus years

Spent 30 minutes driving down from Portland exclusively to pick up some replacement pieces. Arrived at 12:45pm on Sunday. The sign on the door listed their open hours which included 12:45pm Sunday. But no. Doors locked. Took a walk around and tried again at 1:15pm. Still not open. Tried calling. Rang no answer. Went home. Waste of gas. Wasted my time.

I asked if he wanted to hear the sound. He did not. I left him to it. 35 or so minutes later, he said that he cleaned debris from the pumps, showed me a shard of glass, and when I listened to it running for a few seconds, the sound seemed to be gone. Great. Then he said it would be $245, his minimum labor charge. That sounded rather steep to me. He lowered it to $220 (after pretending to text a boss, which I don't think he has), but that was still more than I felt was fair for the work he did. The next time I ran a load of dishes the sound was there again. I emailed him, attaching a short video of the noise happening, and he wrote that he would come by to check it out. I asked for times that would work for him, and at that point he stopped replying. After that, I asked for a partial refund. Again, no response. I feel a bit ripped off, paying $220 when the problem wasn't even resolved. So, no, I cannot recommend Davyd/PDX Repair. I suggest looking for a more honorable, experienced appliance repair person, as I will the next time I need one.

Especially as the giant sandwich board is being rolled out by the street to draw traffic. Add a 40% off Early Bird discount, and I was the first person through the door! Kitsch and kitchen gadgets galore, albums, and a huge Christmas decor collection, I had to be mindful of what I decided to take home with me and it's purpose. No, I don't smoke, so why is that collection of vintage Reno hotel ashtrays calling my name?! I found a beautiful cookbook for my niece, an ornament for my sister in law and a cheesy bolo I could repurpose, if I only had a glue gun. Where is my glue gun? Maybe I could find one here. Grabbing the vintage military issue field and bomber jackets was a no brainer, at less than $10 for both. My purchases awarded me 6 entries into their monthly gift card drawing and a coupon for 50% off the highest priced item of my choosing, should I return the next Tuesday. They have color coded discounts daily. Now to see if I can hold myself accountable and actually resell these items whilst decluttering my home.
