I personally loved the oatmeal cookie lover ice cream which tasted just like a homemade oatmeal cookie with chunks of cookie in it. The store offers fudge, candies, and dip ice cream, so there is a sweet treat for everyone. The staff is so nice and they offer samples. For a business to allow a customer to walk away due to the mask mandate is a very stupid business decision. I've eaten at numerous restaurants across the state since March. We walked into Ab's for fudge and ice cream (likely to spend $30-40). I knew when the clerk walked away (all the sudden) that something will he said. All other businesses allow the customer to choose whether or not they want to wear a mask. I was asked if we had masks. My response was "No we don't." The male told me that we could wait outside and he would take or order there. I am NOT going to be ran out of business and be ran outside over a stupid mask mandate. If u don't want my business, don't worry.... I'll never be back. I try to shop mom and pop locations vs chains. But, I'll never walk back to this business!! read more

We stopped by this local ice cream shop while on vacation. It satisfied our ice cream and milkshake cravings, with many great sounding flavors to choose from, but it is all Hershey ice cream, which, don't get me wrong, is great, but I did not find anything really "unique" about them. This little shop also carries an assortment of candies, including salt water taffy. While overall it is probably a crowdpleaser, it just didn't meet my expectations from reading the many reviews here. read more

I glanced up at the menu board and the older grey haired gentleman behind the counter was rushing us to a point it was uncomfortable. I asked him if it was closing time, was that the issue? He answered rudely, no. Yikes. I had my deodorant on and was wearing a mask. Hmmm Peanut butter ice cream was good but he ruined it for me. I think he had to poop or Weight Watchers sent him. I will say this first. The icecream was good. Of course it was because it was the Hersheys Icecream you can get anywhere basically. The problem I have is the owner who was extremely rude when ten people walk in to give his completely dead business our money. It is also sad that his young helper(which was probably his son) had to experience his dad treating people so disrespectful the whole time. He was short with us, rude to our kids, and so much more. This shop sells fine ice cream and I understand their fudge is a quality product as well. There are a few disappointing aspects to this shop which will preclude us from making future visits: 1) The shop used to have tables but for some reason the owner decided it would be better to replace tables with benches. This makes sharing a premium ice cream bowl pretty darn difficult and discourages customers from buying higher priced items. 2) If a customer asks for a cup of water restaurant staff will grab a bathroom sized Dixie cup and fill it with warm tap water. I'm not a picky person and so warm tap water is fine, but I can not take a business seriously when they provide water by the dixie cup in an attempt to upsell me on a bottle of water. I know they are a business out to make money but the point of an ice cream shop is to sell an experience as well. I've paid $5 for a product I can get at a grocery store for 70% less. So if a restaurateur is selling an experience they'd best make it a quality one that is all encompassing. When a customer asks for water to make their dining experience better a restaurateur had better fulfill this simple request lest they lose business to competitors that sell fine ice cream and a quality dining experience. read more

It's obvious that he only cares about making money and not at all about his customers or employees, and the only reason he makes money is because of the nice young ladies and men he has working in there.
