Sara - and the Pecan Turtle Cluster with added cookie dough pieces.

This is an excellent Dairy Queen location. I can recommend Sara's Pecan Turtle Cluster with her recommended addition of cookie dough. The picture shows the constructed product. It is a great invention and hopefully will be added to the national Dairy Queen Menu with a sizable creator's fee paid to Sara.

A trip to the beach could never be complete without a visit to Dairy Queen! It's impossible to come to Dairy Queen and not be able to find something you don't like. Blizzards are always a safe call, and I grew up sipping their wonderful vanilla milkshakes. This location is very nice and offers food as well. It wasn't very crowded when we headed there for a post dinner snack and the service was quick. I tried a seasonal Blizzard (the Jurassic Crunch), which was vanilla soft serve mixed with buckeye balls (basically peanut butter Rolos) and a chocolate sauce. It was good, but I'd recommend other blizzards like cookie dough or Heath bar over it!

Great service and a very tasty Heath blizzard. The staff could not have been nicer. Plenty of free parking. Recommended.

We had a great dinner here!…read more Luckily it wasn't extremely busy so we were seated right away! Our waitress was extremely pleasant and took great care of us without being annoying. We had the calamari appetizer and it was excellent! It was very lightly battered and was so soft and flavorful. I ordered the fried oysters which were plentiful, light and so tasty! My husband had the scallops platter and they were very large and tender. I can't remember having such delicious seafood! What was so nice was we walked from our rental to the restaurant and enjoyed the fresh air! It was a lovely evening with family. P.S. - they had live music -a guitar player who played a wide variety of beach favorites from the 70s to the 90s! We've loved this vacation to Atlantic Beach and hope to return again soon!

My salad and the kids' appetizer arrived at the same time as our main courses. By a stroke of luck I was able to eat my salad without my burger getting cold because my order had to be recooked. The burger had a pure 75% lean beef flavor without any unnecessary flavor additives. The tater tots were crispy through to the core. The no-name ketchup was plentiful. I would definitely return when the staff turns over.

I had the Asian Crunch with grilled shrimp and my hubby had the house salad with grilled tuna! We both loved the choices and almost licked our plates clean. In my many trips to the AB area, I've driven by the old Mosquito often but it's always, always,…read morealways packed no matter the time of year. New plan for this trip. Step one should be the same for everyone. Get there when they open at 4:45 because damn does this place get busy quick even on weekdays. When I rolled into the parking lot at 4:40, I had probably 15-20 already at the door. Step two, if you get there at open, consider bar seating. Clam Chowder - Scalloped Scallops - Key Lime Pie I'll just keep it at this. Is anything I ordered going to reinvent the culinary wheel? No, and one could argue that the only negative here is that most everything is on the pricey side. But with that said, everything was extremely consistent, everything was brought out perfectly timed, my cup never runnethed (sure, it's a word) empty and the bar staff are all excellent conversationalists. Also one big upside, the ambiance. The bar area is kept dark as it should be in any bar type situation and the music selection was mostly a fantastic mix of classic R&B and Blues. Can't tell you the last time I enjoyed seafood while listening to John Lee Hooker (well, I can and it would be never which is why my mind was sort of blown). Groaney, groan, groan on some of the pricing but the overall situation here is worth the five stars. I get the hype and I get why it's always busy. Also, kudos to the owner who was up front and making sure to thank every single person that walked by/out the door. Very classy.

The food keeps getting better. I was there for a late lunch last week and was lucky that the Mahi sandwich was the special. It was delicious. We also had Conch Fritters for an appetizer. We ate on the deck overlooking the ocean and actually got to see a dolphin swimming by! Service was great and I could tell they really pitched in and got the table next to ours cleaned off quickly when the patrons left their table. I'll definitely be back ASAP.

I think we had about 6 flying around our table by the time the entrees arrived. It's something to keep in mind. It was also pretty hot in there. The food was pretty good, though improvements can certainly be made. The hushpuppies were a bit dry, though I liked the corn in them. It was a neat touch. I got the rasta pasta. For the most part, it was tasty, although they didn't remove the shrimp tails. I can't say I'm a seafood connoisseur, so I dont know if that's normal for pasta dishes, but it's something to note. The Mahi Mahi and blackened tuna got positive feedback. We also got an appetizer of bacon-wrapped scallops. They were alright, I liked the touch of barbecue. Service was rather slow. The drink refills took a while, but both the sweet tea and lemonade were good. Overall, this felt fairly average, which I wouldn't say is necessarily a bad thing. I'd go for the sunshine grilled Mahi. Can't comment on dessert (I would have tried, but I was too full.) And I really do reccomend the lemonade, it tasted nice and freshly squeezed. Hope this helps.
