I decided on getting my nails done for the first time in almost 4 years, a little treat for my birthday. I didn't want to go to my last nail salon since it was a little out of the way. I decided I'd pick a place close to my work so I went with AB nails. They asked me what I wanted and didn't pressure me into anything I didn't want. They did such a fantastic job on my nails and I get so many compliments!! The only thing I have a complaint about is lack of beverages while you're getting your service of choice. Went in for a FILL as my usual place was busy, I figured that fills are usually around $20 no matter where you go so didn't ask for the prices as I had read on google that their prices were pretty cheap. She ended up charging me $25, which I thought was expensive (what I usually pay for a full set) but paid then tipped on that. I grabbed a flier as I was leaving and it wasn't until we were driving away that I realized fills should be $18 and full sets are $25!! She overcharged us then I tipped on that! They were nice but hurt me a few times while filing my nails and the polish looks uneven. For $18 I wouldn't care that much, I am not picky- but for $25 the quality is not there. If they charged me fairly I would probably give them a 3.5, but I don't like being cheated read more

Always do a good job. This place is around the corner from me and have visited here a couple dozen times over the years. They do a great job. They include a hot stone massage with a regular pedicure at no extra cost. I have also had my eyebrows and lip waxed there too, Cassie and Betty (the owner) are the best. Great service for the price. Sat. 6.15.2019 Oh my... I normally patronize another nail shop, but my tech Cindy, left. So I went across the street to this place. What a fool I was for giving this place a chance. I looked at the few reviews a handful of times and decided give them a try. Upon opening the door, the worker said only, "yes?" not hello. can I help you, etc. The pedicure was painful. Timeline: Started to clip nails, and cuticles on DRY nails.. No water or cuticle remover, nor allowing my feet to soak. The water was turned on after having starting to clip my nails with nothing added to the water??? Just a stale lonely ripple. After soaking them for maybe 5 minutes each.. It was over, and on to the brillo pad gloves The green worn looking gloves where used on my legs and feet. I'm fine with the feet,but not my legs as the texture is toooo rough..felt like little needles on that part of the body. this was BARELY bearable. And something that I have not experienced in prior salons. Imagine something pricking your thin skin in a up and down motion. Horrid. **Pause.. A worker just poured bleach down the Drain of the customer whom just left. Lovely smell I'm now getting a very nice message. Now on to the alcohol wipes- cleaning And now the Polish My feet have remained out of the water for most of the service.. As well as other customers so I've noticed. Both feet are pulled out to dry even when one is not being worked on. No wonder everything hurts ***pause, a new customer just sat next to me and was asked which pedicure she'd like with a menu I was not offered anything? Pedicure is now over. lasted roughly 15 minutes with the tech going back and forth between two others. I am now waiting for my nails to dry and the workers apparently leave one customer to assist others, and switch again. That is odd. Dust is floating all around every time a box or container moves. Too many side conversations among the workers. Not rudely. But not my preference. Here's a shocker. I'm not returning. read more

Beware. They only use foot files to remove calluses. These are unsanitary. They don't even have a pumice stone and charged me full price for half a service. My nails looked about as bad as when I came in. When I went to leave, the manicurist came up and ASKED me for a tip. Rude, inappropriate, and just no. Especially after I was clearly unhappy. So much for trying to get a cheaper mani/pedi in Plano. I'll pay full price by where I live. read more

Nice little hole in the wall nail salon. Liked how it is owned by a Chinese family - I'm Chinese myself so I think I might be biased though lol. Affordable prices and they do awesome hot stone massage with the pedicure. I got there today at closing time right at 6pm and they still even offered me a manicure when all I wanted was a pedicure- liked the atmosphere and was at ease with them. Was surprised I wasn't offered refreshments but wasn't a huge deal since I only drink water anyway. Will be returning. read more

I have a choice of about 4 - 5 other nail places near home. A B Nails is about average in technique & price. I've never had to wait more than about 10 minutes, so that's a plus & the reason I end up going here mostly. I'm not impressed with the short sanitation of the foot tubs between customers...seems too quick, but I've never had any infections (knock on wood). I usually get the mani-pedi & sometimes I'll pay the extra for the callus treatment to soften my feet (really helps). They take time to trim cuticles & do a good job. The lotion used to massage is thin & watery and the scent doesn't appeal to me, but, it's absorbed within seconds. The foot/leg massage is is soothing and relaxing. I don't wear artificial nails, just a manicure with my own polish at the end. They have a good selection of nail polish brands & colors. The art work on my big toes and the nail polish lasts for weeks (I bring my own Opi, usually). No, they don't even offer water...take your own. read more
