I wish I had the ability to give the place 0 stars. Your another trash location that's refusing to take US, cash because u don't have change to cover for the days business and no bill over a certain. Why n the world does the US Government print money that no one takes? Someone explain that one to me. The prefer a credit/debit card to make transactions. If I have the cash to pay why would I want to get in debt? It's illegal as well to deny any form of us currency for payment of goods or services. During these uncertain times, I am still trying to help local businesses and this boba place is one of them. On one of my daily quests, I ventured out to seek a place where they are open and operational and in terms of the safety and health precautions, I am taking full duty in wearing gloves and face masks if I do go out. This place was pretty empty and I've been here 2 times now. Very affordable and would seem like a great place to hang out if we were only able to sit and chat. One of the key points is that they are still operational with a full menu and I appreciate it because I've been to a couple places where they limit the amount of items on the menu or change their store hours to be half day. Wintermelon green tea is so good, went twice in one day. My coworkers tried the signature milk, almond milk tea and lychee tea, which they said were all good. Went back again after dinner with the fam and we tried their mango smoothie with sparkling boba, mixed fruit tea with rainbow jelly and chocolate milk tea. Happy with all of them! The quality of the tea and the drinks were really good. Typically, we would drive all the way to Rowland heights for this type of tea so I am happy there's one close by now. The price ranges around $4+ which is typical for good quality tea/boba. The place is simple and clean. Staff are very nice. Parking can be tight. This part of the strip mall gets busy especially at lunch time. But definitely happy to have a good boba place in Cypress. read more

Another great boba place. I wish boba places would open earlier, but I found that most open around 11am. I stopped by because I was in the area. I got the peach green tea, and I really enjoyed the flavors. There was a strong tea flavor, which I liked. I was debating whether to try the tea slush, but opted for what I knew. Defiantly a great place for tea and smoothies. Customer service was excellent for being a first timer. The girl with the glasses was super nice and walked me through the different kinds of teas and add on's they had. She also was kind enough to ask and change my tea to how how sweet I like and did not like. That's a plus considering you are paying for something you want to enjoy. They do have a variety of teas, milk teas and smoothies to choose from. Also they have a different add on variety to choose from versus just your standard boba. The reason I gave it a 4 rating was because they ran out of their gummy bear boba. I guess it lychee flavored jelly looking bears as add on. In fact, they used to be called Gotcha Teahouse, but changed the name recently. This is the one place that I can order a Honeydew Green Tea that doesn't taste like it has been processed through a factory. When it was Gotcha Teahouse, customer service was likable, but the last two times at AB Teahouse, the cashier wasn't particularly all there. But I won't dock a star just because someone was having a bad day, that day. The interior is sort of dark and plays KPOP music 99.9% of the time, but I am not complaining (since I know half of the songs they play, but don't understand the lyrics). Came here when it was named Gotcha and I thought the drinks here were pretty good! I had an issues with them once when I got the Plum tea w/ no sugar. My friend and I both thought it tasted nasty so I decided to tell them I was not satisfied with my drink at all and I ended up tossing it while it was full. I was not able to tell them that I did not like it at the time I was there because I was in a rush to pick up a friend. The girl I was talking to was really rude and continued to try and convince that I should have got it with sugar and that it'd taste better. It was not the fact that it wasn't sweet enough, but it was literally the flavor that made me sick to my stomach. She did not apologize whatsoever and when I asked to talk to her manager, she lied and told me they weren't there (they were in fact there and I was able to speak to them after awhile). The reason why I'm rated them 4 stars instead of lower is because I actually really do enjoy their other drinks (especially the kiwi green tea) and the girl that took my order the day I returned was so kind to me. This has been a consistent go-to boba tea place for me. The service us quick and they have flavors I haven't seen before. The Paris 1818 with Oreo and egg pudding was surprising good. Been here more times now, and these guys are pretty good! Only reason I don't give a 5 star... Well, its because every time I order a mango smoothie, they tell me 2 different things. Either, I cannot ask for the sugar to be altered, OR, I can ask for the sugar to be altered. The owner really need to trained harder with all her baristas to be consistent on making the drinks at same quantity as she already promised other viewers. I discovered this place when I visited Curry House. I was instantly in love with the sun moon lake tea (without cream) because it's freshly brewed and started the visited at least once a week. I always ordered without ice and was told since the first visit that it won't be filled up. I was okay with it and didn't have problem until the 4th or 5th visit. Like some reviewers, I noticed the inconsistency on how much drinks they pour in when ordered without ice. I almost stopped coming when my 80% drink filled with about 50% foam turned into only 50% drink after the foam settled. I certainly felt cheated. However, I still like the tea very much and you can't find authentic fresh brew tea in the area. So I decided to give it a second chance. It was still less than when I first visited but there was a little improvement. I decided to documented each visit to see if it improved or not. Last two times I got consistent amount. For sure today was a disappointment. As you can see I only get 50% filled on one of the drink and 10% of it was foam. The other probably 60% fill. I did complain about the amount to the cashier and barista but they just looked at me (probably thinking "we told you it won't be fill") I did try to add ice once but it changed the taste of the tea.
